How do I live in peace and curse-free in this world?
The Bible teaches clearly how to live curse-free. You can begin to renew your mind and think differently so you can cooperate with the ways of God and experience the fullness of THE BLESSING Jesus purchased for you.
Just follow the instructions God gave in verses like these:
“My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. When you walk, you won’t be held back; when you run, you won’t stumble. Take hold of my instructions; don’t let them go. Guard them, for they are the key to life” (Proverbs 4:10, 12-13).
How do I handle my spouse’s disgruntled ex?
Although it may be difficult, do your best not to engage with your spouse’s ex. Endeavor to keep past events in the past, and avoid being drawn into your spouse’s past issues. It is a good practice to pursue peace. Prayer is a very important foundation in the success of any marriage or remarriage.
It is also your responsibility to exhibit unconditional love. Don’t speak negatively about your spouse’s ex, especially in front of the children. And be a good listener when it comes to supporting your spouse.
How do you resolve conflict in a godly way?
It’s been said that 90 percent of conflict is rooted in misunderstanding.
If that’s the case, and it probably is, then conflict resolution is a matter of all parties sitting down and getting a good understanding of what happened!
Proverbs 13:15 says, “Good understanding gains favor, But the way of the unfaithful is hard.”
Good understanding and faithfulness are connected. Most conflicts arise because someone’s trust (faithfulness) has seemingly been violated.
Can I pray for my elderly loved one to pass away peacefully?
If your loved one has determined that it is time to go home to be with Jesus after a long and fulfilled life, then you can pray in agreement. However, if he or she wants to live longer, then it is not right for you to pray for the passing because it is not scriptural to pray for someone to die before they are ready.
Remember, death was never part of God’s original plan for mankind, and He has never stolen any man’s life. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). When God created man, He created him a free moral agent.
How can I overcome anxiety?
You can have peace in your mind and body. You don’t have to endure panic attacks, feelings of depression or sadness, mental and physical exhaustion, or worrisome thoughts. You can have peace, regardless of what is going on around you. Consider these steps for implementing God’s peace in your life.
Does suicide send someone to hell?
Some people assume that a person who commits suicide is doomed to eternal damnation in hell. But that’s not what Scripture teaches. Scripture says that the only sin that will send a person to hell is the rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 16:9). We should also remember that God does not want anyone going to hell but wants all people to have an opportunity to turn to him and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior (2 Peter 3:9).
What can I do when I feel like my faith is worn down?
Somewhere along the way, an unspoken rule was formed that says you must always have it together. Be perfect. Never feel weary in your faith. However, feeling out of energy or tired after a long fight of faith is nothing new. Maybe you’re there now. You don’t doubt where the Source of your life and victory is, yet you find yourself empty.
But one thing you must NEVER do is stay there.
How can I create a godly atmosphere in my home?
“Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches” –Proverbs 24:3-4 (NKJV).
If you desire to build a house like the one described above, there are some practical ways to start—and they all have to do with atmosphere.
How can I anoint my home with oil for protection?
One way to appropriate your faith for supernatural protection through the blood of Jesus and under the promise of Psalm 91 is to anoint your home with oil. Oil represents the power of the Holy Spirit and is a symbol of faith in God’s ability to cleanse and make holy. It is an act of consecrating your home to Him.
