Real Help Topic: Pray

No matter what is happening in America–we are called to stay in unity as Christians. Here is a prayer to help you stand in faith for unity in America.

Politics and elections can seem to challenge unity in America, and in the Church, more than anything else. But, this is nothing new. Envying, strife and divisions had reduced the early Corinthian Christians back to the natural, or carnal, state that they were in before they were born again. It had so stunted their spiritual growth that they couldn’t understand the things the Apostle Paul wanted to teach them. See 1 Corinthians 3: 1-3.

Satan has sent the same spirit of division among us today. He knows that a house divided against itself will fall (Mark 3:25). He also knows if we all come together in the unity of our faith, we’ll arrive at the full stature of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 4:13). So, he has assigned a spirit of division to operate in our personal lives, our church lives, our social lives and in the political realm. His goal is the same as it was in Corinth: to bring envying, strife and division, and to stunt our spiritual growth.

But we don’t have to yield to that spirit.

Instead, we must stand strong against division and look at people the way God does–as unique individuals. God doesn’t look at color, gender or any other factor. He sees people in two groups–those who know Him and those who don’t. That is the only way we will be divided in the end when Jesus comes.

The good news is–you can resist division and pray for unity in America, especially among believers. Here is a prayer for unity in America you can pray in faith:

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for this great nation–the United States of America. I thank You that it was founded on Your Word, and faith in You alone. I thank You that this nation is blessed because of this foundation, and we desire to continue to live under a banner of blessing through our obedience to You.

Father, I know our strength as believers lies in our unity because Your Word says a house divided against itself cannot stand. So, today, in the Name of Jesus, I come against the spirit of division and strife in the Body of Christ. I cast down every attempt by the enemy to divide believers into separate groups. I refuse to accept the worldview that I must be part of a group such as race, gender, class or any other group. I am a Christian. That is where I stand–that is where I find my identity–in You and only in You.

I bind up the enemy’s attempts to divide me from my fellow believers, and I declare today that I will stand in the unity of faith with my brothers and sisters in Christ. If I have a difference of political opinion, I will humble myself and compare my views to the Word of God to make my final decision.

Lord, help me to resist the influences of friends, family or media that may try to sway me away from the Word of God. Help me to fill my heart and mind with the truth in Your Word and stand on it–immovable, unshakable and firm in my faith.

Father, breathe a fresh wind of unity over this nation. Let Your Holy Spirit dominate every area of our government, our churches, our schools and our homes. Help us, as believers, to walk in love and unity together, so that all may see that we are one and know the power of the one true, living God.

I praise You and thank You for it, in Jesus’ Name.

Amen.

Need a change in your finances? Here’s what the power of agreement in finances can do in your life.

“If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:19, NKJV).

Did you know there’s one area of God’s BLESSING in your life that involves other people? That’s the unique thing about the material world–you can’t function there by yourself. You can receive healing between just you and Jesus. But you can’t buy something or sell something by yourself. Finances involve an exchange of some kind with other people. You can’t give by yourself, and you can’t receive by yourself.

So, when you’re looking to operate in financial blessing and dominion, a big part of the system of God’s financial kingdom is coming into agreement with others. When that happens, God is there to carry out that agreement–to back you in binding satan and shutting down his operation where you are concerned.

The prayer of agreement is one of the most powerful tools God has given us as believers. It is the prayer that Jesus Himself guaranteed would bring results every time. Believers agreeing together in the Holy Spirit are a powerful, unstoppable force.

What is an agreement?

A biblical agreement is based on the Word of God. Some people think that as long as you just have more than one person in a room praying, you have agreement. But that’s not true agreement. If you want to get into true biblical agreement with someone or even a group of people, all parties must be standing on the Word of the living God. It is central to the prayer.

How do you pray in agreement?

  1. Establish your heart on God’s Word. The prayer of agreement should be based on the Word. Find scriptures that cover your request. That Word from God is the faith foundation of your prayer. Now you are agreeing on something God has already said. If you’re praying with religious tradition or without standing on the Word of God in total and complete faith, you’re wasting your time, and you won’t achieve what you’re after. That means, when you walk away, if you aren’t certain it’s done, you didn’t agree–you’re just hoping it comes to pass.
  2. Fix your mind on the Word. Once the agreement is settled, continue to minister to your faith and feed your faith on the foundation of that agreement. The scriptures you stood on–those that guarantee the answer–should be the focus of your attention. The devil will come and mess with your mind to get you to doubt what you agreed upon, but don’t give in!
  3. Keep out of fear and worry. If you walk away from your prayer of agreement and fall into fear or worry, you’re already losing the battle. Stay prepared all the time. Don’t wait for an emergency to begin feeding your faith. If you do that, you’ll need to find someone else who can help you, because you won’t always have the faith strength to get you through.
  4. Act as if it’s done. This is where many people miss it. You have to act on your faith. Don’t leave your prayer closet and start wringing your hands and speaking fear and unbelief. Speak the desired end result. Speak what you just agreed on. Refuse to act like that issue is a problem anymore. When someone asks you about it, say: “Glory to God, that issue is handled.”

