QUESTION OF THE DAY

When Kenneth and Gloria started their journey of faith they had questions too—lots of them! So, we've compiled the most frequently asked questions by people like you—people who earnestly desire to find God's answers to the practical, real-life challenges of everyday living. We have a new question every day, so check back often!

Q: Do all faiths lead to God?

A:

The Bible is clear. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). This declaration by Jesus answers the question whether all faiths lead to God. Salvation can only be found in Jesus.

We believe this applies to all people. There is no confusion to what Jesus said. He is THE Way, THE Truth and THE Life. Acts 4:12 states, “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Mark 16:16 says, “Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.”

Another way the Bible answers this question is in terms of who may see the Father. It says the only way we can see the Father is through Jesus. Throughout the Bible we find evidence that no one (not even Abraham) was worthy of seeing the Father until after Jesus paid the price for sin.

He did this through His death on the cross. Afterward He preached of Himself and gave gifts to men (1 Peter 3:18-22, 4:6; Ephesians 4:8-10). We believe all men (regardless of their race or creed) must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:13-14).
