Confessions of Faith when you don't know what to do real help article

Years ago, when Pastor George Pearsons faced a problem, like most of us, he would initially say, “I don’t know what to do.” But one day, the Lord said to him, George, you must strike that phrase from your vocabulary forever. In that moment, Pastor George realized the adjustments God wanted him to make.

First, he realized when a problem or situation was presented to him, he didn’t have to say anything. Second, God gave him this to say as a confession of his faith for the problem:
“I believe I receive the perfect wisdom of God. By faith I know exactly what to do.”
Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). And our faith is released when we speak it (Mark 11:23). So if we are facing a situation that needs resolving, we need to release our faith from the moment that situation presents itself, rather than confess that we don’t know what to do.

For whatever problem or issue or situation we might face, God has wisdom for us to receive—wisdom that brings resolution (James 1:5).
The next time you’re facing a problem that needs solving, speak the following 6 Confessions of Faith for When You Don’t Know What To Do, and watch God begin to give you wisdom for the answer.

1. According to Colossians 1:9, I am filled with the deep and clear knowledge of God’s will, in all spiritual wisdom and comprehensive insight, into the ways and purposes of God.
“So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.”

2. According to Isaiah 11:2, the Spirit of the Lord rests upon me—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
“And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.”

3. According to 1 Corinthians 1:30, Jesus was made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption” (NKJV).

4. According to Proverbs 2:6-7, the Lord gives me wisdom. Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous. God has laid up sound wisdom for me.
“For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly” (NKJV).

5. According to Ephesians 1:17, God has granted me a spirit of wisdom and revelation, of insight into mysteries and secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him.
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (NKJV).

6. According to James 1:5, if I lack wisdom (comprehensive insight) into the ways and purposes of God in any area, all I have to do is ask God in faith and not waver. He will liberally give it to me.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (NKJV).

Now, make this final confession with your hand over your heart:
I believe that I receive the key issue to my situation. I have the perfect wisdom of God. By faith I know exactly what to do. By faith, by faith, by faith, I know exactly what to do. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