Scriptures for Financial Prosperity

When you come into agreement with others, or ask someone to stand in agreement with you, make sure to stand on the Word and keep the focus of your attention fixed there. Keep out of fear and worry, and then act as if it has already come to pass. There are many scriptures to stand on for financial prosperity. Here are a few to get you started:

Psalm 1:1-2: “Blessed is the man…[whose] delight is in the law of the Lord…. Whatever he does shall prosper” (NKJV).

Proverbs 22:4: “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life” (NKJV).

Joshua 1:8: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (NKJV).

Psalm 84:11: “No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (AMP).

Proverbs 10:22: “The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it” (NLT).

2 Corinthians 9:8: “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others” (NLT).

Jeremiah 17:7-8: “Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit” (NLT).

Proverbs 3:9-10: “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine” (NKJV).

God’s Word is always the answer to your prayer. Always. If you’re facing a financial trial today, find someone who is filled with faith and believes the Word of God to come into agreement with you. Your miracle is one agreement away from manifestation!

If you’ve faced overwhelming loss, repeated failures or betrayals of trust, hope may feel far from you. You know the key to receiving from God is standing in hope on His promises, yet you need supernatural help to get there.

God wants you to have hope–no matter what. His plans for you are exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). But, He needs you to be on the same page He is, in line with His Word, to be in position to receive.

No matter how hopeless your situation may seem, you can have hope, and you can renew the hope and excitement for life you once had. Here is a prayer to help you get there:

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You that You are the God who has given us all hope through Christ Jesus, who won victory over every need and situation in our lives on the cross.

Lord, I thank You that I was healed of all hurts and disappointments that day, and I stand and receive deliverance from all fear in Jesus’ Name. I know You haven’t given me that spirit of fear, so I rebuke it right now and replace it with a supernatural spirit of expectancy.

Your Word says I am not to fear.  So, I am strong and courageous because You are with me, and I can have hope in Your unfailing love.

Today, I release the cares of all past failures, rejections, shortcomings and disappointments to You. Help me not to carry them anymore, but to look forward to the prize You have for me.

I plead the blood of Jesus over my hopes and dreams. I declare now that I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Nothing can stop me from the plan You have for me but my own doubts and fears. So, I bind those up today and cast them into the sea. I lay hold of Your promises and stand on them as I build my hope once again.

Thank You, Father, for the hope that is in Christ Jesus.

Amen.

Your hope is rising! Lay hold of God’s promises today, and receive His supernatural hope. Keep feeding on and speaking the Word over your life every day. Start dreaming again, and have the courage to believe!

9 Reasons to Have Hope–No Matter What!

How to Keep Your Hopes Alive

Thanksgiving is a blessed opportunity to gather together with family members from near and far. It is a time when many will travel to visit those they may not have seen for years. As you gather around the table with loved ones, a special moment is set aside to thank God for His blessings and abundance. For some, this will be a rare opportunity to pray with nonbelieving relatives, as well.

Whatever your goal in this year’s Thanksgiving prayer, you can stand before God and present the truth of His Word to your family, as reflected in the following prayer:

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for this time that we come together in a spirit of gratitude and thanksgiving. Thank You, God, for Your goodness and Your grace to every person here. Thank You that You have provided for all our needs abundantly at the Cross.

I pray right now over every member of this family–those seated among us–and those who were not able to gather here. I thank You, God, that it is Your perfect will that not one of us be burdened with sickness or disease. So, we take healing right now in Jesus’ Name. We curse every attempt of the enemy against any and every member of this family right now in the Name of Jesus.

I plead the blood of Jesus over every person under the sound of my voice. I speak Psalm 91 protection over them and declare that angels protect them wherever they go.

For those who do not know You, Lord, I pray right now that Your love, mercy and grace would overwhelm them–that they might see and know how much You love them, to the point of dying to save them. Help them to know that no matter what they’ve done, You love them, and when they come to You, they are forgiven. Cause them to see that the Great Hope we have in this life is because we have been made Your sons and daughters.

We thank You for blessing us as a family, for blessing this nation, and for blessing Your Church. We ask that You would use us to further Your Kingdom and obey You in all things.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

How to Take Your Place at God’s Table of BLESSING

Heavenly Father, I thank You for my husband and for the gift he is to my life. I thank You that he is a man of integrity and that our entire family is blessed to have him as our leader.

I stand in faith believing that he has favor with You and every person with whom he comes in contact. I pray that he follows Your command to love You with all his heart, all his soul, all his strength and all his mind. I stand in faith believing that he will trust You with every spiritual, emotional, physical, relational and financial situation in his life and not lean on his own understanding; but instead, he’ll seek You in all he does, knowing that You will show him every step he should take. I pray that he will have a deep desire to read, study and meditate on Your Word so that he can apply it to every part of his life. I also stand in faith that he loves those around him as himself; that he will clothe himself with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; and that he will always walk in forgiveness, never letting offense take root in his heart.

I thank You, Father, that every need is met in my husband’s life and that he walks in prosperity and THE BLESSING. I recognize that every good and perfect thing in His life is from You, and I give You the glory for all You have done and are continuing to do for him. I ask You to show me how to be the wife he needs me to be so that I can be a blessing to him. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:4-6; Psalm 119:14-16; Luke 10:27; Proverbs 20:7; Colossian 3:12-13; Deuteronomy 2

“The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord” (Proverbs 18:22, NLT).

