Real Help Topic: Speak

Around every corner, behind every bush, in every shadow or passing thought, fear–anxiety about something or someone–can try to get your attention. It can be something as simple as what to wear, getting the kids off to school, or what to have for dinner. It can be as life-altering as packing for a big move or being in an accident.

Good news! You don’t have to be held hostage to the fear of anything or anyone any longer. It’s possible for a believer to experience freedom from fear with the power of faith. You can literally talk your way out of fear by speaking freedom, because your words have power.

God’s Word is truth, and it not only frees us from fear, but it also builds within us courage and strength (Joshua 1:7-9). There is a catch, however, to enjoying this freedom Jesus promised. You have to believe that God means what He says and that this freedom is for you–that’s faith!

Experience freedom from fear with these 10 scriptures !

  1. “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32, NKJV).

God’s Word will make me free if I believe and speak it.

  2. “If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36, NKJV).

The Son makes me free; therefore, I am totally free from all fear.

  3. “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1, NKJV).

I am free forever; I refuse any type of bondage.

  4. “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17).

God’s Spirit is in me; therefore, I am free from fear.

  5. “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters” (Galatians 5:13). “Don’t slip back into your old ways of living” (1 Peter 1:14).

I am called to live in freedom, and I do not slip back into my old ways of living in fear.

  6. “I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments” (Psalm 119:45).

I walk in freedom from all fear because I have devoted myself to God’s Word.

  7. “Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight–something the law of Moses could never do” (Acts 13:38-49).

I acknowledge Jesus as my Savior and devote myself to Him (God’s Word ), therefore I am cleared and freed from all fear.

  8. “But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life” (Romans 6:22).

I am free from the power of sin and fear. I only do those things that lead to holiness and godliness in Christ.

  9. “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death” (Romans 8:1-2).

I do not walk according to fear, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin, death and all fear.

  10. “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

I will not fear because God is my God and He is with me.

You no longer have to be held hostage to fear. You can experience freedom from fear with the power of faith. Remember: God got you out from under fear’s oppression, and He will keep you in His ways. Faith in Him will eliminate all possible room for fear!

Why does Jesus say, “Fear not!”? Isn’t some fear justified?

Fear is not just an emotion. It’s a weapon the devil uses to torment people. Fear paralyzes, steals joy and keeps you from walking in what God has planned for you. Jesus’ answer to the dart of fear is, “Fear not” (Luke 8:50, KJV)

God’s plan is for you to be free from fear. He says, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

Fear is the opposite of faith in God. Where fear expects the bad, faith expects the good. Where fear opens the door to the enemy, faith opens the door to God’s power. When you speak faith-filled words instead of fearful ones, you release God’s power to work on your behalf.

Below are 10 declarations of supernatural faith to speak aloud daily. As you speak them, fear will lose its grip and your faith will grow strong.

1. I Refuse Fear

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV).

Make this declaration: “I refuse fear because fear doesn’t come from God. I am filled with God’s power, His love and a sound mind. I have the mind of Christ and hold His thoughts, intents and purposes for my life.”

2. I Dwell In God’s Protection

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1).

Say it boldly: “I live in the supernatural protection of Psalm 91 because I abide in God. He is my safe place. I trust Him. He protects me from the evil one. His angels are encamped around me.”

3. The Greater One Lives In Me

“The Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world” (1 John 4:4).
Say it with confidence: “The greater One lives in me. His supernatural power is stronger than any attack of the enemy. I overcome through the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony.”

4. My Words Release Life

“The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences” (Proverbs 18:21).

Say it because you know it is true: “My words carry God’s power. I choose to declare life, not fear. I am led by the Spirit of God in what I say to myself and others. My words line up with God’s Word and bring life to every situation.

5. I Am Strong In the Lord

“Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power” (Ephesians 6:10).

Say it because you mean it: “I am strong in the Lord. His supernatural strength overcomes every weakness in me. I go from strength to strength and glory to glory. I can do all things through Christ.”

6. I Am Redeemed From the Curse

“Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When He was hung on the cross, He took upon Himself the curse for our wrongdoing” (Galatians 3:13).

Make this declaration: “I am redeemed from every curse. Fear, sickness and lack have no hold on me. I walk in health and healing because Jesus bought and paid for them on the cross.”

7. I Live In Peace, Not Fear

“I am leaving you with a gift–peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid” (John 14:27).

Say it boldly: “I live in God’s supernatural peace. My heart is not troubled, and I refuse to be afraid. I walk in the peace of God. God’s peace guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.”

8. I Walk by Faith, Not by Sight

“For we live by believing and not by seeing” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Say it with confidence: “I live by faith, not fear. I trust God’s promises more than what I see. I trust God by looking in His Word, knowing that I can count on what He says there. He will never leave me nor forsake me.”

9. I Am More Than a Conqueror

“Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us” (Romans 8:37).

Say it because you know it is true: “I am more than a conqueror. I supernaturally win every time because God loves me. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.”

10. Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

“Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear” (1 John 4:18).

Say it because you mean it: “I receive the love God has for me because God is love. I meditate on the love God has for me and God’s love fills me and drives out all fear.”

These 10 declarations of supernatural faith are not just words–they are declarations of truth, rooted in the promises of God. As you speak them over yourself each day, you are building your own faith, as “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” Romans 10:17, NKJV). As you shape your heart and mind, you will be able to take captive the fear-filled thoughts that are not of God and FEAR NOT.

Tithing is more than just giving 10% of your income to God, it’s a spiritual covenant that connects you to His BLESSING. But the power of tithing doesn’t stop when you give, it continues based on what you speak over your tithe!

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” When you declare God’s Word over your tithe, you are releasing faith that activates His promises of protection, provision and increase.

Here are five declarations to speak over your tithe.

Declaration 1: Speak Over Your Tithe That God Is Your Source

“Lord, I honor You with my tithe. You are my Source, not my job, not the economy and not people. I trust You completely to provide for me.”

Philippians 4:19: “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”

Declaration 2: Speak Over Your Tithe That the Windows of Heaven Are Open Over You

“Because I tithe, the windows of heaven are open over my life. Blessings are pouring out that I don’t have room to contain!”

Malachi 3:10: “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in!”

Declaration 3: Speak Over Your Tithe That the Devourer Is Rebuked

“The enemy cannot steal from me. My health, family, finances and work are protected. The devourer is rebuked for my sake!”

Malachi 3:11, (NKJV): “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground.”

Declaration 4: Speak Over Your Tithe That Your Harvest Is Multiplying

“I have a harvest on every seed I sow. I expect abundance, opportunities and increase to flow into my life.”

Proverbs 3:9-10, (NKJV): “Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”

Declaration 5: Speak Over Your Tithe That You Are a Testimony of God’s Goodness

“Others will see the blessing on my life and call me blessed. My life is a witness of God’s faithfulness.”

Malachi 3:12: “‘Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight,’ says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.”

Final Encouragement

Speak God’s Word over your tithe each time you give. Your tithe is holy and your words of faith release the power of the tithe in your life.

Take these declarations, make them your own and speak them boldly. As you do, you’ll step deeper into the joy and power of the tithing covenant!

Anyone who watches the weather has heard of or even been affected by storms. Whether it’s thunder and lightning, or something much more severe like a tornado or hurricane, you can stop living in fear! You can speak to the storm and cast out fear.

God’s Word gives several accounts of the disciples facing actual storms.

In Matthew 14:22-33, Jesus insisted His disciples cross the lake without Him because He was going to the countryside to pray. As night fell and the disciples were in the boat, a storm arose, and they became terrified. They looked out over the water and saw Jesus walking on the water! They were shocked! They did not expect to see that!

Jesus then said to them, “Don’t be afraid.” He was trying to help them cast out fear.

In another account in Mark 4:35-41, Jesus was in the boat and said to the disciples, “Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” As they were crossing the lake, a fierce storm came up and high winds were breaking into the boat, causing it to fill with water.

Jesus was asleep in the back of the boat. Some of the men in the boat were professional, experienced fishermen, so when they were afraid the boat would capsize, they believed it was a real possibility.

They woke Jesus saying, “Master, don’t You care that we are perishing?” The Bible tells us that Jesus got up and spoke to the storm. He said, “Peace! Be still!” and there was a great calm. For that moment, the disciples were completely living in fear. Wouldn’t you?

Jesus had been teaching the multitudes, including the disciples, how to use their faith to defeat every problem. Then, they had the opportunity to use what they had learned. However, fear kept them from speaking in faith to the storm. They forgot what they had heard. Even then, Jesus delivered them.

What storms or troubles do you face?

  • Betrayal or rejection by a friend
  • Sickness or disease
  • Loss of a job
  • Disappointments in life

The storms of life come to us all. No one is excluded from trouble (John 16:33). Jesus said, “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.” (Luke 10:19).

Questions may come to you, such as:

  • Does God have the power to help me?
  • Does His Word have instructions I can follow to get out of the storm?
  • Can I stand up and use my God-given authority to speak to the storm and cast out fear?

The answers to all these questions should be based on God’s Word: “Yes!

Amid the storm of sickness, you can exercise your authority and declare by faith, “Jesus bore my sickness, and He was bruised for my healing, so I don’t have to endure it (Isaiah 53:5). I believe God’s Word, and I demand this sickness leave my body immediately in Jesus’ Name.” Use your authority in Christ to defeat sickness.

Other storms, such as the betrayal of a friend, the loss of a loved one, or major disappointments, can involve a myriad of situations and people. You don’t have authority over people, but you do have authority over the principalities and powers influencing you through other people (Ephesians 6:12).

Whatever storm you may be facing in life, whether you feel like Jesus is sitting in your boat or is somewhere far off, you can look at the raging waves around you and choose to speak to the storm to cast out fear!

The world around you tries hard to convince you of what you are not, then offers you many options to become significant. Most people spend their whole lives seeking places, positions and things that will make them feel significant, worthy or special.

You are worthy, special and accepted in Christ! When you speak these 20 Declarations To Assure You of Who You Are in Christ, you are reminding yourself of who you are in Christ and of your place in God’s heart!

