Why You Should Attend the 2026 Southwest Believers’ Convention

You know what it feels like to be in the room for the Southwest Believers’ Convention (SWBC). Remember sitting under the Word, sensing your faith rise, and leaving refreshed, refocused and ready to believe bigger? The truth is that everyday life doesn’t always make that easy.
Between responsibilities at home, work and family, it can be difficult to step away from the noise of the world long enough to strengthen your faith and hear clearly from the Lord. That’s why this faith-filled gathering of believers exists.
For more than four decades, believers have gathered at SWBC to worship God, hear powerful teaching from the Word, and experience the encouragement that comes from being together in faith.
This year marks 45 consecutive years of the Southwest Believers’ Convention in Fort Worth, where believers come together to celebrate their freedom and faith in Jesus. And SWBC 2026 will be significant.
After more than 55 years of ministry travel, Kenneth Copeland has entered a new season, following a mandate from the Lord to bring the ministry home. With that mandate, we are more excited than ever to gather at SWBC; launch new initiatives to serve you, our Partners, better; and soak up teaching from generals in the faith.
Now more than ever, gathering as believers matters. Hebrews 10:25 (AMP) reminds us:
“Not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction]…but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day approaching.”
As the return of Jesus draws near, believers are reminded to gather together, grow in faith, and encourage one another.
When you attend in person at the Fort Worth Convention Center, this event provides the opportunity to step away from daily distractions and focus fully on God. Before you register for the Southwest Believers’ Convention, here are four reasons attending this year is a must.
1. Immerse Yourself In the Word at the Southwest Believers’ Convention
Daily responsibilities can easily crowd out time in the Word of God. This important, life-changing event creates intentional space for believers to immerse themselves in Scripture, teaching and worship without distraction.
Why does this matter? Because what you sow into your spirit determines the fruit you experience in life. Galatians 6:8 explains:
“Those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.”
When you attend SWBC and all that it has to offer, you are choosing to invest in your spiritual life. Stepping away from everyday demands allows you to focus on God’s Word and grow in faith.
2. Experience Fellowship With Believers at SWBC 2026
God designed believers to walk in community. When He sent Jesus for our sins, He created a family of faith—people united through a relationship with Him. Join thousands of believers gathering together to worship, pray and encourage one another.
“If we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other” (1 John 1:7).
Fellowship strengthens faith and reminds believers that they are not alone in their walk with God. One of the most powerful aspects of the Southwest Believers’ Convention is the atmosphere created when believers gather together in unity.
3. Hear From the Lord at the Southwest Believers’ Convention
The Lord is your Shepherd. He feeds, guides and protects you (Psalm 23:1). But in today’s fast-paced world, it can be difficult to hear His voice clearly amid constant distractions. Jesus said:
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27).
Attending SWBC gives you the opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and position yourself to hear from God. Many who attend the convention leave with renewed clarity, direction and faith for what God is calling them to do next.
4. Model Your Faith Journey by Investing In Your Spiritual Growth
Your life influences more people than you may realize. Family members, friends and co-workers observe what you prioritize and how you live your faith. First Timothy 4:12 encourages believers:
“Be an example…in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
Attending the Southwest Believers’ Convention demonstrates commitment to spending time with God and growing spiritually. SWBC just may be the inspiration someone else needs to deepen their relationship with God.
