Most people want to bring people to the Lord, but fear and intimidation keep them from knowing where to even start. We are each called to be salt and light in the world—even if it’s a bit uncomfortable at times! Here are seven things we teach at KCM Evangelism Training events that will help you formulate a plan to save the lost.

God told Joshua, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success" (Joshua 1:8). From this one scripture, we can see that God’s prosperity will work only in the life of the believer who is committed to the Word. God’s Word must be first place!

There is only one God, but the Trinity refers to the three persons in the Godhead—the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Each One is wholly God—not just a part of God. And together, they are God in oneness. (See Matthew 28:19.) Each Person of the Trinity has individual characteristics, yet none ever acts independently or in opposition to the others. There is always total unity and harmony. “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (the Son), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (1 John 5:7-8).

Whenever praying and confessing isn’t yielding results, it is wise to look at other factors, which is what you’re doing. Financial success and prosperity are promised in God’s Word, but like any other promise, there are conditions we must meet as well. Obedience is key to every promise. Without it, there is no guarantee of results. So, ask yourself the following:

Jesus said in Mark 12:17, “Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.” In that day, the coin used to pay taxes was the Roman denarius, and it had Caesar’s picture on it. Since it was a government coin and had a government stamp on it, it belonged to the government. What Jesus was saying was, “The coin is Caesar’s; let him have his own.”

Borrowing money is not a sin.  But it isn’t God’s best either.  Everything in God’s Word is designed to keep you at the top in every area of life—including financially. You are called to be the head, not the tail; above, not beneath; and the lender, not the borrower (Deuteronomy 28:12-13). In other words, borrowing money is not the goal! If you want to move to the top as God intended, make debt freedom your aim. Build your faith to receive cars, houses and anything else debt free. And make a decision to stop using credit cards! 

Yes! Angels are on assignment to minister for you.

Because elected officials vote with their party platform the majority of the time (Democrats 74%, Republicans 89%), it is important to vote not for an individual, but for the platform that most closely lines up with the Word of God. What should you consider when looking at the platforms? 1. Israel “I will bless those who bless [Israel], and whoever curses [Israel] I will curse.” –Genesis 12:3 (NIV)

If you’ve been feeling “stuck” in your finances, health, relationships, business or ministry, there are some steps you can take to break loose and move forward as God desires you to do.  1. Pay attention to the “ifs” in the Bible.

If you’re looking for a home church where you can be rooted and planted according to Psalm 92:13, you probably already know that church-shopping can be quite a process. As you prayerfully consider where to plant your family, use this checklist for choosing the right church, and get rooted! The right church will:

One way to appropriate your faith for supernatural protection through the blood of Jesus and under the promise of Psalm 91 is to anoint your home with oil. Oil represents the power of the Holy Spirit and is a symbol of faith in God’s ability to cleanse and make holy. It is an act of consecrating your home to Him.

Your words are powerful. And speaking the Word of God over every circumstance is exactly what we’re called to do (Mark 11:23). But what happens when it seems like your confessions aren’t working? There was a woman who was hit over the head and mugged while out running errands. She was so upset and couldn’t understand what happened. ““How could this happen to me?” she asked. “I confess Psalm 91 protection over myself every day!” Maybe you’ve felt the same. You’ve confessed a scripture and then seen the opposite results and wondered why.

“Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches” –Proverbs 24:3-4 (NKJV). If you desire to build a house like the one described above, there are some practical ways to start—and they all have to do with atmosphere.

Somewhere along the way, an unspoken rule was formed that says you must always have it together. Be perfect. Never feel weary in your faith. However, feeling out of energy or tired after a long fight of faith is nothing new. Maybe you’re there now. You don’t doubt where the Source of your life and victory is, yet you find yourself empty. But one thing you must NEVER do is stay there.

The prayer of agreement is one of the most powerful tools God has given us. It is a prayer that Jesus Himself guaranteed would bring results every time. “...If two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask,” He said, “...it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 18:19). When you don’t see the results He promised, I’ve found the problem usually lies in one of four areas.  

Utilizing the ministry of angels is part of your salvation package! God provided these powerful beings to aid you on the earth, bless you and minister to you. If you haven’t been tapping into this powerful, supernatural resource, here is how you can receive the help of angels.

Sometimes it can appear that ministry would be more successful if it could receive the full-time attention a job does not allow. But the decision to quit your job and live by faith should be preceded by much prayer. And the factor often missing in this consideration is this: You can live by faith while holding your job, too!

None of us knows the number of times we have uttered the words, “Father, forgive me.” We do know, though, that when we ask for His mercy, we receive it when we say, “Lord, forgive me for that. I repent of it.” We receive His forgiveness by faith because we believe His Word that says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, KJV).

It’s common to want to know the future. Is something bad coming my way? When is the best time to make an important decision? Should I be extra cautious today? For 3,000 years astrology has claimed to answer those questions by observing stars, the sun, the moon and planets. You might see astrological charts or horoscopes online, in newspapers and in books.

First of all, you must start being moved by faith. You can’t get anything accomplished as long as you allow fear and worry to dominate your thinking. Stop the negative flow by starting to think and talk what the Word of God says about your children instead of dwelling on the problems you see in their lives.