As an American, you have many wonderful liberties such as freedom of speech and freedom of religion. You also have responsibilities like paying taxes and abiding by the laws of the land. In addition to these things, as a Christian, you have a responsibility to pray.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 says, “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.”

One of the most effective ways you can pray for those in authority is to pray and declare God’s Word over various sectors of America. These 21 Confessions To Speak Over America are divided into seven specific areas you can target with your faith, inviting God to work in each area.

Government

1.    God controls the course of world events, puts America’s leaders in place, and removes them as He wills (Daniel 2:21).
2.    America’s government is on the shoulders of Jesus–a government of peace, justice and righteousness (Isaiah 9:6-7, AMPC).
3.    America submits to her governing authorities, doing what’s right–which includes paying taxes (Romans 13:1-7).

Military

4.    America’s victories are not by might or power, but by God’s Spirit (Zechariah 4:6-7).
5.    America does not boast in military might, but in the Lord (Judges 7:2; Psalm 20:7; Jeremiah 9:23-24; 1 Corinthians 1:31).
6.    America’s military leaders seek God’s direction (1 Samuel 30:1-8).

Media

7.    Good news is published throughout America, and the people receive and believe it (Jonah 3:5-7).

14.    America’s children are taught by God and great is their peace and prosperity (Isaiah 54:13, TPT).
15.    America’s children are trained in the ways of God, and they do not depart from them (Proverbs 22:6).

Church

16.    The Church in America grows up into Christ in all things, attaining unity of faith and the full measure of the stature of Jesus and His Anointing (Ephesians 4:13).
17.    The Church in America gathers together with united purpose, constantly praising God and having favor with all people–and the Lord keeps adding to her number daily (Acts 2:46-47, AMPC).
18.    All believers in America lift their voices together in prayer–and things are shaken, people are filled with the Holy Spirit, and God’s Word is proclaimed with boldness (Acts 4:24-31).

Family

19.    America is a great nation, and through her all the families of the earth are blessed (Genesis 12:2-3).

Have you ever heard the expression, “Garbage in…garbage out”? Computer programmers have used the phrase to explain that the quality of data that’s programmed into a computer is the same quality of results you can expect to come out.

What’s the quality level you’re getting out of your life? Are you pleased? Satisfied? Disappointed? Not feeling quite there?

Ultimately, you are the programmer, or the prophet, of your own life. The prophet Jeremiah said, “[God’s] words were found and I ate them, and [God’s] words became a joy to me and the delight of my heart” (Jeremiah 15:16, NASB). Jeremiah “ate” God’s words; he put them in his mouth by speaking them and wonderful, powerful things happened.

God’s design is that you get to declare the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). And while a lot of people may have downloaded low-quality data into your life by speaking negatively about you, you are the one who gets to decide what your life produces.

So, if you’re wanting more “good stuff” coming out of your life, start with reprogramming your mind by inputting these 25 Powerful Confessions To Speak Over Yourself in five key areas of your life.

19.    “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” -1 John 5:14 (NKJV)

20.    “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.” -1 John 5:20 (NKJV)

Have you ever encountered what felt like a giant in your life? A problem of epic proportions? One that felt utterly overwhelming and left you thinking you had no way to overcome it? Giants can come against you in countless ways, but their No. 1 goal will always be the same: they are from the enemy and designed to intimidate you with fear so they can defeat you.

David faced a giant like that once. That giant’s name was Goliath, but David knew exactly what to do, because he had a covenant with God that came with power and promises–and so do you. Giants are no match for the resurrection power of God living on the inside of you. Whatever giant you are facing, identify it and find it in the list below; declare 10 Confessions To Defeat the Giants In Your Life and watch the giant fall.

Giant #1: Unforgiveness

Because God has forgiven me–over and over again–I freely and easily forgive others–over and over again. I forgive as many times as it takes–even 70 times seven. I am quick to forgive. I take no offense. I am so given to forgiving, that I don’t even notice offenses when they occur. I always think the best of others (Matthew 6:14, 18:22; Ephesians 1:7).

Giant #2: Flesh

I am God-inside minded, so much so, that I am fully aware that greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. God lives big on the inside of me, so I see through the lens of His Word, His perspectives and what His Spirit guides me to do. I don’t allow my flesh to dominate me. I am led by the Spirit of God (Romans 8:5-17; 1 Corinthians 2:16).

Giant #3: Sickness

I am healed. My body is healed. My mind is healed. Every organ functions as God created it to function. When I eat, my food is blessed, and it nourishes my body. I take God’s Word like medicine, and it is strength to my bones. I walk in divine health (Exodus 15:26; Psalm 34:19-20; Proverbs 4:20-24; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14-15).

Giant #4: Hate

God is love and He loves me. I imitate God and walk in love toward others. I love others like God loves them. I love unconditionally and faithfully. When people encounter me, they encounter the love of God. I speak the truth of God’s Word in love because the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. The love of God controls and urges me (Ephesians 4:15, 5:1-2; 1 John 4:7-8, 4:16).

Giant #5: Ungratefulness

I give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for me in Christ Jesus. I don’t worry about anything; instead, I pray about everything. I tell God what I need and thank Him for all He has done. Because of that, I receive the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. His peace guards my heart and mind as I live in Christ. I choose to fix my thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely and admirable. I am God conscious and view my life through His perspective, being grateful in ALL circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18; Philippians 4:6-8).

Giant #6: Poverty

God gives me the ability to prosper. I am a tither; therefore the windows of heaven are open over my life and the devourer is rebuked. Blessings are pouring out. I have all I need today and every day–and more left over to give into every good work (Deuteronomy 28:13; Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:8-10).

Giant #7: Ignorance

God has made known to me all wisdom and spiritual understanding. In every situation, I know what to do because the Spirit of Wisdom lives on the inside me. He counsels me, shows me which way to go, what decisions to make, and where to spend my time. I am never without wisdom (Ephesians 1:8; Colossians 1:9).

Giant #8: Discouragement

I am an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. Therefore, I face every giant I come up against with the power of Jesus and in the knowledge of what His blood bought and paid for me. I rise up high above negative situations, seeing them for what they are–works of the enemy to throw me off course, discourage me, deceive me or defeat me. But I cannot be defeated, and I will not quit. I can’t because that’s not who I am–I am an overcomer (2 Corinthians 4:8; Revelation 12:11).

Giant #9: Fear

I have victory in every area of my life, particularly over fear. God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I am strong in spirit. I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. I will not fear. When fear comes against me, I resist it in the Name of Jesus. I choose to put my trust in God (Psalm 56:3-4; 2 Timothy 1:7).

Giant #10: Failure

God is always at work in me, causing me to triumph. Overwhelming victory is mine through Jesus. The Lord commands the blessing upon me in my storehouses and in all that I undertake. He blesses me in the land which He gives me. His mercy and goodness follow me all the days of my life (Psalm 23:6; Romans 8:37; Deuteronomy 28:8).

Giants are never a match for the resurrection power of God living inside you. They are no match for you when you release the power of God’s Word by confessing it in faith. Keep speaking 10 Confessions To Defeat the Giants In Your Life and watch your giants fall!

The reality is that at Christmas you often see family members you haven’t seen in a while, and although that can be special, it can also be stressful. Often, the family discussions can bring disagreement. Before you let your own frustration get the best of you, consider these 10 Confessions for Peace In Your Family that you can speak over your family members, giving God access to work mightily in their lives.

  1. For salvation: I pray for ______ and ask You, God, to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to the power of God (Acts 26:18). I ask You to send laborers across their path, just the right laborers they will listen to (Matthew 9:37-38). Thank You, Lord, that my whole household and I are saved (Acts 16:31).
  2. For spiritual growth: In the Name of Jesus, I pray for ______ and ask You, God, the glorious Father our Lord Jesus Christ, to give them spiritual wisdom and insight so that they might grow in their knowledge of You. I pray that their heart will be flooded with light so that they can understand the hope You have given to those You called. I also pray they will understand the incredible greatness of Your power (Ephesians 1:17-19).
  3. For God’s love: ______ is strengthened with might in their inner man through God’s Spirit. Christ makes His home in their heart and their roots grow down into God’s love. May they have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep God’s love is. May they experience the love of Christ so they are made complete with all the fullness of life and power from God (Ephesians 3:16-19).
  4. For overcoming difficulties: No weapon formed against ______ shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against them in judgment they shall condemn. Their righteousness is of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17, NKJV).
  5. For overcoming lack: ______ delights in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do (Psalm 1:1-3).
  6. For overcoming fear: For God has not given ______ a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). They have the mind of Christ and hold the thoughts, feelings and purposes of His heart (1 Corinthians 2:16, AMPC).
  7. For overcoming anxious thoughts: I pray for ______, that they are not anxious about anything, but in prayer and with thanksgiving, they make known their requests to the Lord, and the peace that surpasses all understanding guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. They think on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:6-8).
  8. For favor: For You, Lord, bless the righteous. You surround ______ with favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12, NKJV). You give them favor in all their relationships. They have favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).
  9. For protection: ______ dwells in the secret place of the Most High. They hide in the shadow of the Almighty. God is their refuge and fortress; He is their God in whom they trust. A thousand may fall at their side, and 10,000 at their right hand, but it shall not come near them (Psalm 91).
  10. For trusting God: ______ trusts in the Lord with all their heart and leans not on their own understanding. In all their ways they acknowledge God, and He directs their steps (Proverbs 3:5-6, NKJV). Watering Your Family Tree This Christmas

Have you ever tried to change something in your life and been frustrated with the results? Everyone has, at one time or another. Maybe you decided to eat better or exercise or save money. If you didn’t see the results, it’s probably because you started the habit, but you didn’t continue it.

To make changes in your life, you have to be consistent. Gloria Copeland says, “In consistency lies the power.” It’s what you do on a consistent basis that brings results. For example, if you are focused on getting healthy, you can eat more nutritious foods and exercise for one week, but that alone will not get you healthy. You have to continue eating healthy foods and exercising to become healthy.

The same is true with the Word of God. You can’t feed on it and speak it every so often and expect to see results in your life. Jeremiah 15:16 says, “When I discovered your words, I devoured them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight….” It’s the consistent feeding on and speaking of the Word of God that brings results in your life. If you want to change the direction of a particular area of your life, then begin by declaring these 10 Confessions To Change Your Destiny.

