Living by faith in God's Word is the best decision Kenneth and Gloria ever made. They have been at it a long time now, and can say that without hesitation.
Over the past 45 years, God has answered their every prayer of faith. He's given them everything they have believed for. Although they’ve faced challenges and gone through some tough times, they have never lacked for anything. They’ve been absolutely, completely BLESSED!
That’s the reason they never get tired of preaching. They want everyone everywhere to get in on the faith life.
There are some people, however, who don't share their enthusiasm.
"Those Copelands are fanatics!" they say. "They think they can have whatever the Bible promises just because they believe it. That's crazy!"
Maybe those people have heard erroneous reports about the faith message. Maybe someone told them God doesn't keep His promises today. But whatever their reasons for turning down the opportunity, Kenneth and Gloria have made it their life mission to convince them all that living by faith in the Word isn't crazy—it's great!
Faith will heal your body. It will straighten out your children. It will cause your finances to flourish. Faith will remove limitations and conquer anything the world can throw at you because, as 1 John 5:4 says, "This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith" (KJV).
It's no wonder God said:
" A righteous person will live by faith. (Hebrews 10:38)
" Have faith in God [constantly]. (Mark 11:22, The Amplified Bible)
" It is impossible to please God without faith. (Hebrews 11:6)
As far as God is concerned, faith is non-negotiable!
Why? Because we don't receive like He wants us to without it...and our receiving is extremely important to Him! After all, He sent Jesus to the cross to take upon Himself the whole curse—every sickness, every disease, all poverty and every other kind of defeat…so that we could be BLESSED. He paid the price of His own blood to purchase our salvation, our deliverance, our healing and our prosperity. He sacrificed His own Son to provide us with abundant life—and the only way for us to fully receive it is by faith!
So, anyone can just “leave it up to God," but they will miss out on a lot because that's not the way He designed things to work. As one preacher says, "We can't leave up to God what He has left up to us." And He gave us the responsibility of receiving His blessings by faith.
