Question of the Day

When Kenneth and Gloria started their journey of faith they had questions too—lots of them! So, we've compiled the most frequently asked questions by people like you—people who earnestly desire to find God's answers to the practical, real-life challenges of everyday living. We have a new question every day, so check back often!

Brother Copeland is on a mission to live a full life of 120 years! In Psalm 91, God promises His children long life, which He told us in Genesis 6:3 is 120 years.
He is using his faith to get there. He has impressed many with his 50+ pushups on stage at Victory Campaigns, running up and down stairs at age 85, and holding a three-minute plank! Plus, his mind is as sharp as a tack!

So, what is his secret?

  • He eats a healthy, balanced diet and avoids foods on the list of prohibited foods in Leviticus. He doesn’t live under the law; he simply uses it as a guide for good eating choices.
  • He exercises regularly—both cardio and weight training.
  • He works his mind continually. He reads, studies and even goes through the rigorous requirements to keep his pilot’s license!
  • He stays busy and active.
  • He stays out of strife. The Word of God is clear that unforgiveness, anger and bitterness are damaging to your spirit, soul and body. His relationships with top neurosurgeons and neuroscientists have confirmed the same. Brother Copeland takes walking in love very seriously and works diligently to honor the Lord in this way. He even stays away from social media where strife seems rampant.
  • He gets proper rest. Lack of sleep harms your immune system, so he is determined to take care of himself through rest and refreshing.
  • He rejoices in the Lord! The joy of the Lord is your strength, laughter is good medicine, and gratitude is proven to be a trait of those who live to be 100 or more.

Brother Copeland is an inspiration to so many, and we hope he is to you, as well! No matter how long you’re aiming to live (and it should be a long time!), you can put these and other principles into practice and lay claim to the promises in Psalm 91 yourself.