Your wife is a vital part of your life. She is your partner, your lover, the mother of your children, your friend. She’s the one who encourages you during your setbacks and celebrates you during your successes. And one of the best ways to show how much she means to you is to pray for her daily and speak the Word over her.

Here is a Bible-based prayer you can pray for her:

Dear Father, I thank You for my wife. She is more precious to me than rubies. I trust her and am so grateful for how much she blesses my life. Today, I come to You especially on her behalf. I pray that You bless her–spirit, mind and body–for who she is and for all that she does for our family and our home. I thank You that she is smart, hardworking, healthy and prosperous in everything she does. I thank You that she is respected, favored and loved by her family, friends, neighbors and co-workers; and I pray that they see what a treasure she is. I ask that You continue to draw her to You so that she would know how wide, how long, how high and how deep Your love is for her. Though there are many honorable and capable women in the world, I’m so thankful to have my wife with me as my partner, my lover and my friend. I give You all the glory for bringing her into my life and for teaching me every day how to be the husband she needs me to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

May God bless you as you continually pray for your wife!

Let’s look at Mark 11:23-24, which says, “I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.”

These very familiar verses have to do with praying in faith, or praying to get results. Here are three steps to take if you want to have your prayers answered:

1. Go to The WORD When You Need to Get Your Prayer Answered

Find out what The WORD says about the problem, and then pray according to that WORD.  First John 5:14-15, KJV, says that when we ask anything according to His will, we know He hears us and we know we have the petitions we desired of Him. When you pray according to God’s WORD, which is His will, then you know that your prayer is answered.

2. Use Jesus’ Name When You Need to Get Your Prayer Answered

Jesus said, “At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name” (John 16:23). When you use the Name of Jesus in prayer, you get the ear of God. Peter wrote that the eyes of God are over the righteous and His ears are open to their prayers. You don’t have to pray until you get God’s attention. He is listening for your prayer. You have His attention all the time.

3. Include Praise and Thanksgiving When You Need to Get Your Prayer Answered

Philippians 4:6 says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Thanksgiving and praise is an integral part of the prayer. When you believe that God will answer your prayer, then you begin to praise Him for the answer. You thank God that it is done for you.

When you are faced with a problem–a problem that requires an answer from your heavenly Father–put these steps into practice during your prayer time. Know what The WORD says about your situation, pray in the Name of Jesus, and worship The LORD for what He has done and will do. By believing God in that situation, and acting on The WORD, you are applying faith to it. And in time, your answer will come!

Do you need a dose of God’s favor today? If you are a child of God then you already have it. But if you need to remind yourself of God’s goodness, grace and favor in your life, then pray these four scriptures over yourself.

Be sure to insert your name and pray out loud so you can hear what God’s Word truly says about you!

  • Ephesians 2:8: “For by grace [I] have been saved through faith, and that not of [myself]; it is the gift of God” (NKJV).
  • Romans 5:8: “But God showed his great love for [me] by sending Christ to die for [me] while [I was] still [a] sinner.”
  •  Psalm 5:12: “For you bless the godly, O Lord; you surround [me] with your shield of love.”
  • 2 Peter 1:2: “May God give [me] more and more grace and peace as [I] grow in [my] knowledge of God and Jesus [my] Lord.”

Begin thanking the Lord right now that you are enjoying His favor in every area of your life. Then make sure to read and meditate over the promises God gave concerning His people in Deuteronomy 28. As you do, remind yourself that you walk in the favor of God each and every day!

If you’re one of God’s children, He’s redeemed you from the curse of infertility. If you want to have children of your own, this scriptural prayer is a great place to start. Print it out and pray it every single day until your bundle of joy arrives!

Father, as Your children, we come to You and remind You that we have been redeemed from the curse of the law, and You have promised us all the blessings of Abraham. We are in a covenant with You, and we expect You to fulfill the conditions of that covenant.

Father, we desire to have a baby, and since Your Word says that children are a gift from You, we expect a normal, healthy baby to be sent to us.

Since [insert name] has been redeemed from the curse, we expect her to carry that child full term. Your Word says You will bless the fruit of her womb, and Your Word says she will lose none of her young by miscarriage or be barren, and that You will keep her safe through childbearing. Since she is no longer under the curse, she will be able to have this child the way You originally planned Eve to have children–free from pain and suffering, and pangs and spasms of distress. So, we expect this child to be brought into the world quickly and with no pain. We believe she will feel the contractions but not pain. We believe, according to Your Word, that she will have a beautiful pregnancy with no suffering during it.

Thank You, Father, for hearing and answering our prayers and for faithfully watching over Your Word to perform it. We know You have given Your angels charge over us to accompany and defend and preserve us in all our ways.

Now, Satan, you hear the Word of God. We speak it to you and command you to take your hands off us, God’s children, in the Name of Jesus. We break all assignments you have put up against us and forbid you to hinder this pregnancy or childbirth in any way. We bind you and the Word of God declares that whatever we bind on this earth is bound in heaven, and whatever we loose is loosed in heaven. And we loose the peace of God to flood our hearts right now, in Jesus’ Name.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering our prayers. We love You and we appreciate You and look forward to seeing this precious little love You have especially created just for us.

