Which Bible translation is best?

There is no perfect Bible translation, since man is involved in the translation from the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts. So, no matter which translation you use, you must personally be satisfied with it.

Start by finding a translation of the Bible you can understand. Kenneth and Gloria own many Bible translations and tools for study and reference purposes. Some of Kenneth and Gloria’s regularly used translations include the King James Version, The Amplified Bible and the New Living Translation

Am I too old to be useful in ministry?

You are never too old to be useful in ministry. Remember, your desire to minister comes from God, and He isn’t depending on your resources to complete the task. He will give you the power and the opportunities to fulfill that desire—regardless of your age. Philippians 2:13 says, “For it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you (energizing and creating in you the power and desire), both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.”

Events seemingly beyond natural explanation happen in all of our lives. But they are never God’s primary way of making His will known. He speaks through His Word and by His Spirit. That should always be the main focus of our attention.

As we grow in understanding of God’s Word, the Bible assures us that we can follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, who is our teacher and guide (John 14:26). When we seek His guidance we can be sure He will lead us into all truth.

Should Christians get involved with politics?

Not only does God intend for His people to be involved in the government, but He actually instituted a representative form of government. Exodus 18:21 says, “But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten.”

The higher powers of government are ordained of God, according to Romans 13. So how do we make sure those high offices are filled with godly men and women? By getting involved!
