Real Help Topic: Apply

As a believer, you want to share your faith but hesitate when the moment comes. It’s one thing to believe in Jesus on Sunday, but another to live that belief out on Monday through Saturday.

You don’t want to sound preachy or make anyone uncomfortable. However, you also don’t want to hide the most important part of who you are. The goal isn’t to be loud when you share your faith; it’s to be ready when the opportunity presents itself.

Scripture tells us that true boldness flows from confidence in God and genuine love for people. When your life is rooted in Him, sharing your faith should be natural.

Even so, you can expect to be challenged by family members, coworkers and friends.  But the goal is simply to share Jesus, and to share how your life has been impacted by Him.

Let’s make a plan to see what sharing your faith looks like in real life.

Your Actions Match Your Words

Before you ever begin sharing your faith with your words, know that people are watching how you live.

You share your faith every day simply by how you live. God’s Word says you are a “living epistle.” The question then becomes, does your life reflect the things you believe? Your integrity builds credibility. James wrote, “His faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete” (James 2:22).

Imagine a tense workplace where frustration is common. The person who stays steady, works with excellence and treats others with respect stands out. That quiet consistency speaks volumes.

Knowing how to be confident as a believer and share your faith in everyday life often begins with character. Colossians 3:23 reminds us to “work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord.” When your daily life reflects that attitude, you are already sharing your faith.

To model the faith in which you believe:

  • Choose integrity when no one is watching.
  • Respond with patience instead of irritation.
  • Let your work ethic reflect your trust in God.
  • Allow your words to reflect your Christian character.

Make God Part of Normal Conversation When You Share Your Faith

When the apostles were warned to stop speaking about Jesus, they replied, “We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20). For them, sharing their faith wasn’t forced; it was an outpouring of all He had done in them, around them and for them.

Not every conversation about Jesus should be a sermon. But any conversation can reflect your relationship with God.

If someone asks how you made a difficult decision, you can explain that you prayed about it. If something good happens, you can express your gratefulness to God. That isn’t pushy, it’s honesty about the Lord’s role in your life.

When you live your faith, talking about God is natural. As you practice this, awkwardness will lessen, and you may find people begin to ask for your perspective, insight or prayers!

Tips to share your faith casually:

  • Speak naturally about how God guides you.
  • Acknowledge Him in your gratitude.
  • Be ready to explain the hope you have (see 1 Peter 3:15).
  • Let confidence grow while remembering your faith is real life, not a separate category.

Offer Prayer With Compassion

One of the simplest ways to be bold when sharing your faith is to offer prayer. James 5:16 says to “pray for each other.”

When someone shares a struggle like a sick family member, financial stress or anxiety, you can listen with compassion and gently ask to pray with them. Most people welcome sincere prayer in difficult moments.

A short, heartfelt prayer can open the door to hope. Your willingness to pray demonstrates your confidence that God is present and He cares for them.

Follow up later. Ask how they’re doing. That continued compassion builds trust and reflects Christ’s love.

Ways to pray with compassion:

  • Listen closely to people’s needs.
  • Offer simple, faith-filled prayers.
  • Follow up and stay engaged.
  • Remember that prayer is not a performance; it is love in action.

Let Love Lead the Way

If there is one mark of someone who knows how to be confident and bold about sharing their faith, it is love. Jesus said, “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples” (John 13:35).

Love is more than a feeling. It is patient. It is kind. It is not rude or self-seeking (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). Love prompts action.

When you are committed to sharing the Love of God, He will open doors and present opportunities for you to share your faith, spoken and unspoken, wherever you go. Consistent love opens doors.

Here’s how to apply that confidence in love and share your faith:

  • Choose kindness over winning arguments.
  • Stand firm in truth with gentleness.
  • Reflect the Father’s heart in every interaction.
  • Allow love to give boldness the right tone.

Have a Confidence That Reflects Christ

Being bold when you share your faith anytime and anywhere isn’t about volume; it’s about availability.

  • Live with integrity when no one applauds.
  • Speak honestly about what guides you.
  • Offer prayer with compassion.
  • Stand firm with grace.
  • Love people the way Jesus does.

When your confidence is rooted in God’s Word and grounded in love, it will draw people to you.

