Is there a scripture I can stand on for finding a lost item?

Yes, there is.

Mark 4:22 tells us “For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light.” The primary purpose of this verse is to encourage believers to release their faith and believe God to reveal His Word, the truth in circumstances in their lives and to expose the tactics and schemes of Satan.

Psalm 119:130 gives further insight into how this works: “The entrance of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” As we meditate on and confess the Word of God, His Word will enlighten our inward man (Proverbs 20:27) concerning life’s situations and bring out into the open the hidden things of darkness.

Coupled together, those verses reveal the heart of God and His plan to restore to us things we have lost or the enemy has kept hidden from us. So included in Mark 4:22 is the promise of help finding articles that are lost and people that are lost or have been kidnapped, and to expose tactics of deception used against you by the enemy.