  1. From Sick to Healed

God sent His Word and healed me.

“He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death” (Psalm 107:20).

  1. From Discouraged to Encouraged

I put my hope in God, and I will praise Him.

“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again–my Savior” (Psalm 42:5).

  1. From Hateful to Loving

God loves me, and the Holy Spirit has filled my heart with love.

“For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love” (Romans 5:5).

  1. From Unforgiving to Forgiving

I am kind and forgive others as Christ has forgiven me.

“Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you” (Ephesians 4:32).

  1. From Sad to Joyful

The joy of the Lord is my strength.

“This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” (Nehemiah 8:10).

  1. From Foolishness to Wisdom

I ask God for wisdom; He knows what to do in every situation.

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking” (James 1:5).

  1. From Undisciplined to Disciplined

I discipline myself to run with purpose in every step.

“All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing” (1 Corinthians 9:25-26).

  1. From Poor to Rich

Jesus became poor so that by His poverty, I could be made rich in this life.

“You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9).

  1. From Incomplete to Complete

I am complete in Jesus, who is the head of all principality and power.

“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:9-10, NKJV).

  1. From Fearful to Powerful

God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7).

Watch Kenneth Copeland teach about The Consistency of Faith HERE

You can consistently feed on the Word of God by declaring these 10 Confessions To Change Your Destiny. Jesus said, “Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you–and more [besides] will be given to you who hear” (Mark 4:24, AMPC). You don’t have to be frustrated with results in your life; continuing to declare the Word of God will transform your thinking and transform your life!

3 Steps To Change Your Destiny

As we go through the busyness of life, we have a lot of expectations: We expect phone calls, packages at our front doors, for our kids to go to school, and for them to come home at the end of the day. We expect to commute to work, do our jobs with excellence, and manage dinner. On especially good days, we expect paychecks, birthdays, holidays, presents and maybe company for dinner.

No matter what, every day we wake up and live our day, expecting something or someone. And in most of those moments of anticipation, we don’t just sit around and wait. No, we’re usually busy doing something to prepare for what we expect, whether it’s allowing a little extra time for the commute to work or shopping online for gift ideas.

When it comes to your faith journey, what are you believing for? Better yet, how are you preparing for what you expect to happen?

The Word teaches us that faith acts. Faith steps out and does something based on what it expects to happen (Hebrews 11:1, 4-35). The Apostle James challenges us with this revelation about faith: “Faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)” (James 2:17, AMPC).

To help you develop your faith, here are 20 Faith-Building Confessions that can be the next action step you take that bring your faith to life and ensures you get the results you need–and want–to happen:

  1. The Lord is my Shepherd; therefore I have everything I need (Psalm 23:1).
  2. Every sin, sickness, disease, sorrow, and grief was laid on Jesus; therefore I am free from all those things. I walk in divine health and joy all the days of my life (Isaiah 53:3-5).
  3. I have no worries in this life because I seek God’s kingdom above all else. I know my Father loves me. I live righteously by faith in Him, and He gives me everything I need (Matthew 6:31-34).
  4. Because I am a Covenant believer in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whatever I forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever I permit on earth will be permitted in heaven (Matthew 18:18).
  5. I have faith in God. I have the faith of God. I can pray for anything, and because I believe I receive when I pray, it will be mine (Mark 11:22-24).
  6. I am a generous giver. When I give, my gift returns to me in full–pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into my lap (Luke 6:38).
  7. Because I believe in Jesus, I can do the same works He did–and even greater–because He went to be with the Father; and now His mighty Spirit lives in me. (John 14:12).
  8. I can ask my heavenly Father directly for whatever I need or desire that’s in line with His Word, and He will grant my request because Jesus said, “Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy” (John 16:23-24).
  9. God has united me with Jesus–who has made me pure, holy and free from sin. I have His wisdom, His right standing with the Father, and by His blood, He has made me free from sin (1 Corinthians 1:30).
  10. I live by believing what God says and not by seeing (2 Corinthians 5:7).
  11. I am a generous and cheerful giver, and God generously provides all I need (2 Corinthians 9:6-8).
  12. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think, according to the power of His Spirit who is at work within me (Ephesians 3:20, NKJV).
  13. Now that I belong to Christ, I am a true child of Abraham and an heir of God’s promise of blessing to him (Galatians 3:29).
  14. I am God’s masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus and able to do all the good things He planned for me long ago (Ephesians 2:10).
  15. Jesus sits in the highest place of honor with God, and I am united with Him, so I am seated with Him in heavenly places. I walk in victory because I am seated together with the One who has the Name above all other names. (Philippians 2:9-11; Ephesians 2:6).
  16. I belong to God, and Jesus is the Apostle and High Priest of my confession of faith as I speak His mighty Word in victory over every situation in my life (Hebrews 3:1, NKJV).
  17. Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. I have strong faith. I’m a believer and not a doubter (Romans 10:17, NKJV).
  18. I don’t have to worry about a thing because my heavenly Father cares for me. I give all my worries and cares to Him (1 Peter 5:7).
  19. I can go to my heavenly Father with bold confidence and receive whatever I ask from Him because I obey Him and do the things that please Him (1 John 3:21-22).
  20. I am confident that God hears me whenever I ask for anything that pleases Him; and since I know He hears me, I know He will give me what I ask for. My heavenly Father loves me and wants to bless me (1 John 5:14-15).

Around every corner, behind every bush, in every shadow or passing thought, fear–anxiety about something or someone–always seems to be lurking. It can be something as simple as stepping onto the scales to weigh yourself or getting the kids off to school in one piece. It can be as life-altering as waiting for a medical test result or opening another past-due bill.

How does fear typically try to intimidate you? What sets you on edge during the day or keeps you awake at night? Whatever it is, you don’t have to be held hostage to the fear of anything or anyone, any longer. No, there’s good news: You can literally talk your way out of fear by focusing on Confessing Your Freedom In Christ.

Jesus had a message of hope to the believers of His day: “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32).

God’s Word is truth; and it not only delivers us from fear, but it also builds within us courage and strength (Joshua 1:7-9). There is a catch, however, to enjoying this freedom Jesus promised. He went on to warn those listening to Him that day, those who didn’t believe Him–who didn’t believe the truth, didn’t believe God’s Word: “There’s no room in your hearts for my message” (John 8:37).

In other words, we have to “make room” in our hearts and in our lives for God’s Word. We have to make room for Jesus’ message of freedom. So, if you’re ready to stop the fear and start your life of freedom, you can begin by off-loading your greatest nightmares by Confessing Your Freedom In Christ.

1. God’s Word has made me free from all fear (John 8:32).

2. The Son–Jesus and God’s Word–sets me free, therefore, I am truly free from all fear (John 8:36).

3. I stand fast in my freedom in Christ and refuse to be entangled again with any yoke of fear (Galatians 5:1).

4. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom; and the Spirit is in me, therefore freedom from all fear is in me (2 Corinthians 3:17).

5. I am called to live in freedom…and I do not slip back into my old ways of living in fear (Galatians 5:13; 1 Peter 1:13-15).

6. I walk in freedom from all fear because I have devoted myself to God’s Word (Psalm 119:45).

7. I acknowledge Jesus as my Savior and devote myself to Him (God’s Word), therefore I am cleared and freed (from all fear) which I could not be justified and freed from by the Law (Acts 13:38-39, AMPC).

8. I am free from the power of fear; I’m no longer its slave. Rather, I’m a slave of God’s and only do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life (Romans 6:22; 1 Peter 2:16).

9. I do not walk according to fear, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin, death and all fear (Romans 8:1-2).

10. I receive the good news of my deliverance from all bondage in the Anointed One, Jesus, and in His Anointing, which includes no more oppression by fear (Luke 4:18).

Confessing Your Freedom In Christ can be the start of you getting out from under fear’s oppression. Make room for Jesus’ message of freedom–and eliminate all possible room for fear!

God is Love and Love is God (1 John 4:8)–that is sometimes hard for us to comprehend, but it’s not impossible, because it’s actually something God wants us to understand. He wants us to know the magnitude of His love.

“May you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen” (Ephesians 3:18-21).

Part of developing our understanding of God’s love for us is reading and meditating on His Word. Renewing our minds to His truth. Exchanging how we think of love for His perspective. To help you do that, consider the following 10 Scriptures replacing words representing God with Love–and let them transform your thinking to truly believe that God loves you!

  1. John 1:1-3

“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with LOVE, and the Word was LOVE. He existed in the beginning with LOVE. LOVE created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.”

  1. John 3:16

“For this is how LOVE loved the world: LOVE gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

  1. Ephesians 2:4-6

“But LOVE is so rich in mercy, and LOVE loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, LOVE gave us life when LOVE raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by LOVE’S grace that you have been saved!) For LOVE raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with LOVE in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.”

  1. Romans 5:5

“For we know how dearly LOVE loves us, because LOVE has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with LOVE’S love.”

  1. John 15:9-13

“I have loved you even as LOVE has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey LOVE’S commandments and remain in LOVE’S love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

  1. John 16:26-27

“Then you will ask in my name. I’m not saying I will ask LOVE on your behalf,  for LOVE himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from LOVE.”

  1. 1 John 4:7-12

“Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from LOVE. Anyone who loves is a child of LOVE and knows LOVE. But anyone who does not love does not know LOVE, for LOVE is love. LOVE showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love–not that we loved LOVE, but that he loved us and sent LOVE’S Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since LOVE loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen LOVE. But if we love each other, LOVE lives in us, and LOVE’S love is brought to full expression in us.”

  1. Romans 8:38-39

“I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from LOVE’S love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate us from LOVE’S love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of LOVE that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

  1. Psalm 36:5-7

“Your unfailing love, O LOVE, is as vast as the heavens;  your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,  your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O LOVE.  How precious is your unfailing love, O LOVE! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.”

  1. Lamentations 3:22-24

“The faithful love of LOVE never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is LOVE’S faithfulness; LOVE’S mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “LOVE is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in LOVE!”

