It’s important to know that there is nothing spiritually wrong with taking medicine. It is perfectly acceptable to attack sickness on both the natural and the spiritual level. Not taking medicine is not what will get you healed. Faith in God and His Word that says, “By His stripes you were healed,” is what brings healing. His Word makes it clear that in His great love, God wants all His people well. In many cases, a person’s faith may not be developed enough to receive healing without taking medicine.

With all the voices coming at us from every direction—including our own thoughts—it can sometimes be difficult to know when you’re hearing the voice of God. But hearing from God and feeling confident about it is something every believer can and should experience. John 10:27 says, “My sheep hear my voice.”  So how do you know if it is God?

There is no question that it is God’s will for you to live long and strong on the earth. It’s a promise He makes to His people again and again! If you’re a believer in Jesus, you don’t have to slowly deteriorate in your mind and body, walking hunched over, suffering from age-related ailments, and living under the care of others. You don’t have to die young! The Word of God has promised you long life, strength and health all your days. And…He has also told us how.

It’s easy to think that, but the truth is, you need the local church, and the local church needs you. Hebrews 10:24-25 urges, “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near” (NLT).

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland are not against doctors or medicine. In fact, they thank God for them. They see their doctor for regular check-ups and have hosted several different Christian doctors on the Believer’s Voice of Victory broadcasts over the years.

Yes, if given opportunity. And you can be sure Satan will try to take advantage of every opportunity made available to him (1 Peter 5:8). Many people are oppressed by Satan in their minds, as others are in their bodies. Satan cannot read our minds, but he can tempt us with wrong thoughts. The good news is that we can resist those thoughts by speaking God’s Word out of our mouths.

There is a reason we call the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Good News! That’s because the Bible tells us that when we are born again, we become new creations, our past is gone and our sins are washed away, making us white as snow (Luke 2:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 John 1:9; 1 John 1:7)

Sickness and disease are under the curse, which ultimately came into the earth as a result of Adam’s sin. However, through Jesus, we have been redeemed from the curse (Galatians 3:13)! So, why do Christians still get sick? If we violate natural laws (maintaining a poor diet, neglecting to exercise our bodies, allowing stress to dominate, smoking cigarettes, etc.), we’re opening the door to the devil’s work and the curse. 

You can experience a 100% success rate in your prayer life. That’s right.  The best part? The Bible tells us how! Here are steps to prayer that bring results. 1. Base Your Prayers on God’s Word. (1 John 5:14-15) You can go boldly to the throne of grace when your prayers are lined up with what God has already said. There is a promise from God to you for every situation you face. Find the scriptures that match your situation, then pray accordingly. You will see results.

A whole new world will open up for you as you discover not just what the anointing is, but what it means to you. The Bible defines the anointing as “God on flesh doing those things that flesh cannot do.” In other words, it’s God doing through people like us what we couldn’t do on our own (2 Corinthians 4:7).

This can be difficult because the flesh has its own ideas! But Matthew 5:44 gives us a clear answer.

Yes, we will be able to recognize one another in heaven. There are many examples of this in the Bible. Jesus said we would be able to sit down with people like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 8:11). This would imply that we will keep our individual identities and be able to recognize each other.

When it comes to certain lifestyle choices, as Christians, it is important to discern between absolute truth and what is a wise choice. The Apostle Paul said everything is permissible but not all things are beneficial (1 Corinthians 10:23). In other words, if something is not expressly identified in the Word of God as sin, it does not necessarily make it the wisest choice.

There are no instructions in the Bible as to how to handle the physical body after death. While cremation has pagan roots, we do not see the prohibiting of the practice mentioned in Scripture. There are many examples of burials throughout the Bible. In Genesis 23:9, Abraham purchased a burial site for Sarah and himself, and Joseph requested that his bones be carried out of Egypt (Genesis 50:25). In the New Testament, ground burials were noted for John the Baptist (Mark 6:29), Lazarus (John 11:17-19) and Jesus (Mark 15:46). There are no mentions of cremation in the New Testament.

In reference to studying the Bible, we would like to share one way Brother Copeland studies the Bible. He sets aside a time in his schedule to study a particular subject or scripture(s) he would like to understand more clearly. He treats this time like an appointment he cannot miss. At the onset of this time, he asks the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself through the scripture. He then reads what the scripture says and meditates on it.

No matter what you’re struggling with right now, know this—God wants you totally and completely free from every bondage. It’s why He sent Jesus! No matter how long you’ve struggled with addiction to alcohol or how strong you feel the addiction might be, nothing is more powerful than the bondage-breaking, yoke-destroying power of the Name of Jesus. You might feel alone right now, but there are countless testimonies of people who have been just where you are who are perfectly free of all addiction today. Freedom belongs to you!

Your marriage is a treasure. It represents Christ and the Church. It is a gift from God. And He desires that all marriages stay together. A strong, intact family is a blessing and a witness to the world. And for so many other reasons, it keeps you happy and healthy! Here are a few things you can do to protect your marriage from the attacks of the enemy:

John 14:13-14 says, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it” (NIV). Since it is God’s will that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9), it is important that we intercede for those who are lost, even if they say they refuse to receive Jesus. There are many testimonies of those who are the most stubborn coming to Christ and being saved! So be encouraged and keep praying.

One of the greatest of all deceptions in the Church that keeps God’s people sick, battling diseases and dying young is the lie that healing has passed away. There is not one scripture that says healing is not for today. None whatsoever. However, there are countless scriptures that declare God’s will is healing—every time, for every believer. Since Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8), He is just as much the Healer He was when He walked the earth.

We praise God for television. Through it Kenneth Copeland and others are reaching hundreds of thousands more people with the uncompromised Word of God than would ever be possible in a single church service. The television ministry is a tool to not only feed the Body of Christ but to also win the world to Jesus. However, televised ministry should never take the place of assembling together with other believers under pastoral leadership. That is why Kenneth Copeland strongly encourages local church attendance over merely watching services on television.