You don’t have to strive to be bold. Stay close to Jesus. Walk in His Word. Let His Love shape your actions. As you do, your everyday life will point others to Him, and you’ll be ready to share your faith anytime, anywhere.

How To Live Victoriously In the End Times

How To Be Bold as a Lion

Praise the Lord with joy and gladness. Be lighthearted. Carry a confident expectation in your God. That may sound simple, but according to Scripture, praise is never small. It is powerful spiritual positioning.

Praise shifts your focus. It clothes you in joy. It strengthens you with the spiritual armor you need to win every battle. What many believers think of as celebration is, in reality, strategic. When you put on your “dancing shoes,” you are not merely expressing emotion–you are aligning yourself with covenant truth.

You do not have to wait for perfect circumstances to praise. You simply turn your attention toward the goodness of God. Think about the times He protected you, provided for you and carried you through what seemed impossible. Praise remembers what God has done and declares confidence in what He will do.

Praise magnifies the Lord instead of the problem. And when you magnify Him, everything else finds its proper place.

Sometimes praise looks serious and strong. Other times, it looks like pure joy.

You may remember the cartoon character Snoopy. Whenever he heard music, he would jump up and start dancing without hesitation. His paws barely touched the ground. He did not wait to see who was watching. He did not analyze the rhythm. He simply responded.

In a simple way, that picture captures something powerful. Praise is a response. When the music of God’s goodness begins to rise in your heart, you do not hold back. You respond with joy. You let praise lift you above what is trying to weigh you down.

When Praise Is Difficult

Anyone can praise when the victory is already visible. Faith, however, praises when the answer has not yet appeared.

There are seasons when praise does not feel natural. There are moments when circumstances are heavy, the report is not favorable and the harvest looks empty. The pressure may feel real. The need may be urgent. In those moments, praise becomes more than celebration–it becomes spiritual warfare.

The prophet Habakkuk described such a season:

“Though the fig tree may not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines;
though the labor of the olive may fail,
and the fields yield no food;
though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
and there be no herd in the stalls–
yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation” (Habakkuk 3:17-18, NKJV).

Habakkuk did not deny the lack. He did not pretend everything was fine. Instead, he made a decision: “Yet I will rejoice.”

That is weaponized praise, choosing covenant over condition.

When everything in the natural says there is no reason to rejoice, faith says, “God is still my salvation.” Praise in that moment is not emotional denial; it is spiritual dominion. It declares that God’s Word has the final authority.

The psalmist demonstrated the same principle when he spoke to his own soul:

“Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence” (Psalm 42:5, NASB 1995).

There are times when you must take authority over your thoughts and emotions. Your soul may feel discouraged, but your spirit knows the truth. You must remind yourself to hope in God. You choose to praise Him for the help of His presence. That decision shifts your focus from what is happening around you to Who is with you.

When praise feels hardest, it is often most powerful. It steadies your heart. It strengthens your faith. It reinforces your spiritual armor. It reminds the enemy that he does not determine the outcome of your life.

Put On the Garment of Praise

Isaiah prophesied of Jesus that He would give “the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” (Isaiah 61:3, NKJV). A garment is something you put on intentionally. You do not wait for a feeling to settle on you. You choose to clothe yourself.

If heaviness has tried to settle over your life, praise is your response. You turn your eyes to Jesus. You speak of His goodness. You declare His promises.

David understood this truth. He sang, “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness” (Psalm 30:11, NKJV). That transformation did not begin with a feeling–it began with faith.

Scripture tells us, “Therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually” (Hebrews 13:15, KJV). A sacrifice costs something. It may cost your pride. It may cost your natural reaction. It may cost your desire to complain. But when you offer praise through Jesus, you are aligning your heart with His victory.

When an unexpected bill arrives, when a report disappoints you or when life seems unfair, choose to praise. Not for the problem, but for the God who is greater than it. Refuse to magnify the pressure. Magnify the Lord.

That is how you put on the garment of praise.

Step Into Your Spiritual Armor

Praise and spiritual armor are not separate ideas. They work together.

Paul wrote, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11, NKJV). There is a real spiritual battle, but you are not defenseless. God has already provided everything you need.

