What is the true Church?

The true Church cannot be found by comparing one denomination, church group or ministry to another. The simple answer is the Body of Christ is the true Church (Ephesians 1:22-23). When a person makes Jesus Christ his Lord, he becomes a part of the Body of Christ (Romans 10:9-10).

The Church is characterized by the fivefold ministry listed in Ephesians 4:11-16 for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the building up of the Body of Christ until the entire Body could come into the unity of the faith. There are ministries across this entire country preaching the uncompromised gospel without apology.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries does not make comparisons of different churches. We believe this would show poor Christian character to compare one church or denomination to another. It is not the church or denomination that God honors, it is the person who walks by faith and stands on His Word (Hebrews 11:6). Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
