Question of the Day

When Kenneth and Gloria started their journey of faith they had questions too—lots of them! So, we've compiled the most frequently asked questions by people like you—people who earnestly desire to find God's answers to the practical, real-life challenges of everyday living. We have a new question every day, so check back often!

Debt-free living is certainly God’s best!

There is no question that it is God’s will for you to live debt free. His Word says He will make you the head and not the tail…and bless all the work of your hands…and you will lend and NOT borrow (Deuteronomy 28:12-13). That means He will help you get there!

On becoming debt-free, Gloria Copeland says, “You are only one decision away from debt freedom.”

In other words, making the decision to either become or stay debt free is the first and biggest step toward achieving your goal. It may not seem like it’s in your control to even make that decision. It may seem like money is the one calling the shots. But that’s just a lie of the devil. YOU have dominion—you have control by the authority and grace of God. Now it’s up to you to make a quality decision to live debt free for the rest of your life.

For a practical game plan, check out this 10-step plan to become (and stay) debt free, put together by our own Pastor George Pearsons. And for more help and encouragement, read our debt freedom blog post HERE.

Once you put these steps into practice, begin to see yourself debt free. Pray for wisdom in the area of financial stewardship, and expect God to show up in a supernatural way. And be sure you never speak against your debt freedom again. Speak words of debt freedom, financial abundance and blessing!