You have the belt of truth, which holds everything together. You have the breastplate of righteousness, guarding your heart with the assurance that you are right with God through Jesus Christ. You have the shoes of the gospel of peace, enabling you to stand firm when turmoil surrounds you. You have the shield of faith, able to extinguish every fiery dart of the enemy. You have the helmet of salvation, protecting your mind with the knowledge that you belong to God. And you have the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17).

Prayer keeps you in constant communication with heaven (Ephesians 6:18).

Praise strengthens every piece of that armor. When you praise, you reinforce truth. When you praise, you lift your shield of faith. When you praise, you remember your righteousness. When you praise, you stand in peace instead of panic. When you praise, the Word in your mouth becomes a weapon against every lie.
God has promised, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17, NKJV). Praise enforces that promise. It declares victory before the evidence appears. It aligns your heart with heaven’s reality.

Watch Kenneth Copeland explain how to Suit Up In God’s Armor and Win.

Put On Your Dancing Shoes

Today, look in your spiritual mirror. Are you clothed in heaviness, or are you dressed in praise? Are you preparing for defeat, or are you standing in victory?

You can put on your dancing shoes in practical ways:

  • Thank God out loud for specific things He has already done.
  • Speak Ephesians 6:10-18 as a personal confession, declaring that you are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
  • Play a praise or worship song and respond physically by lifting your hands or moving your feet.
  • Make this declaration: “Praise the Lord! I have joy and victory through Jesus Christ.”

You are not dressing for survival. You are dressing for victory. The battle may be real, but so is your God. He is faithful. He is your refuge. He is your salvation.

So put on your dancing shoes. Clothe yourself in praise. Lift your voice and magnify the Lord. As you do, you will discover that praise does more than change your mood–it positions you to stand strong and win.

The victory is yours in Christ Jesus.

Spring break is more than time off from school; it’s a unique window of opportunity to share God’s love, especially with the next generation. Winter is almost over, routines pause, campuses quiet down, vacation spots fill and public spaces come alive. This shift in atmosphere creates natural moments for conversation and connection.

That’s what makes spring break such a powerful time for believers to share God’s love and the message of salvation.

No matter your stage of life, you can be used by God right where you are, sharing God’s love with others right where life is happening.

Why Spring Break Matters for the Next Generation

The next generation can experience spring break as an opportunity for unrestricted abandonment of limitations and moral restrictions. Whether middle school students, high school students, college students or young adults, spring break is often a time of increased freedom, fewer guardrails and constant connection with friends, both in person and online. As such, it often becomes a testing ground for fundamental beliefs and convictions.

As the next generation travels and gathers, makes spontaneous decisions and spends extended time with peers, temptations may be stronger and the pressure to conform may increase.

This openness also presents an opportunity for believers to step in with God’s love, truth and hope. Spring break places the next generation in visible, accessible spaces. And God places believers there, too.

This Is Your Moment To Step In With God’s Love

As believers, we don’t have to wait for perfect conditions to share Jesus. We simply need to be available to a generation looking for affirmation, encouragement and direction; needs that are fully met in Jesus Christ. Spring break offers natural opportunities to engage without pressure, programs or performances.

The next generation doesn’t need lectures. They need connection. They need to know:

  • They are loved
  • They matter
  • God has a purpose for their lives.

God’s love expressed through genuine care, listening and kindness speaks powerfully to a generation longing to be seen and known.

Practical Ways To Share Jesus During Spring Break

Here are practical ways believers can share God’s love during spring break:

In Everyday Conversations

  • Talk one-on-one with young people you meet–on vacation; or at restaurants, parks or coffee shops
  • Ask questions and listen for common ground
  • Share why God’s love has made a difference in your life.

In Public Spaces

  • Visit local parks, beaches or dog parks where people gather
  • Be friendly, approachable and kind–let Jesus demonstrate His love through you
  • Look for opportunities to pray or encourage when someone opens the door.

Through Organized Outreach

  • Host or support an outdoor Christian concert or community gathering
  • Partner with churches or ministries serving students during spring break
  • Create welcoming, joy-filled environments where young people feel safe.