When Kellie Copeland’s daughter, Lyndsey, was a preteen, she woke up one morning with a fever so high that she was delirious. After taking her to the hospital, Lyndsey was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Like any mother facing such a crisis, fear did its best to grip Kellie and immobilize her. But outside Lyndsey’s hospital room, Kellie declared through gritted teeth, “I refuse to fear.” She knew the faith that was available to her. She knew the faith that was available to heal Lyndsey. And she knew that if she didn’t take a stand in faith–and refuse fear–then fear would choke out the faith God had made available to them both. But when she uttered those words–“I refuse to fear”–the grip of fear dissipated.

The Word promises us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). That’s what Kellie knew because of years spent in the Word of God–reading it, meditating on it, memorizing it, confessing it, and letting it do its work in her and in her family. Because of that, it was what she declared–and it saved Lyndsey’s life.

Choosing faith over fear in our lives, no matter the circumstance, will always be the right decision. But if we haven’t hidden the Word in our hearts to help us be strong in faith ahead of a crisis, we won’t have the strength to make that decision. We won’t have the strength to stand strong. We won’t have the faith we need to overcome and be the conqueror God has made us to be.

When God created the Garden of Eden, the Word says, “And the Lord God took the man [Adam] and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it” (Genesis 2:15, AMPC). In the King James Version, the word tend is written as dress, and both words come from the Hebrew root that means “to cultivate.”

Just as God wanted Adam to cultivate the Garden of Eden, we are to cultivate the garden of our hearts–of our spirits, of our inner man. When we do, we increase our capacity to believe and to receive by faith. We grow in our ability to walk in all that THE BLESSING provides for us–including the healing miracles we want and have so earnestly prayed for.

If you are believing God for a miracle, then keep cultivating your miracle. Keep walking in all the spiritual practices that grow your faith. For example…

When we read the Word of God, we cultivate our miracle (Proverbs 4:20-22).
When we listen to the preached Word, we cultivate our miracle (Romans 10:17).
When we pray in faith, we cultivate our miracle (John 14:14).
When we speak the Word only, we cultivate our miracle (Matthew 8:8).
When we declare the Word of God, we cultivate our miracle (2 Timothy 4:2).
When we invite others to pray for us, we cultivate our miracle (James 5:14-16).
When we worship, we cultivate our miracle (Deuteronomy 10:21).
When we attend gatherings where the Anointing, the power and the presence of God are, we cultivate our miracle (Isaiah 10:27; Hebrews 10:25).

If you are believing God for a miracle, begin today focusing your faith to receive it. Begin today intentionally cultivating your miracle, and then, make plans to attend Miracles on the Mountain at EMIC, where Pastor Billy Burke will be ministering the Word of God for healing miracles. By cultivating your miracle ahead of time, you are increasing your capacity to receive. To help you, consider these 10 Scriptures for Cultivating Your Miracle. Meditate them daily, speak the confessions that follow, and make plans to join your faith with thousands of others at Miracles on the Mountain.

1. “He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

By the stripes of Jesus I have been made whole. From the top of my head to the bottom of my feet, I am the healed. Thank You, Jesus!

2. “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed–and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes” (Acts 3:16).

I have faith in Jesus, and I am the healed in Jesus’ Name.

3. “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you” (Exodus 15:26).

4. “I am the LORD, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

Nothing is too hard for my God. Not cancer, not diabetes, not heart disease, not terminal illness of any kind! No matter what comes against me, I am the healed in Jesus’ Name.

Glory to You, Lord, for doing exceedingly abundantly above all I could ever ask or think in my body. Thank You for healing me. Thank You for my miracle! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

We have a goal – to walk in faith, not fear! Fear tolerated is faith contaminated–and contaminated faith grows weaker, never stronger. If we’re to keeping walking in faith–strong, pure, unfeigned faith–then we will have to encourage our faith daily. If we do, the devil will never be powerful enough to stand up to our faith. The truth is that he has no power of his own, but when we give fear place, we give him power. Without fear, he can’t get his hands on us or the affairs of our lives. So, to keep him out of our lives and all that concerns us, consider these 20 Confessions To Defeat Fear. Make them what you reach for the minute fear tries to take hold of you.

  1. God is Love and because I live in God, I live in Love and Love lives in me (1 John 4:16).
  2. God’s perfect love in me casts out all fear around me (1 John 4:18).
  3. Because of the love of God in me, Love Himself, I have authority over the devil and all his evil works, including fear (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
  4. I am God’s child. I have not received a spirit of bondage to fear, but a spirit of adoption. I am not an orphan, but child of God. He is my Abba Father and there is no fear in Him or me (Romans 8:15).
  5. God, who is Love, has not given me a spirit of fear or timidity, but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
  6. I have been given the mind of Christ; therefore, torment has no place in my mind. No matter what is going on around me, my mind is at peace (1 Corinthians 2:16).
  7. I have authority over the spirit of fear because I have authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
  8. I am more than a conqueror through God who loves me (Romans 8:37).
  9. My faith is working on my behalf because faith works by love, and Love lives on the inside of me (Galatians 5:6).
  10. Jesus broke the power of death. He destroyed the threat of death, and He has delivered me from being subject to the bondage of death. I am full of the Spirit of life (Hebrews 2:14; John 6:63).
  11. I do not have to be afraid or paralyzed with fear, for I have been redeemed. God has called me by name. I am His. When I pass through the waters, He will be with me. When I pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over me. When I walk through the fire, I will not be burned. The flames will not set me ablaze (Isaiah 43:1-2).
  12. Because I prayed to the Lord, He heard me, and He has delivered me from all my fears (Psalm 34:4).
  13. If God be for me, who can be against me? Fear be gone, in Jesus’ Name (Romans 8:31)!
  14. The Lord is my light and my salvation–so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble (Psalm 27:1)?
  15. God is my refuge and my strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Therefore, I will not fear, even though the earth should change. Though the mountains be thrown in to the sea, though the ocean’s waters roar and foam, I will trust in God’s faithful love (Psalm 46:1-3).
  16. I am not afraid, for God is with me. I will not be discouraged. He will strengthen me and help me. He will uphold me with His victorious right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
  17. The Lord is on my side; He is for me, so I will have no fear! What can mere people do to me (Psalm 118:6)?
  18. I will cast all my cares–all my worries and fears–over on the Lord, for He cares for me (1 Peter 5:7).
  19. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear, for God, who is Love, is with me. You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me (Psalm 23:4).
  20. The Word says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so” (Psalm 107:2), and I am redeemed; therefore, I say so! I am a believer. I am not a doubter. God is my life. He is my Lord. He is my healing. He is my health. He is my strength. He has delivered me from all fear. I’m not part of the fearful; I’m part of the faithful. I’m not fear-filled; I’m faith-filled. I’m Holy Spirit filled. I’m the righteousness of God by the blood of the Lamb. Jesus didn’t come and shed His blood so that I could be filled with fear. He came, gave Himself and shed His blood, so I could be fearless, faithful and overpowering where death and the devil are concerned. Sickness is under my feet. Poverty is a thing of the past. I’ll never be fearful another day in my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!

God has called us to live by faith–to walk in faith (2 Corinthians 5:7), but for us to stay in faith and grow in our faith, we’ll have to stay in the Word of God. Daily. Continually. We will need to keep it before our eyes, going in our ears and coming out of our mouths. This is the primary way we increase our capacity for faith. It’s how we go from having little faith in a situation to having great faith in a situation.

There’s a story in the New Testament of a man who brought his demon-possessed boy to Jesus, and it illustrates so well the different levels of faith we can have–and how it can change. The man started by saying, “Teacher, I brought my son so you could heal him. He is possessed by an evil spirit that won’t let him talk. And whenever this spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast out the evil spirit, but they couldn’t do it” (Mark 9:17-18).

When Jesus replied, He addressed the disciples first: “You faithless people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to me” (Mark 9:19).

When they did, Jesus asked the boy’s father how long his son had been suffering this way. The man replied, “Since he was a little boy. The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can” (Mark 9:21-22).

“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes” (Mark 9:23).

And what the father said next gives us great hope that, with God’s help, we can grow our faith. “The father instantly cried out, ‘I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!'” (Mark 9:24).

How many of us have needed God’s help to believe, to overcome where our faith stopped and fear wanted to take over? It’s those moments we prepare for by increasing our faith continually and by being in the Word consistently.

To help you grow in your faith, consider these 20 Confessions To Grow Your Faith From Little To Great. Then the next time you’re facing something bigger than you ever have before, you’ll be ready. You’ll be filled to overflowing with great faith!

  20. Now to Him who is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me, unto Him be the glory, forever and ever, amen (Ephesians 3:20-21).

God has a plan for your life! Jeremiah 29:11 promises this: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the LORD. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'”

Do you know God’s plans for you? Do you know why He placed you on this earth in this particular time? If you don’t, it’s OK. The good news is that He wants you to know. To help you get started discovering what God’s good plans are for you, begin praying and declaring the following 5 Confessions for God’s Plans for Your Life.

1. Lord, based on the promise in John 10:1-5, I declare that I hear You. I know Your voice. I hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow.
“I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber! But the one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice. They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice” -John 10:1-5.

2. I trust You, Lord, with all my heart. I do not depend on my own understanding; rather, I seek Your will in all I do, trusting that You will show me which path to take.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take” -Proverbs 3:5-6.

3. Lord, I will stay in Your Word because Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. You will lead me and guide me in the way I should go.
“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path” -Psalm 119:105.
“The LORD says, ‘I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you'” -Psalm 32:8.

4. Lord, all day long I put my hope in You. I trust that You make known to me the path You want me to follow. You lead me by Your truth, for You are the God who saves me.
“Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you” -Psalm 25:4-5.

5. Thank You, Lord, that You will never give up on me; You will never leave me nor forsake me; rather, You will be faithful to complete the good work that You began in me. You will continue Your work in me until it is finally finished, on the day when Jesus returns.
“For God has said, ‘I will never fail you. I will never abandon you'” (Hebrews 13:5).
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” -Philippians 1:6.

The list of things–both spiritual and natural–that we value in this life can be lengthy. But if we want to walk in God’s will and live according to His Word, we need to not only obey His Word, but also fill our mouths with His Word. Mark 11:23 is a foundational verse that teaches us this principle: “Truly I tell you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he SAYS will take place, it will be done for him” (AMPC). God wants us to pray and confess His Word, declaring it over our lives. We are to fill our mouths with what He values–both for ourselves and for others.