The purpose of every Christian’s life is to be a blessing to all the families of the earth. God has things for you to do–wherever you are. Whether you are in full-time ministry or working in a convenience store, whether you are studying for your doctorate in chemical engineering or caring for your grandchildren at home, God’s purpose for you is the same. (Find out what it is in this article!) As you contemplate the purpose God has for your life, read and ponder these seven scriptures. Let them minister to you–wherever you are!

  1. Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.”
  2. Jeremiah 29:11 “‘I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'”
  3. Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
  4. Ephesians 3:20 “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
  5. Philippians 2:13 “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”
  6. Romans 8:28 “We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
  7. John 10:10 “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”

Allow these scriptures to encourage you and remind you that God’s purpose for your life is to be a blessing, doing His work in the world. God bless you!

As Christian parents, we can become tempted to let worry and fear shake the trust we have in God. Whether it’s the evening news, social media rants or even the comments of a well-meaning neighbor, the enemy will use whatever he can to bring fear and doubt into our lives–especially regarding our young children. That’s why it’s so important to guard our thoughts and the words we speak and to pray protection over our children. We serve a mighty God who has given us His Word and the ability to speak health and safety over our children. Here are four verses to speak and pray over our children daily.

1. God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7, NLT).

This verse reminds us and our children that they can face any situation with courage, because God is on their side. This is also a great verse to keep in mind when we find ourselves becoming fearful about the everyday dangers our children may face out in the world.

2. You are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory (Psalm 32:7, NLT)

As we speak this over our children, we can remember that even if trouble rises up all around them, they can rest in the presence and safety of God. We can teach our children to call on His Name in times of trouble, and He will respond.

3. No weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken! (Isaiah 54:17, NLT)

We can claim this verse over our children to protect them from physical harm as well as emotional harm, such as the unkind words that children so often use against one another.

4. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe (Psalm 4:8, NLT)

Bedtime is a great time for this verse, both for real and imagined dangers. Children sometimes need extra reassurance against things that appear scary in the dark.

We can trust that God will bring His Word to pass. We can speak and pray protection over our children with these verses as we infuse our homes with protection, peace and grace.

Raising teenagers is work…a lot of work that takes love, dedication and prayer. Teenagers are at a critical time in their lives when they are making more and more decisions about how they will live and what they will believe. As they maneuver through these important years toward adulthood, they need us to pray protection over them–spirit, mind and body. Here are five scriptures to get you started:

1. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7, NLT).

In addition to speaking and praying this scripture yourself, it is a great verse to teach to your teenagers, so they can learn to stand against fear and timidity. Then, you can trust that God has provided the power, love and self-discipline they need to make good choices.

2. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory (Psalm 32:7, NLT)

As you speak this over your teenagers, you can remember that even if trouble rises all around them, they can rest in the presence and safety of God. This is a great verse to teach your teenagers, too, so they can learn to call on His Name in times of trouble, knowing that He will respond.

3. No weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken (Isaiah 54:17, NLT)!

No matter where your teenagers go or who they meet, they can know that God is on their side. He protects them physically, emotionally and relationally. You can stand in faith on this verse knowing that He will protect them even when you can’t.

4. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe (Psalm 4:8, NLT).

No matter where your teenagers are–spending the night with friends or sleeping away at camp–you can pray this verse over them and trust that they are safe.

5. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11, NLT).

As your teenagers prepare to leave home, you can remind them that God has a plan for them and that those plans are good and not evil. Regardless of what the news media or political forecasters proclaim, they can know with certainty that God has a good future planned for them.

Even now, begin meditating on these scriptures–pray them, think about them, speak them. Let the truth that they contain bring you peace and remind you that God cares for your teenagers completely–spirit, mind and body!

We are going to now speak to the spirit of strife over this nation. It is stopping! It is stopping! I am commanding it to stop! And I have an unction on me about this. I just sense that it’s the word of the Lord Himself that is pointing His finger and saying, “Stop it right now! Stop this business right now!”

In the Name of Jesus we speak to the spirit of strife in Jesus’ Name. I command you to stop it right now! You stop this! I command you in the Name above every name. You stop this fighting! You stop this bickering! And you get focused on the deliverance of this nation. You get focused on the new birth of this nation. You get focused on the outpouring of the Holy Spirit over this nation, and you stop it right now. The division between the Democratic Party, the Republican Party and within the Republican Party, I say, “Stop in the Name of Jesus!”

By the authority of the blood of Jesus shed for us, by the authority of the Name of Jesus given to us as believers, and we call as a congregation–we call on the Name of the Lord. Rulers of strife assigned by the prince and king of darkness, you stop in your maneuvers now!

The Lord Jesus appeared to Brother Kenneth Hagin years ago and said, “Those wicked spirits in heavenly places”–and you can see. You can see manifestations of this in the book of Daniel when Gabriel told Daniel that the spirit of Persia fought him. See, that was back before Jesus defeated him in hell. And he said, “When I leave, the spirit of Greece is going to come.” Those are the wicked spirits driving the leaders of those nations.

