Submission has to do with order—not subordination. In the spirit world, there is no difference between men and women. In the natural realm, however, God has established a rank of authority in order to maintain order and avoid confusion. Ephesians 5:22 says, “For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord.” This is not elevation of the man above the woman in importance, power, anointing or revelation. It simply means that in the home, the husband is the leader.

The Bible is filled with references to a literal hell and a literal lake of fire. It’s very real. Here is a list of scriptures that can be of help as you study the subject:

You are forgiven! It’s so important to realize that. Whatever you have done, God forgave you the moment you asked Him and received His forgiveness. At the same time, it is important to understand that forgiveness doesn’t keep undesirable circumstances from coming into our lives as a result of our disobedience. 

The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:22 that we are to avoid the very appearance of evil. Living together without being married gives the appearance of evil and therefore should be avoided. It suggests that the couple involved is willing to limit their commitment to one another based on current feelings, instead of long-term commitment based on God’s design for marriage and His laws governing the duration and nature of the relationship. It also invites great temptation for sexual immorality, which includes sexual relations before marriage.

God wants your prayers answered so much that He even gives a formula in His Word. And like anything important to God, He doesn’t just share it once, but many times! Let’s take a look. John 15:7 (NASB): “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

There is a difference between being attracted to someone and being in love. Feelings are fickle. One day you can be whistling a happy tune and pleased as punch with your significant other, then the next day they annoy you when they chomp their food at the table. That’s why knowing whether you are in love is less important than knowing if you are spending time with the person God has chosen for you. This is a critical enough decision that it warrants prayer, fasting and listening for His still, small voice. He wants to help you with this important relationship!

Romans 12:3 says, “…God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (KJV). Every born-again child of God starts out with exactly the same measure of faith. So if you’re saved, you have the very faith of God already inside you! Isn’t that good news? Furthermore, the Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Thessalonica and said, “Your faith grows exceedingly” (2 Thessalonians 1:3, NKJV).  This means your faith can also grow exceedingly.  So, exactly how did their faith grow?

This is a test. If you remember anything from this answer, remember: This is only a test. The good news? You can pass with flying colors! You may feel like a victim right now, and that’s just what the devil wants you to think. On the contrary! You have the power. This is an opportunity for promotion. How you handle this situation will determine where God will take you next. The worldly response is to either lash back or cry in your pillow. But you’re a child of the Most High God! And you’ve been given all authority. So, here’s what you do instead.

When you’re married, you have the honor of knowing your spouse more intimately than anyone else. This means you know all their good habits and character traits, as well as the not-so-good habits and traits. You also know more about your spouse’s hopes, desires and dreams than most. For all these reasons and more, you have a unique prayer perspective that allows you to effectively stand in the gap for your spouse in prayer.

Water baptism is a declaration to the world around you that you’ve made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life, your old life is behind you, and you are a new creation in Christ. It symbolizes the transformation of your salvation.  A baby is unable to make this decision, which is why most Protestant churches conduct baby dedication ceremonies instead. During these ceremonies, the parents dedicate their child to the Lord and commit to raise him or her according to the Word of God. 

If you’re standing in faith for healing but sense a blockage to receiving, there are several hindrances to receiving healing to prayerfully consider.

The way back to fellowship with our heavenly Father is through the blood of Jesus. First John 1:9 says, “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” Your Father God loves you very much, and He has great things in store for your life. The Bible says the plans God has for you are for good and not evil, and they lead to the hope of a bright future (Jeremiah 29:11)!

The laying on of hands is when a believer places hands on another person to release the power of God for one of three purposes.

God’s will for His children is THE BLESSING—to be the lender and not the borrower, above only and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:12-13). But if you’ve found yourself in a tough financial spot, take heart; there is deliverance available for you.  If you’re in a place where a financial advisor has recommended that you file for bankruptcy, first and foremost seek the Lord, and if you feel a peace about moving forward, do so. But one thing is very important—watch your words.

No! Tongues are not of the devil. Peter spoke in tongues. Paul spoke in tongues. Something that is of the devil would not have been practiced and encouraged in the Word of God. That’s just a lie of the devil to keep you out of the good things that God has for you. The Apostle Paul said, “For if I pray in tongues, my spirit is praying” (1 Corinthians 14:14). We see here that the “I” who was doing the praying was Paul. He did the speaking in an unknown tongue, but his spirit did the praying.

In the Greek language the word confession means “saying the same thing.” Proverbs 18:21 tells us that death and life are in the power of the tongue, so it is critical that we learn to confess—or say—the same thing the Bible says because God’s will for us is only life and good! It also happens to be the way Abraham acquired the HUGE promises and BLESSINGS of God—calling things that be not as though they were. That means he was confessing what God had already told him was true. More importantly, Mark 11:23 tells us that we will have whatever we say.

The Bible speaks strongly and clearly against the sin of fornication, which is sexual intercourse outside of marriage. In fact, the Apostle Paul was strong in his writings about this (1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:9; Hebrews 13:4).

When you give, you should absolutely expect a return! It’s a promise in God’s Word (Luke 6:38; Malachi 3:10, Mark 4:20, 2 Corinthians 9:6). So, if you are a giver, you’re already on the right path to prosperity. But if something is blocking your way, you can take steps to clear the path to your blessing. Begin by considering some of the common roadblocks to receiving. 1.    Are you tithing?

The Church is precious to God, and your prayers make much power available to it. Here are some of the best ways to pray for your church. 1.    Find scriptures to stand on concerning the strength and unity of your church. It is critical that we stand on the Word when we go to the throne of grace. As you pray over your church, pray according to the Word of God. His Word never returns void.

Feelings of guilt, shame, regret, fear and unworthiness—usually stemming from a past mistake or experience—all fall under the category of condemnation. These past sins or experiences could have happened 10 years ago or 10 minutes ago. Anytime we miss the mark, and we all do from time to time, the enemy will try his best to bring condemnation on us. So, what are we to do? We are to believe and stand on the Word of God! When it comes to guilt, you can stand on Romans 8:1; Psalm 34:22; 1 John 1:9; Isaiah 43:25; and Psalm 103:10.