Another verse that expresses the priority God places on what we speak is found in 2 Corinthians 4:13, “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak” (NKJV). One of the most powerful ways we cultivate the habit of speaking God’s Word is to be speak ONLY His values–to speak in agreement with Him and about what matters most to Him. About us. About the people around us who have not made Him the Lord of their lives. About our government and those in authority. About our husbands or wives. About our children. About anyone and everything!

God wants us to confess His Word continually, which reflects His values, so that we’re speaking what He wants to come to pass. Jesus demonstrated this for us when He prayed what we now call the Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:9-10, NKJV).

In light of this, have you ever wondered How To Confess Only God-Given Values?

Consider this list of ten confessions to help you get started.

  1. Regarding love: “Based on Matthew 22:37-38, Ephesians 5:1-2, and 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, I love the Lord my God with all my heart, all my soul and all my mind. I love my neighbor as myself. I walk in love. I am patient and kind. I endure long. I am not envious nor jealous. I do not insist on my own way. I am not self-seeking. I am not touchy, fretful or resentful. I take no account of evil done to me. I pay no attention to a suffered wrong. I bear up under anything and everything that comes, and I am ever ready to believe the best of every person.”
  2. Regarding forgiveness: “Based on Matthew 6:14 and Ephesians 4:32, I forgive every person of their reckless and willful sins, giving up resentment. I am kind, tenderhearted and forgiving of others, just as God through Christ has forgiven me.”
  3. Regarding putting the Word of God and God’s kingdom first place in my life: “Based on Psalm 119:10-13 and Matthew 6:33, Your Word, Lord, I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against You. Teach me Your ways. I seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that whatever I need will be added to me.”
  4. Regarding being led by the Holy Spirit and walking in the fruit of the spirit: “Based on Romans 8:14 and Galatians 5:22-23, I am a child of God, therefore, I am led by God’s Holy Spirit. I walk in the fruit of the spirit. I love freely. I have joy and peace. I am patient, kind, full of goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, against which there is no law that can bring a charge!”
  5. Regarding praying about everything: “Based on Philippians 4:6-7, I refuse to worry about anything, and instead, I pray about everything. I tell You, God, what I need and thank You for all You are doing and have already done on my behalf. I receive Your peace that exceeds all my understanding. Your peace guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.”
  6. Regarding sharing the gospel with others: “Based on Romans 1:16 and Colossians 4:6, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes. My speech is gracious, pleasant and winsome, seasoned as it were with salt, so that I am never at a loss to know how I ought to answer anyone who asks about the hope within me.”
  7. Regarding gathering together and keeping the Sabbath holy: “Based on Exodus 20:8 and Hebrews 10:25, I keep the Sabbath holy. I honor practicing a Sabbath day each week in my life, setting it aside to honor God. I do not neglect gathering with other believers in prayer, fellowship, encouragement and helping each another grow.”
  8. Regarding generosity: “Based on Matthew 6:19-21 and 2 Corinthians 9:7-8, where my treasure is, there the desires of my heart will be. Therefore, I store up treasures in heaven, and not on earth. I am generous with my time, talent and treasure. I freely give to others. I am a cheerful, prompt-to-do-it giver, whose heart is in my giving.”
  9. Regarding tithing: “Based on Malachi 3:10, I am a tither. I bring my tithes into the storehouse, so there is more than enough in God’s house. Therefore, the windows of heaven are open for me. God is pouring out a blessing so great that I won’t have room enough to take it in. And I will surely shout, ‘It is enough! It is enough!'”
  10. Regarding walking by faith: “Based on Hebrews 10:38, Hebrews 11:6 and Romans 8:28, I walk by faith. I am a faith-filled believer. I use my faith like a tool. I release my faith and use it on my behalf and on the behalf of others. I receive what I have prayed for by faith, believing God that He is my partner, and that He is working all things together, fitting all things into a plan for good for me and for His design and purpose, because I love Him.”

“How will I know I’m in love?” That was the question a young Kenneth Copeland asked his mother, and one we may well have asked at one point in our lives, too. It’s a valid question. Kenneth’s mother answered him saying, “You’ll know, you’ll know,” and when Kenneth met Gloria, he knew.

If you’ve ever fallen in love, then you understand. At some point in the relationship, you just knew, didn’t you? Love like this can last a lifetime, but as we all know, in some instances it fades, and it doesn’t last. What good news then to know that God’s love for us lasts forever! It never fades. It never wanes. There’s literally nothing we can do to get away from it or cause Him not to love us–ever.

Paul wrote about this saying, “…Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

As we celebrate all things “love” this month, let’s celebrate God’s unconditional and eternal love for us by reminding ourselves to walk in love with everyone we know and everyone we meet. Let’s love them with the everlasting love of God. First Corinthians 13 is a powerful chapter on love, a reminder we can take to heart and personalize as our confession. “If I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such as is inspired by God’s love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God’s love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody). Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or in order that I may glory, but have not love (God’s love in me), I gain nothing” (verses 1-3 AMPC).

To keep confessing this beautiful chapter on love as your personal prayer of confession, speak these 10 Confessions for Walking In Love based on the AMPC to keep yourself loving the way God loves you and walking in His love with others.

  1. Because I walk in love, God’s love, I endure long.
  2. Because I walk in love, God’s love, I am patient and kind.
  3. Because I walk in love, God’s love, I am never envious, nor do I boil over with jealousy.
  4. Because I walk in love, God’s love, I am not boastful or vainglorious, nor do I behave haughtily.
  5. Because I love, I am not conceited, arrogant or inflated with pride.
  6. Because I love, I am not rude or unmannerly, nor do I act unbecomingly.
  7. Love, God’s love in me, does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy, fretful, or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it, it pays no attention to a suffered wrong.
  8. Love, God’s love in me, does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
  9. Love, God’s love in me, bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, has fadeless hope under all circumstances, and endures everything, without weakening.
  10. Love, God’s love in me, never fails. It never fades out, becomes obsolete or comes to an end.

The chapter ends by telling us that faith, hope and love abide. Faith is the conviction and belief about man’s relation to God and divine things. Hope is the joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation. And love is true affection for God and others, growing out of God’s love for and in us. There are these three, but the greatest of these is love–God’s love for us and in us. Happy love month!

Words are not primarily for communication, though we use them for communicating with one another and with God all the time. Words are actually meant for far more–they are containers. They are containers whose primary use is to release faith, love, life, healing, power, joy and the goodness of God into this earthly realm. But oftentimes, we forget this, and we use our words to release quite the opposite. We use them to release doubt, unbelief, sorrow, hate and other destructive forces.

James 3:6 tells us of its power: “And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.”

God wants us to take authority over our mouths so we Speak the Word–Only. This is what the Scripture shows us in Matthew 8:8, when the centurion answered Jesus saying, “Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed” (KJV).

What Are You Speaking?

God wants us to only speak what He speaks in His Word and in our spirits–love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, health, wholeness, and every other uplifting and encouraging word. He wants us to speak words of life!

When Kenneth and Gloria Copeland were newlyweds, this truth came alive to Kenneth for the first time. Gloria had bought a sack of cantaloupes from a man selling them along the roadside. The first two they cut open were ripe and delicious, but the rest were rotten. In a heated moment of frustration, Kenneth told Gloria to give him the sack so he could go back to the man and confront him, but Gloria was quick to say, “No, you’re not.”

In those brief moments, something rose up in Kenneth and he immediately identified that it wasn’t good. When he asked God was it was, the Lord said, You need to forgive him, talking about the man who sold them the rotten cantaloupes. So, Kenneth did; he spoke words of forgiveness over the man. It was then that Kenneth recognized the power of his own words. By speaking words of forgiveness, the unforgiveness that had come up in him left. He was free of it!

Proverbs 18:21 tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]” (AMPC).

How are you using your words? Are you using God’s words that bring life? Or are you using words that invite destruction? It’s our choice what we speak
We speak death, or we speak life.
We speak hate, or we speak love.
We speak hurtful words, or we speak helpful words.
And those words go to work on our behalf and on the behalf of others right away!

10 Confessions for Speaking Life

Sometimes we get so used to saying things, we don’t hear what we’re really saying. Have you ever heard someone say, “Well, that scared me to death”? That’s not speaking life, is it? Perhaps you’ve heard someone say, “I almost died laughing.” Why would we want to laugh until we died? Of course, none of us do, so let’s not say that. To help you take authority over your words and begin speaking words of life, consider these 10 confessions for speaking life to help you get your words–your containers–full of life.

  1. I will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).
  2. I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37).
  3. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise will continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34:1).
  4. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13).
  5. I rejoice in the Lord always (Philippians 4:4).
  6. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
  7. Just as Jesus is the light of the world, I am salt and light in this world (Matthew 5:13-16; John 8:12)
  8. I am an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony (Revelation 12:11).
  9. My words are gracious and seasoned with salt; and I have answers for everyone who asks about the hope within me (Colossians 4:6).
  10. I love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my mind. And I love my neighbor as myself (Matthew 22:37-39).

When each of us was born again and made a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17), God gave us a measure of faith. “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith” (Romans 12:3, NKJV).

For our faith walk to be successful and consistent, and to bear much fruit in our lives, bringing forth the harvest we desire in each season of our lives, we must develop it. We must grow it. This process begins with using it, by implementing the fundamentals of faith, as Kenneth Copeland has taught for more than 50 years.

The fundamentals of faith include:

  1. Believing in your heart what the Word of God has to say about a situation in your life (Mark 11:22-25).
  2. Saying what you want or need, being sure to include the promise from God’s Word concerning your need (Mark 11:23; 2 Corinthians 4:13).
  3. Receiving what you want or need by faith (Matthew 21:22).
  4. Calling things that do not exist as though they do…which means declaring the end result you want before you see it or feel it (Romans 4:17).
  5. Applying corresponding action, because faith without works is dead (James 2:17, 21-24).

For our faith to continue growing throughout our Christian walk so that it can overcome every challenge we face, we must fuel it. We must encourage it. This is how we increase our faith continually.