We have allowed wicked spirits in heavenly places to function in this nation when we never should have put up with it–it’s the Church that’s to blame for it.

The Lord Jesus said to Brother Hagin, “You take authority over those rulers of the darkness of this world, and I’ll take care of the wicked spirits in the heavenlies.” Lord Jesus, we have bound the rulers of the darkness–these strife rulers attempting to destroy the United States of America, attempting to destroy the Democratic Party and the Republican Party and everything else that we’re involved in. We have bound them in Your blood, and in Your Name. And now, Sir, by faith –

Yes, Sir. Oh I see it. I got it. Thank You. I got it. Thank You, Lord. John 14:14, “If you shall ask anything in My Name, I’ll do it.” Now people have mistaken that as a prayer scripture, but it isn’t. Because the word ask in the Greek is “demand.” “Whatever you demand in My Name, I’ll back it.” That’s what happened at the Beautiful Gate when Peter and John, in the Name of Jesus, demanded that fellow to walk. And, Jesus backed him. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we thank You and praise You, Sir. Now, we make a demand on Your Name that the wicked spirits in the heavenly places desist in their maneuvers against the United States. In the Name of Jesus they must come down from their place of authority! And we turn it over to You, Sir. Knock them down from there. Knock them down from there. I believe I receive this today.

Join in agreement with Kenneth Copeland as he prays for and receives the supernatural strength God promised us.

Heavenly Father, I come to you now on behalf of my __(pet)__, ____(name)____. You know that I love my pet like a member of my family.

I know that you created all animals, and you gave man dominion over them. You cared enough to have Adam name each species. And, You said in Matthew chapter 6 that you feed and care for the birds, so I believe you take care of all living creatures.

Now, I pray, because of Your love for me, that You bless ____(name)___, and keep him/her safe from all harm. I believe that I receive, because I have prayed in faith.

Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“Father God,

We come to you in Jesus’ Name to pray for Israel. In Psalm 122:6, Your Word says we should pray for the peace of Jerusalem, so we know it’s Your will to bless Israel and all the people who live there. We ask You, Father, to keep them safe in this time of unrest. And, we thank You, Lord, that no weapon that is formed against Israel shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for You are protecting them according to Your Word.

In addition, we pray for the people of Israel and the country itself to be healed and prosperous, because in Psalm 23:6 we are told that goodness and mercy follow those who have called you their Shepherd.

Let this supernatural protection and deliverance cause many people who hear of it to give glory to You, Sir (Jeremiah 33:9).

Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

People often get discouraged when praying for the salvation of loved ones and begin to wonder if their prayers ever really help. Well, guess what? Yes! Your prayers can be a powerful force in the lives of your unsaved relatives and friends if you know how to pray for them according to the wisdom and Word of God.

The problem is that most Christians don’t know how to pray with skill. They just throw prayers in every direction and hope something comes of it. That’s especially true when it comes to praying for the lost. It’s not uncommon to see believers praying for friends or loved ones to get saved for 20, 30 or even 40 years without results.

What exactly are these people praying? It usually boils down to something like this: “Oh, God, please save my brother. He needs to be saved.” (Don’t you think God knows he needs saving?) Then they might go a step further and start rehearsing their brother’s sins: “Lord, he got drunk again last night and we had to bail him out of jail again. If You don’t save him, he’s going to drive us all crazy!”

That may sound funny–the example is a little extreme to make a point–but many of us have prayed prayers that sounded something like that.

What we haven’t understood is this: There’s nothing wrong with your unsaved loved one (or any other unsaved person) except the devil. No human being who truly understood the salvation Jesus has offered to us would reject that salvation of his own free will. No one!

Why, then, are so many people still unsaved? II Corinthians 4:4 tells us it is because “the god of this world [the devil] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

Once you realize it’s the devil (not your loved one) who’s the real problem, your first prayer step becomes clear. You must get the devil out of your loved one’s way.

As Jesus said, “How can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?” (Matthew 12:29). You can’t! So bind him.

Say, “You spirit operating in the life of my loved one, blinding              to the gospel to keep              out of the kingdom of God, I bind you now. I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. I carry His authority and righteousness, and in His Name I command you to desist in your maneuvers. I spoil your house according to the Word of God and I enter into it to deliver my loved one from your hands.”

Now, you may not be able to cast that devil entirely out of the situation, because your loved one may invite him back in faster than you can cast him out. But you can bind that spirit and keep it bound. It may keep you busy for a while, but you can do it.

You’ll find your next prayer step in Matthew 9:37-38. There, Jesus was looking out at the multitudes who needed ministry and He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

It’s the Word of God that brings faith for salvation: “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). So you need to see to it that the Word gets into your loved one’s heart.

“How?” you say, “My loved one won’t listen to me!”

Probably not, but God knows who your loved one will listen to, and He’ll send that person halfway around the world to talk to your loved one if necessary.

So pray to the Lord of the harvest: “Father, I’m asking You to send laborers across             ‘s path, laborers who are equipped with the Word of God about salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing and deliverance. Send laborers who can communicate effectively with              so Your Word can reach his/her heart.”

