A Confession to Live Above Only and Not Beneath

It’s not just a memory verse to quote at church.

You can do what Deuteronomy 28 says and live life always at the top and never at the bottom—as the head and not the tail. Living above only and not beneath is a lifestyle YOU are meant to live—every day, in every part of your life. If that hasn’t been the case, it’s time to make a change.

Your words will get you there or hold you back, so choose wisely! Begin today with this confession to live above only and not beneath.

In the Name of Jesus, I declare….

I am blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

I am the head and not the tail in my finances, my family, my health, my job and my ministry—not just sometimes, but all the time. Every day, in every way, I am the head and not the tail. I don’t have to beg for promotions or raises. They are given to me.

My marriage is blessed, my children are blessed, my home is blessed. Our relationships are strong and defy every attack of the enemy. There is a supernatural love and warmth present in our home. No weapon formed against our family will prosper.

My work is blessed. I am always at the top. I receive promotions and raises that are supernatural. They come on far more quickly and more frequently than what anyone would normally expect. I have supernatural and amazing opportunities given to me.

My business is abundantly blessed. I receive contracts and deals that supersede anything I could ever imagine. God is working mightily in my business, and I am at the TOP of my industry every day in every way. I break records and receive increase year after year.

My ministry is booming! I receive supernatural opportunities and income. I am reaching far more people than I ever imagined possible. I am living at the TOP. I am above criticism, not beneath. I am above recessions, not beneath. I am above unfair treatment, not beneath.

Everyone who rises against me will be defeated. They will come at me from one direction but flee from me in seven. Every tongue that rises against me will be shown to be in the wrong.

Everything I put my hand to prospers and succeeds. God is opening the windows of heaven for me. He is sending rain on my land and my life in season to bless all the work of my hands. I will lend to many, but I will not borrow. I am always at the top and never at the bottom.

I fully obey the Lord my God and carefully follow all His commands. I do this knowing that it is the only way to receive what I have just declared. I declare that God’s Word is alive in me and giving me wisdom beyond my own ability to walk in His ways and be pleasing to Him.

Get in the habit of speaking these kinds of confessions to live above only and not beneath everywhere you go—on your way to work, when you’re working in the yard—continually. Train yourself to be an above-only, not a beneath-kind of thinker. Then, expect to be at the top in every area of your life—always.

Watch Kenneth Copeland share why your words control your life.
