Fear Not: 10 Declarations of Supernatural Faith

Fear Not: 10 Declarations of Supernatural Faith

Why does Jesus say, “Fear not!”? Isn’t some fear justified?

Fear is not just an emotion. It’s a weapon the devil uses to torment people. Fear paralyzes, steals joy and keeps you from walking in what God has planned for you. Jesus’ answer to the dart of fear is, “Fear not” (Luke 8:50, KJV)

God’s plan is for you to be free from fear. He says, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

Fear is the opposite of faith in God. Where fear expects the bad, faith expects the good. Where fear opens the door to the enemy, faith opens the door to God’s power. When you speak faith-filled words instead of fearful ones, you release God’s power to work on your behalf.

Below are 10 declarations of supernatural faith to speak aloud daily. As you speak them, fear will lose its grip and your faith will grow strong.

1. I Refuse Fear

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV).

Make this declaration: “I refuse fear because fear doesn’t come from God. I am filled with God’s power, His love and a sound mind. I have the mind of Christ and hold His thoughts, intents and purposes for my life.”

2. I Dwell In God’s Protection

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1).

Say it boldly: “I live in the supernatural protection of Psalm 91 because I abide in God. He is my safe place. I trust Him. He protects me from the evil one. His angels are encamped around me.”

3. The Greater One Lives In Me

“The Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world” (1 John 4:4).
Say it with confidence: “The greater One lives in me. His supernatural power is stronger than any attack of the enemy. I overcome through the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony.”

4. My Words Release Life

“The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences” (Proverbs 18:21).

Say it because you know it is true: “My words carry God’s power. I choose to declare life, not fear. I am led by the Spirit of God in what I say to myself and others. My words line up with God’s Word and bring life to every situation.

5. I Am Strong In the Lord

“Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power” (Ephesians 6:10).

Say it because you mean it: “I am strong in the Lord. His supernatural strength overcomes every weakness in me. I go from strength to strength and glory to glory. I can do all things through Christ.”

6. I Am Redeemed From the Curse

“Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When He was hung on the cross, He took upon Himself the curse for our wrongdoing” (Galatians 3:13).

Make this declaration: “I am redeemed from every curse. Fear, sickness and lack have no hold on me. I walk in health and healing because Jesus bought and paid for them on the cross.”

7. I Live In Peace, Not Fear

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid” (John 14:27).

Say it boldly: “I live in God’s supernatural peace. My heart is not troubled, and I refuse to be afraid. I walk in the peace of God. God’s peace guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.”

8. I Walk by Faith, Not by Sight

“For we live by believing and not by seeing” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Say it with confidence: “I live by faith, not fear. I trust God’s promises more than what I see. I trust God by looking in His Word, knowing that I can count on what He says there. He will never leave me nor forsake me.”

9. I Am More Than a Conqueror

“Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us” (Romans 8:37).

Say it because you know it is true: “I am more than a conqueror. I supernaturally win every time because God loves me. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.”

10. Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

“Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear” (1 John 4:18).

Say it because you mean it: “I receive the love God has for me because God is love. I meditate on the love God has for me and God’s love fills me and drives out all fear.”

These 10 declarations of supernatural faith are not just words—they are declarations of truth, rooted in the promises of God. As you speak them over yourself each day, you are building your own faith, as “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” Romans 10:17, NKJV). As you shape your heart and mind, you will be able to take captive the fear-filled thoughts that are not of God and FEAR NOT.
