Victory over Lack

Everywhere we turn, the headlines are screaming, “A recession is here! There’s supply chain trouble! Gas and food prices are skyrocketing!”

When the world is speaking doom and gloom, it should be an alarm to your spirit that it is time to begin using your faith and believe for the opposite results in your life. Because you have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21), you don’t have to be subject to what’s happening in this world.

Remember, God is your Source—not the world. But you have to take your victory by faith. One of the key fundamentals of faith is to call things that be not as though they were. To help you do this, speak aloud these 15 Scriptures to Claim Your Victory Over Lack. Do not back down, and as Brother Copeland often says, hold your ground with bulldog faith!

To start, put on the whole armor of God with these scriptures:

1. I put on God’s whole armor, that I may be able to resist and stand my ground on the evil day of danger, and having done all to stand, I stand, having girded my waist with truth (Ephesians 6:13-14). 2. I am on guard. I stand firm in the faith. I am courageous. I am strong (1 Corinthians 16:13). 3. God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

4. I am the righteous. Even though trouble may arise, the LORD delivers me from it all (Psalms 34:19).

5. I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. When my enemies turn back, they shall fall and perish at Your presence (Psalm 9:1-3 ).

Next, declare how God has marked you with BLESSINGS:

6. THE BLESSING of The LORD, it maketh rich, and He adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22).

7. Now the Lord will rescue me and make me both a symbol and a source of BLESSING. I am not afraid. I am strong (Zechariah 8:13). 8. People see clearly that the Lord is with me. I am THE BLESSED of the Lord (Genesis 26:28-29).

9. God, I thank and enjoy You. Let all people thank and enjoy You. Earth, display your exuberance! You mark me with blessing, O God, my God. You mark me with blessing, O God (Psalm 67:5-7).

10. Praise the LORD! Blessed am I who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments. My descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in my house, and my righteousness endures forever (Psalms 112:1-3).

Then, seize your victory: 11. My God supplies all my need according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). 12. Because I am willing and obedient, I shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19).

13. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but I seek the Lord and I shall not lack any good thing (Psalms 34:10).

14. I remember the Lord my God, for it is He who gives me the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to my ancestors, as it is today (Deuteronomy 8:18).

15. The Lord will open the heavens to me, the storehouse of his bounty, and send rain on my land in season, and bless all the work of my hands. I will lend to many nations but will borrow from none (Deuteronomy 28:12).

Repeat these scriptures daily to claim your victory over lack. Plant them deep within your spirit. Then, when trouble comes, you won’t respond with fear and panic. Instead, you’ll respond with the Word of God. These scriptures will rise out of you and mount heaven and angels to your defense. You will walk in wealth, not in poverty (Proverbs 10:22). No weapon formed, not even the economy, will come against you!
