Question of the Day

When Kenneth and Gloria started their journey of faith they had questions too—lots of them! So, we've compiled the most frequently asked questions by people like you—people who earnestly desire to find God's answers to the practical, real-life challenges of everyday living. We have a new question every day, so check back often!

There is no question that it is God’s will for you to live long and strong on the earth. It’s a promise He makes to His people again and again!

If you’re a believer in Jesus, you don’t have to slowly deteriorate in your mind and body, walking hunched over, suffering from age-related ailments, and living under the care of others. You don’t have to die young!

The Word of God has promised you long life, strength and health all your days. And…He has also told us how.

1. Obedience to God’s Word. Obeying God’s Word is directly tied to a long, health and happy life. It’s been proven by science time and again. Strife, fear, anxiety, stress and unforgiveness are all linked to disease, and they all happen to be sin, as well. So, keep your life in line with His instructions and you’ll live a long and happy life! (Ephesians 6:1-3; Psalm 91:1, 16; Proverbs 3:1-2; Proverbs 3:13-16)

2. Speaking Words of Life and Health. The Bible is clear about the power of words (Proverbs 18:21; Mark 11:23-24), so don’t speak words of aging or illness, even if they seem true right now. Be like Abraham and call those things that be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). Before you know it, they will be true in your life. (Try Kenneth Copeland’s Confessions for Youth Renewal HERE)

3. Take Natural Steps. To be a good steward of the physical body God has given you, it’s important to eat right, exercise and get plenty of rest. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

You can live a long and happy life.  It is included in THE BLESSING of Abraham, which is yours in Christ Jesus. Put your faith to work right now and say, “I receive the benefit of long life today!”
