Question of the Day

When Kenneth and Gloria started their journey of faith they had questions too—lots of them! So, we've compiled the most frequently asked questions by people like you—people who earnestly desire to find God's answers to the practical, real-life challenges of everyday living. We have a new question every day, so check back often!

God has given us access to His wisdom in a number of ways. First, we have His Word. Even if the answer to our specific situation is not clearly outlined in the Bible, He will illuminate certain scriptures to give us a rhema (personalized) word about our own circumstances (Psalm 119:18, 104). He will also give us wisdom when we ask for it (James 1:5).

Prayer is another way He gives us access to His wisdom. When you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him. In seeking Him, He will bring answers to your questions. Sometimes, this will be during your prayer time, but often it will be at another time, when your heart and spirit are quiet and receptive. You can also receive an answer by praying in tongues. When we pray in tongues, we are allowing the Holy Spirit to pray for us, and it will unlock answers to questions we have and make clear His instructions to us.

Finally, God will send you the answer through your inward witness—which is a feeling you have in your spirit about a matter. It may come as a thought, or a peace or lack thereof. Learn to trust your inward witness and not question it or try to line it up with worldly logic. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth!
