Question of the Day

When Kenneth and Gloria started their journey of faith they had questions too—lots of them! So, we've compiled the most frequently asked questions by people like you—people who earnestly desire to find God's answers to the practical, real-life challenges of everyday living. We have a new question every day, so check back often!

Psalm 127:3 says, “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,   the fruit of the womb a reward” (ESV). Deuteronomy 28:11 also tells of the blessing of children for those who obey God.

In other words, one of God’s promises to you is the blessing of children. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy; and often, we have to fight the good fight of faith to receive every promise. You can pray and stand in faith for children! As you do, listen to the Holy Spirit for instruction and correction. He will lead and guide you into all truth.

There may be an area of physical healing that can only take place after you have forgiven someone or let go of deep insecurities from your past. He may instruct you to see a particular doctor or take a step of faith by blessing other parents with babysitting or another type of ministry. Whatever it takes, God wants to get you there. So, press in and tune in.

In the meantime, Gloria Copeland has shared this with hopeful moms-in-waiting:

“Stop seeing yourself childless. Start seeing yourself sitting with Jesus in heavenly places. That's where God sees you. He's all the time trying to get us to receive what He's already given us. But He's not going to change. He is not going to change for you. If you're going to receive, you're going to have to believe His Word, and take it by faith. And faith is what opens the door, just as it did for Abraham.”

Psalm 113:9 says, “He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children” (KJV). And Exodus 23:26 promises that “none shall lose her young by miscarriage or be barren in your land” (AMPC).

God’s Word always reveals His will, and as you make these scriptures part of your prayer life, you can pray confidently for a child of your own. For we are assured in 1 John 5:14-15 that “if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him” (NKJV).
