“Husbands…[give] honor to the wife.” –1 Peter 3:7 (NKJV) “Let the wife see that she respects her husband.” –Ephesians 5:33 (ESV) It can be difficult to deal with a spouse who is unloving. You want them to change first, and you certainly don’t feel like showing honor and love to someone so unlovable!  However… In John 13:34, Jesus commanded us to “love each other.” He wasn’t commanding us to have a feeling. He was commanding us to make the right CHOICE. 

Dealing with the death of a loved one, whether you are prepared for it or not, can be very difficult. It’s natural to experience sadness over the separation. But be aware that Satan will try to get you to stay in a place of sadness—a place where sorrow and grief will attempt to press in on you.

Scientology is a religious movement based on a system of beliefs, practices and rituals created in 1952 by science-fiction author L. Ron Hubbard. It was later characterized as an “applied religious philosophy” by the Church of Scientology in 1953. Scientology has become fairly successful, especially in Hollywood where it has attracted many actors and performers. Although Scientology presents itself as a harmless philosophy that even a Christian can embrace, here are a few of its main points that don’t line up with what the Bible teaches:

Answered prayer is based on having a covenant relationship with the Lord, as all Christians do. The promises of that covenant are expressed in the Scriptures. From God’s point of view, those promises are the legal provisions which He has supplied for His children. They define the covenant relationship and are inseparable from it.

Second Corinthians 5:21 says, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” At Kenneth Copeland Ministries, we believe that when Jesus died for us and rose again, He purchased for us a total and complete redemption which required that He endure a physical and spiritual death.We know Jesus had no sin. He was not born with a spiritual nature of sin like men who have earthly fathers, and He never committed any sin while He was on the earth (Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 4:15).

The Apostle Paul gave some instructions to believers in 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.    Once you have the elements (which you can purchase for home use), take the time to come to God. As you begin, say something like this:  

The concept of yin and yang originates in ancient Chinese philosophy and has been identified with the philosophical religions of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. The yin and yang philosophy states that two primal opposing but complementary forces are found in all things in the universe.

The decision about whether to change churches is an important one. God has a plan for your life, and being in the right church is a vital part of that plan. So, your decision should be made prayerfully, seeking the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 37:23; John 16:13).

Jesus is coming back. There’s a day and an hour appointed for His return. We know that’s true because Jesus spoke of it saying, “Of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36). At that appointed time, He will catch away those of us who are prepared for His coming and take us to heaven with Him to celebrate for seven years. Then He’ll bring us back with Him when He comes to reign over the earth. What a day that will be!

The purpose of dating for a Christian should be to find a life partner to marry. It should by no means be taken lightly or casually. As such, it is important to approach dating prayerfully and with wisdom. With such an important life decision before you, seeking counsel from strong Christians—including parents, friends and pastors—will enable you to make that decision with confidence. 

From television to movies and magazines, we are flooded with voices telling us we have any number of possible choices that can bring deliverance from our fears, peace about death and success in life. Even voices from religious tradition have brought confusion about what it means to gain and keep our salvation. God does not want man spending life on earth continually questioning whether he is saved, always fighting thoughts that he isn’t good enough or hasn’t done enough to earn God’s favor. For the clear truth about salvation, listen to the voice of God’s Word:

If you have received a bad report from the doctor, what you do from this point on will turn your life in one direction or the other. You have a choice to make—hook your wagon to the facts the doctor gave you or to the truth Jesus died to give you. God’s covenant with you promises you healing from every sickness and disease, which means you have the right to live in divine health all the days of your life (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17).  On the other hand, you have what the devil is throwing at you, which is:

God is calling people from all denominations to live a life of power. He is revealing how to live victoriously—day in and day out, in good times and bad. Faith in God’s Word will change your life. Some people use faith to get born again, then lay it down and never use it again. If you do that, you’ll never be able to make spiritual principles work for you. Every one of Jesus’ apostles operated by faith. Their faith wasn’t some kind of special apostle faith either. It was the same kind of faith you and I have (2 Peter 1:1).

The world today often looks at the Body of Christ with a raised brow—especially in the workplace. They’ve not seen honorable Christians. In fact, they’ve seen too much dishonor, but you can help change that. You can guard the way you live your life and your conversation. You can be a strong witness for Jesus in the workplace. Honor may be hard to find, but it is easily recognized. 

Every day, commitments of honor are required of you in your job and it can be hard. It’s a choice between God’s honor and man’s. One brings true and sure success...and one brings shallow, temporal success that ends in ultimate failure. To Succeed Honorably in Your Job, Love God FirstGod is faithful to honor you when you act honorably. That’s because you are acting in something that originated in Him! He is honorable. When you operate in Him and out of love for Him, you operate in honor.

The Holy Spirit is always speaking; it’s just a matter of opening your spiritual ears to hear Him. Let’s look at three ways that you can improve your ability to hear the Holy Spirit.

Believers spend a lot of time and energy questioning this. But the answer to the question is the same no matter what your giftings and talents are: You are called to be a blessing.Actually, the only reason the Body of Christ is still physically present on planet earth right now is for this very reason. We’re members of His army, so what’s our calling? We’re on a mission to exercise authority over the powers of darkness, spread the light of the gospel and free a lost world from the devil’s grasp.

Relationships are important to God. In fact, one of the first things God did was create a relationship for Adam. He gave him Eve. But as Adam soon discovered, relationships aren’t always easy. Here are some steps for improving the relationships in your life:           Examine Your Relationships

Instead of heated arguments, cold silences, constant frustration and enduring anger, our marriages were loving, kind, peaceful, joyful and mutually fulfilling? But that’s not always the case.
