God has a work for each member of the Body of Christ to fulfill. As each one does their part, the work of winning the lost for the Lord will get done, and then Jesus will return and take us to be with Him for eternity.Your spouse is an important part of this. We realize many times problems arise in a home where one spouse wants to actively serve God and the other does not. There seems to be no agreement and it is difficult. The temptation may come to give up and quit.

The Bible gives very clear instructions for receiving salvation. Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Kenneth Copeland has taught that there was a time in history when the whole Body of Christ was under a unique attack of the enemy. During that time, many believers received the anointing of God to endure martyrdom (dying for Jesus). He believes the anointing was there to experience this without pain.

The biblical promise of a hundredfold return is for sowing seed of any offering you give. But does it also apply to giving your tithe?Actually, the tithe is a specific commandment from the Lord and carries its own blessing with it. This is a blessing that is separate from the blessing we receive when we sow an offering, which is over and above the tithe:

He stated in Galatians 4:13, “You know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.” The two phrases we need to fully understand are “infirmity of the flesh” and “at the first.”

To answer whether polygamy is acceptable, we must go back to the beginning, before man sinned. The Bible says that when God instituted and ordained marriage, it took place between one man and one woman. When God created a helpmeet for Adam, He created one woman—not two, three or four—and He said that those two people would become one flesh (Genesis 2:21-24).

God will permit only what we permit. He has given us the right to choose—life or death, blessing or cursing (Deuteronomy 30:19). When God created man He created him in the image and likeness of God. Adam walked and talked with God and knew Him. God never required him to be sick to know Him. Adam never experienced sickness until he changed gods. Adam was the one who made the decision to disobey. He was not forced—he made the decision on his own.

We have great news! You have been made free by the blood of Jesus! John 8:36 says, “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”

Prayer that brings results must be based on God’s Word. It contains the answers to prayers we haven’t even prayed yet. Praying those answers from the beginning undergirds our confident expectation that God will do what He has said.Jesus said, “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” (John 15:7). At times it’s easy for us to forget how much God loves us and how much value we have in Him. When we lose sight of the greatness God has put on the inside of us, we can begin to make decisions based on a poor self-image. Those decisions cause many Christians to end up in bad relationships, having lost focus on protecting the special gifts God placed on the inside of them.

With the pressures and pain that can come in this earthly life, we can sometimes think it might be better to leave this world and go home to be with the Lord. Paul shares his feelings in Philippians 1:21, “For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.” He goes on to say, however, “But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better. I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.” (verses 22-24).

The Bible certainly teaches there is an unpardonable sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. But fearful thoughts of whether you have committed this sin are designed by the devil to keep you out of fellowship with God. Think about it: if you’re concerned about having committed the unpardonable sin, you’re proving by your concern you have not!But what about others? Time spent trying to judge whether another has committed the unpardonable sin removes you from the proper place of love and intercession for that person.

Every believer has been given faith. And that’s just part of the story. Jesus said for each believer, that measure is more than enough to move mountains (Mark 11:23)!There’s a lot of faith at our disposal the moment we are born again. So how do we develop ourselves to increasingly access faith for the challenges of everyday living? The Bible answers that question clearly: “So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ” (Romans 10:17). So to start the process, find out what God has said. Open your Bible and discover what belongs to you.

Harmless fun is certainly what many parents would label trick-or-treating and other Halloween observances. Some Christian parents are aware of a darker side to what presents itself as innocent fun. That’s why each year during Halloween, Christian parents may struggle between letting their children participate in what the world calls “harmless fun” and being led by their own concerns about the spiritual significance of Halloween. Even though Halloween can seem harmless, it does have dark pagan roots, and as believers we should never celebrate fear and terror. 

The whole kingdom of God operates according to the principles of planting, seedtime and harvest. The hundredfold return is God’s principle of return on your giving. What are you planting into the kingdom of God? Expect a hundredfold return on whatever you give, whether it be words, faith, money or any other seed you plant.

Certainly no man that has made Jesus Christ the Lord of his life can have both a demonic spirit and the Holy Spirit in his human spirit. The same man, however, may have a demonic spirit influencing his body and mind.
