We have dominion on the Earth! Given by God to mankind from the beginning (Genesis 1), our dominion is not to rule over other people; but instead, we are meant to have authority over every situation—physical, financial, emotional and spiritual. Most Christians do not boldly take their place in a position of dominion because it is little-preached or -studied. (See more about financial dominion HERE.)

All scriptures are taken from the New King James Version, unless otherwise noted.

1. Genesis 1:26 (NLT)
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

2. Genesis 1:28 (KJV)
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

3. Genesis 27:40 (KJV)
And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

4. Judges 5:13 (KJV)
Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.

5. Job 25:2
Dominion and fear belong to Him; He makes peace in His high places.

6. Psalm 8:6
You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.

7. Psalm 19:13
Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me.

8. Psalm 49:14
Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling.

14. Ephesians 1:17-21
