We praise God for television. Through it Kenneth Copeland and others are reaching hundreds of thousands more people with the uncompromised Word of God than would ever be possible in a single church service. The television ministry is a tool to not only feed the Body of Christ but to also win the world to Jesus.

However, televised ministry should never take the place of assembling together with other believers under pastoral leadership. That is why Kenneth Copeland strongly encourages local church attendance over merely watching services on television.

Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Every believer needs fellowship with believers of similar faith.

The Body of Christ is fitly joined and firmly knitted together so that every part supplies to the other parts (Ephesians 4:16). Just as the individual parts of your body are dependent on each other for proper and efficient functioning, so is the Body of Christ. When the Body of Christ gathers together, there is greater power because of the collective faith.

We encourage believers to find a church where they can worship freely, hear the Word preached in an uncompromising manner, and be ministered to personally by the Holy Spirit.
