10 Scriptures To Build Your Faith for Your Vision

God wants you to have a vision for your life! He wants you to see in your heart and mind what He wants you to do, and where He wants you to go. It’s a practice and a pattern we see all throughout the Bible. God repeatedly gave His people dreams and visions…to encourage, direct and guide them…to lead them to safety…to assure them of His protection…to show them their future for the short-term and over the course of many years. Dreams and visions were tools God used to communicate with His people. What’s more, it’s something that God is still doing today. That’s right, God is still giving His people dreams and visions! He’s still putting desires in our hearts that He wants to fulfill (Proverbs 3:5-6, 37).

What has God put in your heart to do? What has He envisioned for you to accomplish in your lifetime? If it can be backed by the Word and the principles of God’s Word, then that is something God wants for your life. That is His will for you. That is His vision for you. And whatever it is, it will take faith—because everything in this life requires faith. “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV).

To help you walk in God’s vision for your life, consider these 10 Scriptures To Build Your Faith for Your Vision. To help you further, we’ve also provided a confession at the end using these verses that you can pray and declare over your life.

Father, You said that where there is no vision, the people perish, so I’m asking You to give me a vision for my life and confirm it with Your Word. You promised in these last days that You would pour out Your Spirit on me, that You would show me remarkable secrets about things to come. As You do, I commit to writing Your dreams and visions for my life. Thank You for planning so many things for my life so long ago. Thank You for completing everything that You’ve begun in my life, for every plan and every purpose for my future. Lord, Your plans and purposes will prevail in my life. Your plans will succeed. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
