Q: What is the best way to evangelize?

You don’t have to debate or fight or plead your case to evangelize. In fact, KCM’s Minister of Evangelism, Riley Stephenson, says that will actually hurt your cause. Instead, he recommends the following:
1. Share your personal experience with the Lord.
2. Share His Word. It never returns void.
3. Choose the right time. When people are working or busy is not the best time.
4. Avoid using Christian jargon.
5. Leave something in their hands. (A tract or booklet would work)
6. Be friendly and smile! Your demeanor is a testimony.
7. Live a holy life. For those you see regularly, this will go a long way.
8. Pray. (Acts 1:8) Move into a place of intercessory prayer for those you have shared or will share with.
Above all, don’t be afraid to give a reason for your hope. The Holy Spirit prepares hearts and gives you the words to speak. You don’t have to have the gift of evangelism to share Christ with others. We are all called to go into all the world (Mark 16:15). Expect the supernatural and start sharing!
