Everyone experiences challenging days from time to time. You get a flat tire. Your boss is in a bad mood. You sit in traffic so long that you miss an appointment. When you’re having a bad day, it helps to be reminded that God is on your side and that you are one of God’s beloved kids. That’s right, your Dad thinks you’re special!

So if you’ve had a bad day today, sit back and let these scriptures remind you of just what your Heavenly Father promises you.

Deuteronomy 31:6: So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.
Psalm 55:22: Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
Zephaniah 3:17: For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.
1 John 5:4: For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.
Romans 8:37-39: In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Don’t let a bad day distract you from God’s blessings. You are loved. You are not alone. God delights in you. You are victorious. In fact, you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. So be encouraged and have a good day!