Once you’ve prayed for your loved one like that, from then on, put your faith in action by treating your loved one like he’s/she’s saved. Don’t treat your loved one like he’s/she’s not good. On the contrary, every time you see your loved one, say, “Praise God! Isn’t it good to know Jesus?” Then just stand back and watch how things change. You’ll be amazed.

It’s happened many times. And it can happen that way for you and your loved one. So don’t give up. Get smart! Start praying according to the Word and praying by faith…and you will see the salvation of the Lord!

Here is a sample prayer for your unsaved loved ones. As you speak God’s Word, remember that it will not return to Him void. It will prosper in the thing whereto it is sent (Isaiah 55:11):

“Father, I come before You in prayer and in faith, believing. Your Word says You desire all men to be saved and come into the knowledge of the truth, so I bring ________ before You this day.

“I break the power of Satan from his assignments and activities in             ‘s life in the Name of Jesus. Now, while Satan is bound, I ask that You send forth the perfect laborers to share the good news of the gospel in such a way that              will listen and understand it. As the truth is ministered, I believe              will open his/her eyes to the gospel, come out of the snare of the devil and make Jesus Lord.

“Father, I ask that You fill              with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. As I intercede in his/her behalf, I believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is activated, and from this moment on, I shall praise and thank You for             ‘s salvation. I am confident that You are alert and active, watching over Your Word to perform it. It will not return to You void. It will accomplish that which You please and prosper in the thing whereto it was sent.

“Therefore, my confession of faith is: ‘God has begun a good work in             ‘s life and He will perform it and bring it to full completion until the day of Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ Name.'”

Heavenly Father, I bring _____________ before Your throne, and I refuse to worry about them. You promise that if I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, I will be saved along with everyone in my household. I believe, Lord, so I know my family members are saved. You are a place of safety for them and You will rescue them from every trap. You will bear them up in Your hands lest they dash their foot against a stone. You have given Your angels charge over them to protect them in all their ways.

Your Word is true and I believe it. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that the Word of God prevails over my family members. Your Word says You will contend with him who contends with me, and You give safety to my family members and bless them day by day. They are blessed when they come in and when they go out. I believe they find favor, good understanding and high esteem in Your sight, Lord, and in the sight of man.

I confess that my family members are disciples taught of the Lord and obedient to Your will. Great is their peace and undisturbed composure! I commit them to Your keeping and I know and have confident trust that they are watched over and blessed of the Lord all the days of their lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Lord, let Your Holy Spirit be poured out from heaven upon our family. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops. I pray justice will rule in the wilderness and righteousness in the fertile field and this righteousness will bring peace in our family. I pray it will bring quietness and confidence forever. I pray my family will live in safety, quietly at home, and they will be at rest with one another.

You say if we ask for wisdom, You will give it to us generously, so I ask that You give us wisdom from above–wisdom which is first of all pure, peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds, shows no favoritism and is always sincere. I pray we will be peacemakers in our family and we will plant seeds of peace with one another and reap a harvest of righteousness. In Jesus’ Name.

Father, I’m going to live my life anxious for nothing. I pray with thanksgiving about everything, making my requests known to You. Your peace, which passes all understanding, keeps my heart and mind through Jesus Christ.

You will keep me in perfect peace for my mind is fixed on You. I trust in You. I seek peace and pursue it. I know Your peace will rule in my heart and my ways will please You so that You will make even my enemies to be at peace with me.

I pray I’ll be like a tree planted by the water whose roots are deep, and that I won’t be nervous about the heat or worried by long months of drought because I trust in You and my hope and confidence are in You.

Thank You, Lord, that You lead me with peace of heart and mind. The peace You give me is a gift the world cannot give. I’ll not let my heart be anxious or afraid. I won’t lean to my own understanding. I’ll trust in You with all my heart. Amen!

Father, according to Your Word, I’ll be anxious for nothing. I pray with thanksgiving about everything, making my requests known to You. And Your peace, which passes all understanding, keeps my heart and mind through Jesus Christ.

I pray You will keep me in perfect peace for my mind is fixed on You–because I trust in You. I seek peace and pursue it. I pray Your peace will rule in my heart and my ways will please You so that You will make even my enemies to be at peace with me!

Thank You, Lord, that You leave Your peace with me. The peace You give me is not as the world gives. I’ll not let my heart be troubled or afraid, but I’ll trust in You with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding of things around me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Join Kenneth Copeland as he demonstrates how to believe and speak to your body for complete healing from the top of your head to the soles of your feet.

First John 5:18 says, “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not.” This doesn’t mean that if you sin you’re not born of God. It means if you’re born of God, you don’t practice sin–you’re doing your best to keep out of it. You could say it this way: “Whosoever is born of love sinneth not.” So, a step out of love is a step into sin. The second part of that verse says, “but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” When you’re born of God, you’re born of love. When you’re walking the love walk, you can laugh in satan’s face. He can’t harm you when you’re walking in love.