To help you implement the practice of developing your faith, consider the following 10 Faith-Building Confessions based on the Word of God.

  1. It is by grace, through faith, that I have been saved, and it is by faith that I continue to work out my salvation. God is faithful to work in me to do His will and to do His good pleasure (Ephesians 2:8; Philippians 2:12-13).
  2. I have been crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me. The life which I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20).
  3. I respond out of love to everyone I meet because faith works by love (Galatians 5:6).
  4. I pray in tongues regularly, building myself up in my holy faith, because that is what God said for me to do (Jude 20-21).
  5. I listen to the Word of God continually, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
  6. I believe even when it is hard to believe. I ask God for help and He helps me even in my unbelief (Mark 9:24).
  7. God lives in me, and He cannot disown Himself. Though at times I feel faithless, God is faithful to me (2 Timothy 2:13).
  8. I will not fear, for God is with me. He will strengthen and help me. In whatever I face, He will uphold me with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
  9. In everything I do, I look to Jesus. I fix my eyes on Him, because He is the Author and Finisher of my faith (Hebrews 12:2).
  10. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; therefore, I live by faith. I walk by faith and not by sight (Romans 1:7; 2 Corinthians 5:7).

Take these 10 Faith-Building Confessions and incorporate them into your day, declaring them and proclaiming them over your life. Then, as you continue to strengthen your faith, go to God’s Word for more verses about faith and personalize them into even more confessions. Continue living by faith and developing the faith God has given you, and watch the breakthroughs multiply.

When God created us, He made us in His image. As He is three in one–God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit–we also are three in one–spirits that live in bodies and have souls. Our spirits are the real us, and they actually keep our bodies alive. Proverbs 18:14 bears this out saying, “The spirit of a man will sustain him [his body] in his infirmity” (KJV).

Consequently, when our spirits leave our bodies, our bodies die. Dying is that easy. It makes sense, then, that God’s Word–which strengthens and gives life to our spirits–can in turn affect our bodies. Romans 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (KJV).

In this passage, the word mortal, according to Webster’s Dictionary, means “subject to death.” When the Apostle Paul wrote those words, he was not referring to the glorious bodies we will be receiving when Jesus returns. He was speaking of our current bodies, here and now. Add to that the word quicken, which, also according to Webster’s, in part means “to give or restore vigor or activity to; to stir up, to rouse, to stimulate, revive, restore to life.” Within these words we have God’s promise that He will “quicken our mortal flesh,” meaning He will enliven our bodies by the very resurrection power of the Holy Spirit who abides within our spirits.

God wants us to live out His promise to us–by faith. And the way we activate our faith is by speaking it each and every day–by speaking life! Consider these 10 Confessions To Activate the Resurrection Power of God In Your Life, so you can live life to the full and walk in the abundant life God planned for you (John 10:9-10).

  1. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of every sickness; therefore, it has no place in my life (Deuteronomy 28:61; Galatians 3:13).
  2. Jesus Himself took all my sickness, weaknesses and pain. He bore all my diseases, so I don’t have to bear them (Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:16-17).
  3. Because of the stripes that Jesus bore for me on the cross, I am the healed (1 Peter 2:24).
  4. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget none of His benefits. He redeems my life from the pit and corruption. He beautifies me and crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercy. He forgives all my iniquities and heals all my diseases (Psalm 103:2-3).
  5. Bless the Lord, O my soul, who satisfies my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s. I am strong, overcoming and soaring (Psalm 103:1, 3-5, AMPC).
  6. I guard my heart, because out of it flows the issues of life. I pay attention to God’s words and keep them in my heart, because they are life to me and health to my body. I walk in divine health (Proverbs 4:20-23).
  7. The Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me, and He quickens my mortal body (Romans 8:11).
  8. The God of peace Himself sanctifies me through and through. He separates me from profane things and makes me pure. I am wholly consecrated to God. My spirit, soul and body are preserved sound and complete for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23, AMPC).
  9. The Word says that the prayer of faith shall save the sick; therefore the Lord will raise me up (James 5:14-16, KJV).
  10. Above all, I prosper and am in good health. I stay well (3 John 2).

Imagine if we were to start everyday with these 10 Confessions To Activate the Resurrection Power of God In Your Life! This is how God wants us to approach Him–with His Word and in faith. This is how God wants us to live–believing Him for His many promises by speaking them over our lives in faith. This is how He wants us activating His resurrection power in our lives each and every day!

If you want a change in your life, then you must be the one to make a change–and changing your words is the best place to start. It’s no secret that what you and I say is what comes to pass in our lives. Therefore, if we want something other than what we have now, we must begin speaking words that are of God, that are in alignment with His Word, and that are what we want to come to pass in our lives.

It’s our words, based on God’s Word, that open the door for the abundant life we all want. With your salvation came the power to speak words of life, blessing and truth in faith. Then, you will begin to see your words affect change in the spiritual realm–change that will eventually manifest in the natural realm.

You can start this TODAY. Begin changing your world by changing your words. Consider these 3 Practical Ways To Start Confessing the Word.

1. Make deposits into your heart.

“Your word I have hidden in my heart.” -Psalm 119:11 (NKJV)

God’s Word makes a circle. It comes down to us from Him like rain from heaven and goes into the soil of our hearts (Mark 4). Then, we lift those words back up to Him in faith, and He brings them to pass in our lives. Isaiah 55:10-11 says, “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”

Take time to make deposits of His Word inside your heart and mind.

2. Meditate the Word.

“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” -Joshua 1:8

If you want the Word to produce powerful results in your life, you can’t be content to just know what it says. You must believe it, meditate on it and speak it until it abides in you. Then you will say and obey it. We call that acting on the Word!

The secret to the Word abiding in you is to put the Word into your heart in abundance, so it will dwell and come alive in you. You must give your attention to it, just like God instructed Joshua to do.

Meditating means allowing the Holy Spirit to make God’s Word a reality in your life. Carefully ponder how the Word applies to your life, and you will realize the integrity–the truthfulness–of God’s Word.

3. Say what you want–and not what you have.

“I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.” -Mark 11:23

One reason it’s so important to have the Word abiding in you in abundance is that when you come up against a test or a trial, the devil will put tremendous pressure on you to say negative things. You’ll find yourself strongly tempted to speak the problem instead of the Word. But you can’t do that and come out in victory.

The devil wants us to say, “I feel so sick!” instead of, “By Jesus’ stripes I am healed.” He wants us to say, “I’m broke!” instead of, “My God meets my needs according to His riches in glory.” And we end up having what we say instead of what we desire–and things stay the way they are.

There’s just no way around it. To live a life of blessing, we’re going to have to make our words agree with what God says–not just for a few hours or a few days, but all the time. What are you speaking now? Start today to speak God’s blessing proactively. Declare that you have divine health every day. Declare that you have all your needs met in abundance every day. Declare the peace of God over every area of your life all the time. Believe it, confess it and receive it, in Jesus’ Name!

Do you want the faith of God working in your body? Do you want the Word of God working in your body? Then use the following 5 Confessions of Faith for Receiving YOUR Healing to release your faith and get God’s Word working in you. As Proverbs 4:22 tells us, “For they [God’s Words] are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh” (NKJV).

1. I Am The Healed

“Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.” (Isaiah 53:4-5, AMPC).

At 86 years old, Brother Copeland still confesses this scripture first thing every morning. Using  the King James Version, he declares by faith, “He has born our sicknesses and carried our pains. We did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. And the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.”

2. The Spirit of Life Lives in Me

“And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:10-11, NKJV).

Personalize this scripture as your confession: “Christ lives in me. The Spirit of Life lives in me. And because the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in me, He gives life to my body. He raises me up. I can stand, walk, run, leap and give God glory with my body. In Jesus’ Name.”

3. Jesus Heals All My Diseases

“Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Psalm 103:1-5, NKJV).

Based on this verse, declare by faith: “Bless the Lord, Oh my soul! Everything within me blesses His holy Name. I forget none of His benefits: He forgives all my iniquities; He heals all my disease; He redeems my life from destruction: And He crowns my life with lovingkindness and tender mercies. He satisfies my mouth with good things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s. In Jesus’ Name.”

4. I Will Live and Not Die

“I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD” (Psalm 118:17, NKJV).

Boldly speak this confession of life: “I will not die, but I shall live and declare the works of the Lord. I am the healed, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. My body and all its parts line up with the Word of God. My body comes into alignment with God and His Word, and I live strong, fit, healthy and full of vitality. In Jesus’ Name.”

5. God Will Satisfy Me With Long Life

“With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation” (Psalm 91:16, NKJV).
“Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many” (Proverbs 4:10, NKJV).

Build your faith as you say: “Because I am obedient to God and His Word, I stand on His promises that He will satisfy me with long life. I believe I receive that the years of my life will be many. In Jesus’ Name.”

When Brother Copeland was still a student at Oral Roberts University, the Spirit of God spoke to Gloria Copeland saying, In consistency lies the power. What this meant was–what you say all the time; what you think all the time; what you do all the time–that’s where the power lies. Because of that, keep speaking these confessions and don’t stop. Declare them morning, noon and night. Put them where you can see them and say them continually, because in consistency lies the power!

4 Ways to Prepare for Your Healing

Years ago, when Pastor George Pearsons faced a problem, like most of us, he would initially say, “I don’t know what to do.” But one day, the Lord said to him, George, you must strike that phrase from your vocabulary forever. In that moment, Pastor George realized the adjustments God wanted him to make.

First, he realized when a problem or situation was presented to him, he didn’t have to say anything. Second, God gave him this to say as a confession of his faith for the problem:
“I believe I receive the perfect wisdom of God. By faith I know exactly what to do.”
Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). And our faith is released when we speak it (Mark 11:23). So if we are facing a situation that needs resolving, we need to release our faith from the moment that situation presents itself, rather than confess that we don’t know what to do.

For whatever problem or issue or situation we might face, God has wisdom for us to receive–wisdom that brings resolution (James 1:5).
The next time you’re facing a problem that needs solving, speak the following 6 Confessions of Faith for When You Don’t Know What To Do, and watch God begin to give you wisdom for the answer.

1. According to Colossians 1:9, I am filled with the deep and clear knowledge of God’s will, in all spiritual wisdom and comprehensive insight, into the ways and purposes of God.
“So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.”

2. According to Isaiah 11:2, the Spirit of the Lord rests upon me–the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
“And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him–the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.”

3. According to 1 Corinthians 1:30, Jesus was made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God–and righteousness and sanctification and redemption” (NKJV).

4. According to Proverbs 2:6-7, the Lord gives me wisdom. Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous. God has laid up sound wisdom for me.
“For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly” (NKJV).

5. According to Ephesians 1:17, God has granted me a spirit of wisdom and revelation, of insight into mysteries and secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him.
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (NKJV).

6. According to James 1:5, if I lack wisdom (comprehensive insight) into the ways and purposes of God in any area, all I have to do is ask God in faith and not waver. He will liberally give it to me.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (NKJV).

Now, make this final confession with your hand over your heart:
I believe that I receive the key issue to my situation. I have the perfect wisdom of God. By faith I know exactly what to do. By faith, by faith, by faith, I know exactly what to do. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!

You can walk fear free and faith full by taking authority over fear. It doesn’t take long. All you have to do is start speaking one of the declarations below when you wake, or as you head to work. If you make these four declarations a part of your daily routine, you will walk gloriously free from fear.

Declaration #1: Take your authority over fear.

God tells us over 100 times in the Bible to not fear. Why? Because the spirit of fear is a demonic force that comes to steal God’s promises from your life. Therefore, we must have a zero-tolerance policy against fear. Add this declaration based on the Scripture to your morning prayer time.

I refuse to fear! Spirit of fear, I rebuke you, in the Name of Jesus. God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Therefore, Satan, I cast you off my mind and my body. I am a child of God, and I refuse to be depressed or oppressed by the spirit of fear. God loves me, and His perfect Love casts out all fear. His Love is shed abroad in my heart by His Spirit. Fear and every bondage, get out. Leave me now in the Name of Jesus! I have NO fear. In Jesus’ Name, I have been delivered. Amen. Praise God!
(2 Timothy 1:7; Matthew 10:8; Psalm 91:9-10; 1 John 4:18; Psalm 37:23; Isaiah 54:4; Romans 5:5)

Declaration #2: Take your stand against the spirit of fear regarding lack.

It seems like anytime bills pile up or an added expense comes along, the spirit of fear starts to nip at our heels. Well, you don’t have to keep wrestling that evil spirit of fear. Instead, kick it out, and enjoy the peace and provision of the Lord. Declare…

I am completely redeemed from the curse of the law and the stronghold of poverty. I refuse to fear over my finances because my God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Fear has no dominion over me because the Greater One lives in me, and He has given me the victory over all poverty and lack. The Lord’s mighty hand of provision works on my behalf all the time. The peace of God that passes all understanding guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.
(Philippians 4:19; 1 John 4:4; 1 Corinthians 15:57; Psalm 118:6; Hebrews 2:14; Isaiah 48:17)

Declaration #3: Walk without fear regarding your children.

As parents, God commands us to teach and train our children in His Word and His ways, so they can live a victorious life. The Bible is very clear that we are not to raise them with fear. If you find yourself gripped with fear regarding your children, then this declaration will help you overcome, because there’s power in the blood of Jesus and the Name of Jesus.

Listen to me, kingdom of darkness; it is written that I am no longer a slave to fear, but I have received the spirit of adoption, whereby I cry, “Abba, Father.” I belong to the Lord, and He belongs to me. My children and I were purchased with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and I plead the blood of Jesus over my children and myself right now. The blood of Jesus has separated us and made us righteous and holy. We obey God’s Word and are free from the curse of the law and the curses of this world. I declare God’s mighty hand of protection over my children, and I declare that they walk healthy and whole from the top of their heads to the bottom of their feet. I have complete peace and victory through my Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
(1 Corinthians 15:54-57; Romans 8:15; Philippians 4:7; Ephesians 6:1-3; Isaiah 54:13)

Declaration #4: Psalm 91, the ultimate freedom and protection from fear

Psalm 91 is known as a prayer of protection, but it’s also highly effective at casting out the spirit of fear. You can personalize it and declare it this way:

I am living FEAR FREE and FAITH FULL. I don’t allow my heart to be troubled because I trust in the Lord. I stand on His promises in Psalm 91, and I declare that no evil shall befall me, neither shall any plague nor calamity come near me, my family or our dwelling places. My family and I dwell in the secret place of the Most High God. The angels of the Lord surround me and watch over me. I am covered by the blood of Jesus, and I thank You, Lord, that I dwell in the shadow of Your wings. You protect me. My steps are ordered by You, and You lead and guide me in the way I should go. Thank You, Lord, that You are the Good Shepherd, and You watch over me and take care of me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
(Psalm 91; other references: 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Psalm 37:23; Isaiah 48:17; John 10:14; Romans 5:5; John 14:1)

Take your stand and declare, “No fear here!” Speak these declarations to walk gloriously free every day. As you resist the devil and the demonic spirit of fear, they will flee from you, and your faith will soar! You will become a more victorious Christian, and everyone will see your peace and want what you have (John 17:23). What a wonderful witness of God’s goodness to the world. God makes all the difference!

When you’re confronted by the world system, your spirit will rise and speak against any bad report (Romans 12:2). Instead of succumbing to pain or experiencing forgetfulness, you will speak promises of salvation and watch His glory manifest to you. No matter what, don’t ever stop speaking God’s blessings over your life!

It never fails.

Crisis happens and people pull together–to find hope, to find help, to find out how they can lend a hand. It’s human nature to gather during those times.

It also seems “human nature” for people to attend church on Resurrection or Easter Sunday, especially those who rarely go to church. You can count on it like clockwork. You’ll find more people at church on that one Sunday than any other time of the year.

Maybe it’s that same instinct to find hope, help and a way to lend a hand.

Or is there more to it?

Not long before Jesus went to the cross to be crucified, He told His followers…

“When I am lifted up from the earth, [I] will draw all people to myself” (John 12:32, NIV).

We now know Jesus was giving everyone a heads-up on the fact that He was going to be killed, and how it was going to happen. But while His words are inspiring, something seems off about His statement.

If He knew He’d be crucified and raised from the dead, but then only be around a few weeks before going back to heaven (for the next 2,000 years!), how did Jesus expect to “draw all people” to Himself?

How could He do that and not be here?

Well, it didn’t take His disciples long to figure that out.

The Apostle Paul spoke to the issue when he said:

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:27, NIV).

It became obvious that Jesus expected to “draw all people” to Himself through His followers.

And what would that big draw be?

In Jesus’ own words:

“Love each other just as much as I have loved you. For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers” (John 13:34-35, TPT).

“Love your enemies…so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father” (Matthew 5:44-45, NASB).

Love was the common thread in everything Jesus said and did. Love is who He was while on this earth (1 John 4:7-8). Love is who He continues to be–and that Love expressed through us is what will continue to “draw all people” to Him.

Again, as Paul said it:

“Be imitators of God [Love] in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as his beloved sons and daughters” (Ephesians 5:1, TPT).

In this season of world crisis when people especially need hope and help, in this season when people specifically go to the Church looking for that hope and help, what better time to practice speaking the language of hope and help, which is Love?

Here are scriptures written in the form of confessions you can use to practice speaking your Love language. As with any language, the more you practice, the more fluent and confident you will become, and the more you will communicate effectively the hope you have (1 Peter 3:15).

1 Corinthians 13 (NIV) Verse 4:

• I am patient–with endurance and serenity

• I am kind–and thoughtful

• I do not envy–I am not jealous

• I do not boast–or brag

• I am not proud–or arrogant.

Verse 5:

• I am not rude–I do not dishonor others, but honor them

• I am not self-seeking–I defer to others

• I am not easily angered or provoked–I am peaceable

• I do not keep a record of other people’s wrongs–I am forgiving.

Verse 6:

• I do not delight in evil or rejoice at injustice–I delight in good

• I rejoice in the truth–I rejoice when right and truth prevail.

Verse 7:

• I always protect–keeping every confidence

• I always trust–believing the best in everyone

• I always hope–remaining steadfast in difficult times

• I always persevere–enduring all things without weakening.

Verse 8:

• I never fail–never fade away or come to an end; I always succeed.

God’s divine nature (Love) is in us because Christ is in us (2 Peter 1:4, Colossians 1:27). Now, we have the responsibility of demonstrating as much Love as Jesus did.

So, make God’s Word your Love language by putting yourself in each of these Love statements–and, personally, you will never fail. You’ll also make a difference in your world by allowing Jesus to “draw all people” to Himself!

5 Reasons Why Your Seed Determines Your Income

Words aren’t meaningless or powerless in your life. They have creative power, just as God demonstrated when He created the heavens and the earth with His words. Now, you have the authority to do the same thing here on earth.

If you’re battling sickness or disease, or want to stay in divine health, you can take control of your life by getting control of your tongue. The following are Kenneth Copeland’s “I Am Healed” Confessions, taken from a Victory Campaign when the anointing came upon him to help people receive healing. You can speak these confessions any time and receive the same powerful effect!

Say this out loud:

“I’m going to release my faith right now. I stir it up! I have the faith of God in me. All things are possible to me because I’m a believer. I’m not a doubter. I’m a receiver. I’m a believer. I have it now. I release the faith given to me by The LORD Jesus Christ Himself: My Savior. My LORD. My Melchizedek. The High Priest of my life.”

“I release my faith. I release it against sin, death, the curse, sickness, disease, poverty, lack, debt. Leave my presence. Take your hands off my body. Release my mind. Release my will. Release my emotions. You will not touch my spirit. Release my finances. Release my family.”

“I pray the prayer of faith that whatsoever things I desire when I pray, which is right now, I believe I receive them. It is done for me now!”

“I receive total freedom in my head. I receive healing, deliverance and all that Jesus has ever done.”

“My eyes are healed. My ears are healed. My brain is healed and delivered from all foreign matter. Any chemicals that have worked their way into my body from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet are removed, dematerialized and gone from my body. I am free from the law of sin and death. The Son of the living God has made me free, and I am a free person.”