Thank You, Lord, for helping me to walk in love. Because I am born again, I have been born of love. Faith works by love, so I know that if I can’t walk in love with others, there is no way faith is going to work in my life. I will walk in the Word, so that I can be protected at all times and the wicked one will not be able to touch me. Ephesians 6:16 says faith quenches all the fiery darts of the wicked one–not part of them, all of them. The devil, I refuse to give you any power in my life! I allow myself to be moved by love and compassion, so that I can be ready to fulfill anything God has called me to do. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Thank You, Lord, for the measure of faith You have given me. I refuse to be moved by outward circumstances, but only by what Your Word says. I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and I will not lean upon my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Thank You for saving me! Ephesians 2:8 says, “it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God…”All of the precious gifts You have given me: salvation, healing, prosperity, etc., are connected to my faith, and it’s impossible to please You without it. I will keep Your commandments, walk in love, stay in the Word and live by faith!

When we commit our ways to the Lord, He will do what only He can do: prosper us and give us success! Proverbs 16:3 says, “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.”

I roll every care and concern over on You, Lord. I want my thoughts to line up with Your thoughts, so that my plans will be successful. I believe Your Word is true, and You delight in my success!

Father, You have redeemed me from the darkness of this world. I refuse to allow strife, envy, jealousy, past failures, unforgiveness or doubt to operate in my life! Please show me those things that would hinder my prayers (or distract me) so that they can be positive and productive! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God is always with me and I believe He hears my prayers. James 4:8 says, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you….” Thank You, Lord, for drawing near to me in my time of need. I stand firmly on Hebrews 4:16: “Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].” There is no fear in me. I receive mercy where I have failed and I boldly and confidently approach the throne of grace, where I know I will receive timely help, because God loves me.

God has a plan for your life. He has prearranged a good life for you to live. He’s got a path for you to walk in and the Spirit of God has been sent to dwell in you and help you come into that place that God has for you.

“‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.'” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Maybe you haven’t been walking with God, or you’re in a bad situation with negative circumstances surrounding you. But God has a plan for you! And He can get you into that plan. You may have been detoured or sidetracked, but God will make a way. If you’ll pray and listen to the Spirit of God, He’ll tell you how to come to that place that He has for you. And the plan He has for you is not a plan without hope and a future. Isn’t that good?

God has blessings and a good life that He’s arranged and made ready for you. He’s just waiting for you to listen and obey Him. Let’s pray to hear God’s voice better and discover the marvelous plan He has for us!

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we desire the indwelling of Your Spirit.  We desire to be led by Your Spirit.  We want the Spirit of God to take hold with us against the things that confront us–to be our Helper and our Strengthener. So we look to You and we expect the Holy Spirit to strengthen us with might in our inner man. We expect the Holy Spirit to come to our aid and to bear us up in our weakness, so that we are overcomers and not defeated. We expect the Holy Spirit to lead and to guide us into all the truth and to individually teach us and reveal to us the path that God has for our lives. And we agree that we shall walk in the perfect will of God for our lives. And we thank You for it, we believe for it and we are expecting to hear from heaven. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Father God, today I stand in the gap for my children. I thank You that Your mercy hovers over them. I pray that You would soften their hearts and keep them open to the leading of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ Name, satan I bind you from so much as sowing a seed of rebellion in the hearts of my little ones. They are the fruit of my womb and they are BLESSED!

Stand in faith for your children today, not giving the enemy any place in their lives. Let them know how much you love them!

Father God, I lift my children before You today. Guard their hearts and minds and watch over them with special care. Give me wisdom on how to raise them both through my example and my actions. I commit to love them in prayer and love them in all I do. I want to raise faith warriors for You! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Love your children through your actions–and example–today. Choose to get involved and raise them in faith, not fear!

Father, today I stand in the Name of Jesus, choosing to love, choosing to put envy and strife behind me. I don’t want to give the enemy any place in my relationships. Holy Spirit, when envy or strife arise, help me to identify it quickly and turn the situation around by living a life of thanksgiving and praise. Be my guide–so that I may live a blessed life! Amen!

Stop strife before it starts. Walk in love and an attitude of thankfulness and watch God move on your behalf!

Father, I purge myself from everything displeasing to You. I want to be a vessel fitted, ready, filled and useful for the glory of God. I make myself available to You, fit and ready for any good work. I offer myself fully to You–spirit, mind and body. Make me a vessel of honor. I lift up my family, fellow believers, my government and my business to You. Show me through Your Word how to honor others and live honorably. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Think about ways you can give honor to your parents, to your fellow believers, to those whose authority you’re under, and to those with whom you do business. Make a quality decision to live a life of honor today. Keep an honorable attitude in all you do and let it be a witness to everyone around you.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I make a fresh commitment to You to live in peace and harmony–not only with my brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ, but with my friends, associates, neighbors, and family. I choose to walk in love today. I choose not to be selfish, touchy, fretful or resentful. I let go of all bitterness, envying, strife, and unkindness in any form. I give no place to the devil and I will forgive immediately! Amen!

As you interact with others today, examine your heart to see if you’re walking in love–and ask yourself what you can do to practice the love of Christ in you.

Father God, more than anything else, I want to know You. I want to spend time with You, share my life with You and be in constant fellowship with You. As I commit my time to You, I pray that You reveal Your presence and love to me each and every day. You are Love and You have put Your love in my heart. Help me to practice love today in all I do, and all I say, so that others may see You in me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Because God’s words are life to us and health to all our flesh (Proverbs 4:22), the prayer below has been filled with the Word–and what God has to say about your health and healing. As you make this prayer your confession, saying it out loud over and over, it will help build an image of health in your heart. You will become more firmly established in the fact that you are a new creation in Christ Jesus, and you will activate faith in your heart (Romans 10:17).