“My throat is healed. My chest is healed. My lungs are healed. My esophagus is healed. Nothing can stay in the vital organs of my body except the healing power of Jesus. My arms are healed. My hands are healed. Every joint in my body is renewed, restored and delivered from disease, weakness and pain.”

“I’m healed. My kidneys are healed. My spine is healed, from my brain stem completely to the end of my spine. The disks, nerves and muscles are all healed and made well. My backbone is restored. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s in the 103rd Psalm. My hips are well. My hip joints are restored. My knees are well. They are restored. Every part of my legs, including my ankles, my feet, the bones of my feet and legs, muscles, ligaments, and nerves, are restored and made well.”

“I believe I receive it right now. It’s not based on what I feel. It’s not based on what I see. It is based on this message of faith. It’s based on the written oath of God. It is mine, and I am His forever more. I am a (man or woman) of faith, love and joy. Faith, hope and love are working in me now. Why? Because I’m BLESSED. I am BLESSED coming in, and I’m blessed going out.”

“THE BLESSING is working in me now. The Garden of Eden effect is at work. The anointing that removes burdens and destroys yokes is working in me–spirit, soul and body. I will come to complete wholeness and wellness.”

“I will stand in the full stature with my LORD Jesus Christ, anointed with His Anointing, healed with His resurrection. And my prayer and desire is to know Him in fullness–to serve Him in power and to know Him in the power of His resurrection.”

“Thank God, I am healed from the top of my head to the soles of my feet and in all the affairs of my life. I’m whole! I’m whole! I’m debt free!”

Are You Talking To Your Body? 3 Ways To Speak the Language of Health

Many Christians have settled for the idea that we are to sow, then kick back and wait for the harvest to roll in. Then, frustration sets in when the harvest doesn’t come, and they say, “How much more can I give?”

The truth is, biblical reaping is not automatic. Proverbs 10:4-5 tells us we must not sleep through our harvest and allow it to stand in the field. According to Mark 4:26-29, the Lord has given us the harvesting responsibility.

How, then, do we reap our harvests?

Our harvest is called in by our words of faith. Isaiah 41:15 (KJV) says, “I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth.” Teeth in the Hebrew is actually the word mouth. The words of your mouth, spoken in faith, are like great combines that go out into the field and bring in the harvest. We also use our words to send ministering angels out into the fields to gather up our harvests (Hebrews 1:14; Matthew 13:39; Psalm 103:20).

Don’t wait another minute. Open your mouth, and begin to call in your harvest! Begin with these 7 Confessions To Bring In Your Harvest:

  1. Harvest, I speak to you in the Name of Jesus. I command you to come to me now. The Lord said whatever a man sows he shall also reap, so I declare that I am reaping a harvest on every seed sown. Satan, I command you to release your grip on my harvest. It belongs to me (Galatians 6:7)!
  2. I am a sower! I am a faithful tither, and I sow into the kingdom of God. Jesus said when I give, it will be given to me–pressed down, shaken together and running over. I receive that into my financial life now in Jesus’ Name (Luke 6:38).
  3. I declare Genesis 26:12 over my life and seed sown. Just as Isaac sowed and reaped a hundredfold the same year, I declare the hundredfold return is actively operating in my life every day in Jesus’ Name.
  4. Father, You said that whoever sows righteousness will receive a reward. I declare that where I have sown love, I will receive love. Where I have sown peace, integrity and excellence, I will receive the same harvest. Where I have sown time, money, possessions or encouragement, I declare a harvest on those seeds according to Your Word (Proverbs 11:18, 28:20).
  5. The harvest of my seed has swallowed up my need!
  6. Because I am a tither, the windows of heaven are open over me, and I expect to receive in Jesus’ Name (Malachi 3:10)!
  7. God, You always honor Your Word. I will not speak words contrary to receiving my harvest. I cast down every thought and imagination that does not agree with what Your Word says about my harvest. Your law of sowing and reaping always works, and it is working in my life now. Thank You, Jesus (Philippians 4:19)!

As you speak these 7 Confessions To Bring In Your Harvest, expect to see results! Every seed you’ve ever sown will reap a harvest–no matter how long it has been out there. Think back on all your tithing and sowing. There is a harvest to reap from every single seed, so get your mind on the harvest. Don’t leave spiritual crops in the field. If you haven’t thought of yourself as a harvester until now, start thinking of yourself that way. Roll up your spiritual sleeves and get to work. You know the rules of reaping and how to reap your harvest. Now it’s harvest time!

4 Laws For Financial Success

Feeling out of energy or tired after a long fight of faith is nothing new. Maybe you’re there now. You don’t doubt where the source of your life and victory is, yet you find yourself empty.

I declare in the Name of Jesus…

  1. No matter how bad things seem, no matter how long my struggle has gone on, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I don’t have to hold on by my own strength. He is giving me all the strength I need (Philippians 4:13).
  2. I am expecting great victories in the face of great impossibilities (Joshua 11:20).
  3. I will not be defeated, and I will not quit! Devil, you think you’ve won, but you haven’t. I am more than a conqueror. I will see the victory. His plans for me are good and not evil–to give me a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
  4. God always causes me to triumph. That means I will prevail in this situation. I am expecting a breakthrough, and I’ll wait as long as it takes. If God is for me, who can possibly be against me (2 Corinthians 2:14)?
  5. I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. I expect blessings to chase me down and overtake me. Every tongue that rises against me will be shown to be in the wrong. No weapon formed against me, my finances, my health, my family, or my ministry will ever prosper (Deuteronomy 28:13).
  6. I am going to praise God no matter what happens. I am going to praise Him for His goodness and for His mercy. I am going to shout and sing praises to Jesus, Hallelujah! I am going to praise Him like Paul and Silas did until all the chains are broken and every door is open in my life in Jesus’ Name (1 Thessalonians 5:18)!
  7. When I am tired and the trials of life seem to overwhelm me, I will find my strength in the Lord and His promises for me. God gives power to me when I am faint and weary. In my weakness, He increases strength in me. I wait for Him, and He renews my strength and power. I will lift up with wings of strength and rise as an eagle. I shall run and not be weary. I shall walk and not faint or become tired. I thank You right now for increased strength. My hope is in You, and You continually renew my strength and power. I will run my course and not grow weary in well doing, and I will walk and not become faint or tired. I have all the strength I need to accomplish all that God has called me to do (Isaiah 40:29,31)!

Your words will get you there or hold you back, so choose wisely! Begin today with this confession to live above only and not beneath.

In the Name of Jesus, I declare….

I am blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

I am the head and not the tail in my finances, my family, my health, my job and my ministry–not just sometimes, but all the time. Every day, in every way, I am the head and not the tail. I don’t have to beg for promotions or raises. They are given to me.

My marriage is blessed, my children are blessed, my home is blessed. Our relationships are strong and defy every attack of the enemy. There is a supernatural love and warmth present in our home. No weapon formed against our family will prosper.

My work is blessed. I am always at the top. I receive promotions and raises that are supernatural. They come on far more quickly and more frequently than what anyone would normally expect. I have supernatural and amazing opportunities given to me.

My business is abundantly blessed. I receive contracts and deals that supersede anything I could ever imagine. God is working mightily in my business, and I am at the TOP of my industry every day in every way. I break records and receive increase year after year.

My ministry is booming! I receive supernatural opportunities and income. I am reaching far more people than I ever imagined possible. I am living at the TOP. I am above criticism, not beneath. I am above recessions, not beneath. I am above unfair treatment, not beneath.

Everyone who rises against me will be defeated. They will come at me from one direction but flee from me in seven. Every tongue that rises against me will be shown to be in the wrong.

Everything I put my hand to prospers and succeeds. God is opening the windows of heaven for me. He is sending rain on my land and my life in season to bless all the work of my hands. I will lend to many, but I will not borrow. I am always at the top and never at the bottom.

I fully obey the Lord my God and carefully follow all His commands. I do this knowing that it is the only way to receive what I have just declared. I declare that God’s Word is alive in me and giving me wisdom beyond my own ability to walk in His ways and be pleasing to Him.

Get in the habit of speaking these kinds of confessions to live above only and not beneath everywhere you go–on your way to work, when you’re working in the yard–continually. Train yourself to be an above-only, not a beneath-kind of thinker. Then, expect to be at the top in every area of your life–always.

How To Live Above Only and Not Beneath

When David’s enemies stole his family and then burned his home city, and everything in it, to the ground, he wept until he couldn’t weep anymore. Then, he had a choice–he could either accept the loss, feel like a victim, and fall into self-pity, or he could encourage himself in the Lord, gather up his men, pursue, and recover everything and then some. He chose the latter! And he came back with everything that belonged to him. PLUS, he plundered the enemy’s camp and brought all the spoils back with him!

Whatever the devil has stolen from you–time, relationships, money or health–it’s time to recover it all. It’s time to charge into the devil’s camp with these 7 Confessions To Take Back What the Devil Has Stolen that you can declare in faith.

I declare in the Name of Jesus…

1. The favor of God in my life restores everything the enemy has stolen from me (Exodus 3:21).

2. I am expecting great victories in the face of great impossibilities (Joshua 11:20).

3. I have found the thief, and he must restore to me seven times what he stole (Proverbs 6:31).

4. I am pursuing total restoration of my money, time, opportunities, health and relationships; and I will, without fail, recover all (1 Samuel 30:6-8).

5. I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. I expect blessings to chase me down and overtake me. Every tongue that rises against me will be shown to be in the wrong. No weapon formed against me, my finances, my health, my family or my ministry will ever prosper (Deuteronomy 28:13).

6. God is turning my situation around right now. As I obey Him and praise Him with a grateful heart, my faith and trust in Him is opening the door for a total and complete restoration of everything that has been stolen (Romans 8:28).

7. I am more than a conqueror! I am not only recovering everything that has been stolen from me, but I am going to a new level beyond that in Jesus’ Name (Romans 8:37)!

As you speak these declarations over your life, let their truth permeate your spirit. Resolve to only speak victory over your situation from this day forward. Then, listen for the direction of the Holy Spirit. He will lead and guide you to the place where you can reclaim everything that has ever been stolen. God is the God of restoration!