Remember, God watched over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). He does what His Word says, and it does not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). So once your words–backed by faith–match God’s words, you will see healing manifest in your life!

Father, I come boldly before Your throne to obtain grace to help in time of need. I have confidence in Your Word, and I take hold of Your promises to heal me. According to Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24, I resist sickness and disease. I speak with my mouth and believe in my heart that I am healed of all sickness and disease.

Your Word says that Jesus bore all my sickness and diseases, and He carried my sorrows, so I receive healing now. I know and declare that Jesus is my Healer. I give You all the praise for providing everything I need to walk in wholeness.

Thank You for satisfying me with long life. Father, I am thankful that You are no respecter of persons. What You do for one, You will do for all who ask and believe by faith.

Satan, I declare to you in the Name of Jesus that you have no authority over me. According to Matthew 18:18, I bind you from operating against me in any way. My life is hidden in Christ. You have no power to bring any part of the curse upon me. I take my stand as one who is redeemed from the curse. So you must flee now! I take my place in God and I resist you.

Now Father, I worship You. I give You reverence. I confess with my mouth that Your Word will not return to You void. I praise You for Your protection and for Your goodness upon my life. I thank You that Satan is unable to penetrate that. Thank You for bringing total healing to me. Your Word says whatever I ask in the Name of Jesus will be done for me. So I declare this is done. My healing is complete. Amen.

Use the following prayer as your own confession of health and healing. As you do, remember Jeremiah 1:12 says that God watches over His Word to perform it.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I confess Your Word concerning health and healing. As I do, I believe that Your Word will not return to You void, but it will accomplish what it says.

In the Name of Jesus, I believe that I am healed according to 1 Peter 2:24. Your Word says that Jesus Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses (Matthew 8:17). Therefore, with great boldness and confidence, I stand on the authority of Your Word and declare that I am redeemed from the curse of sickness. I refuse to tolerate its symptoms.

Satan, I speak to you in Jesus’ Name and I proclaim that your principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places are bound from operating against me in any way. I am loosed from your assignment. I am the property of Almighty God and I give you no place in me. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High God and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty, whose power no foe can withstand.

Now, Father, I believe Your Word says that the angel of the Lord encamps round about me and delivers me from every evil work. No evil shall befall me, no plague of calamity shall come near my dwelling.

I confess that the Word abides in me and it is life and medicine to my flesh. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus operates in me, making me free from the law of sin and death.

I hold fast to my confession of Your Word and I stand immovable, knowing that health and healing are mine now, in Jesus’ Name.

It is a very simple thing to pray for healing. Just say:

Father, I am Your child. I am filled with Your Spirit. I believe that Jesus bore my sickness and carried my diseases, and I believe that by His stripes I was healed 2,000 years ago.

Right now, I accept that fact by faith. I believe that I am healed now, in the Name of Jesus.

As a child of God, you have the right to command Satan to get out of your life. He has no right to lay sickness of disease on your body, because Jesus bore all sickness and disease on His body. For Satan to put any of that on you would be a miscarriage of justice. You are God’s property and Satan is a trespasser. He has no right to touch your spirit, your soul or your body.

Pray according to God’s Word when you give, and receive the promised harvest on your seed sown.

Father, Your Word says that He who ministers seed to the sower both ministers bread for my food and multiplies my seed sown and increases the fruits of my righteousness. Therefore, I am enriched in everything to all boutifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God. I thank You for it, Lord.

I stand on Mark 4:23 which says, “if any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” So I make the decision right now to receive. I will receive. I will do all the things necessary. I will plant–I am planting now. I put the sickle to the harvest. My confession is on the Word. My confession is by faith.

In Jesus’ Name, I receive now by faith the hundredfold return on this seed that is in my hand. I do this in obedience to the Word.

And, satan, in the Name of Jesus, I rebuke you. You are the persecutor. Take your hands off my money! This is not your seed. It is not your land. It is mine and God’s. Stay out of my garden! Stay off my farm, for the harvest is mine!

Lord Jesus, I plant this seed into                      (ministry or church) and believe in its return because You said it. I dedicate it to Your service, to Your affairs, in Jesus’ Name. It will be as the loaves and fishes when You used the hundredfold principle to feed the people. Amen!

Always remember the enemy does not have any weapon or device greater than our faith. God has given you His Word, so you can have confidence that your prayers will be answered. Believe that the things you say and pray will come to pass.

Father, I come before You in the Name of Jesus, and I choose life today! I will walk in faith and not in fear. Because the Lord is on my side I will not fear what any man can do to me. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask You to open my eyes to any hidden areas of fear in my life.

Lord, Your Word says faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and I will build up my faith today by reading Your Word and acting on it. Thank You, Father, for the hedge of protection that You bring in response to my faith. Thank You that through the righteousness of Jesus I can confidently trust in Your peace and safety for my life and home knowing that Your angels are always on guard. I believe today! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