With Intention and Prayer

  • Pray before you go out each day
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to guide conversations
  • Be ready to lead someone to Jesus when they ask.

Spring break is already a week of exploration. Why not let it be a week where someone discovers the love of God?

Understanding the Spiritual Climate of the Next Generation

Across the world, the next generation is responding to God. Many are searching for meaning beyond themselves. They are hungry for truth, authenticity and something real.

What some call spiritual awakening, renewal or revival is being fueled by God’s love and the prayers of His people. And the next generation is often at the center of it. Many young individuals are ready to commit to something greater than themselves.

Every person, young or old, needs to be saved by the shed blood of Jesus. They can find salvation, forgiveness and new life through His sacrifice. And this is the time for Christians to share that truth. Spring break simply creates a moment when many are ready to hear.

You Can Lead the Next Generation to Jesus

Sharing Jesus doesn’t require perfection–just obedience and love. In order to be effective when you share Jesus, be:

  1. Real – You don’t need to pretend to have it all together.
  2. Available – God uses willing hearts.
  3. A listener – People open up when they feel heard.
  4. Kind and respectful – Love opens doors.
  5. Prepared – Have scripture, resources or materials ready.
  6. Confident – The Holy Spirit is with you.
  7. Prayer-supported – Cover every step in prayer.
  8. Ready – Be prepared to lead someone into God’s family.

God does the work. We are simply obedient to the prompting.

Use These Major Talking Points of Salvation

God loves you.
“But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)” (Ephesians 2:4-5).

There is life after death. Where you spend it is your choice.
“I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying” (John 11:25).

Every person is a sinner.
“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard” (Romans 3:23).

God’s gift to you is forgiveness and eternal life with Him.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

Jesus exchanged places with you.
“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Ask Jesus to be your Savior.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).

Believe and receive God’s offer now.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).

No matter your age, you can be the one God uses to reach the next generation.

This spring break, ask the Lord where He wants to use you. Then step out in faith. God will guide you. The Holy Spirit will give you the words.

One conversation, one act of love, one invitation can change a life forever.

5 Tips for Sharing Your Faith

So you want to talk to God yet feel unsure about how to begin. Thoughts rise up like: Is God really there? Will He listen? Will He answer me? Does He really care? You may wonder if you are worthy of approaching Him at all if something you’ve done in your life has disqualified you for a relationship with Him. These questions are common, but God has already provided clear answers in His Word.

Here’s the good news: God wants a real, ongoing relationship with you, and He’s already opened the door. “Look! I stand at the door and knock…we will share a meal together as friends” (Revelation 3:20). Talking to God is not complicated. It is your first step into fellowship with the One who loves you. “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son” (John 3:16).

God Already Made the First Move

“How?” you might ask. How did God make the first move toward you? Before you ever tried to talk to God, He moved toward you in love. God initiated the relationship. He cleared every barrier. He reached out, offering fellowship and promising access for you to talk to Him. He promised in His Word saying, “Everything I have is available to you.”

The single barrier that once separated you from Him–sin–has already been removed through Jesus’ sacrifice. He took your place so you could freely come into God’s presence. “This is real love–not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins” (1 John 4:10).

Now that sin has been dealt with, God moves toward you with His arms open wide, waiting to talk with you. That’s why Hebrews 4:16 invites you, “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God.”

Let Go of the Formulas

Many people think they must talk to God through a certain person, in a certain way or only when they feel spiritual enough. But Jesus removed every barrier. You can speak with God directly, honestly and without fear. “The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth” (Psalm 145:18).

If you’re unsure what to say, know that you can talk to God about any and everything. Remember: Talking to God is simply conversation. Think of how a child talks to a loving parent. It doesn’t require perfect words. It’s not scripted, not formal, just real, open-hearted dialogue.

Here’s some good news. Your communication with Him isn’t powered by your perfection; it’s powered by faith in His love. Romans 8:38-39 reminds you that nothing can separate you from God’s Love, not your past, not your emotions and not your questions. When you talk to God, you are talking to Someone who loves you completely.

God Desires Ongoing Connection

God isn’t satisfied with a one-day-a-week relationship any more than your spouse and children would be. Every strong, meaningful relationship is built moment by moment, memory by memory over time. God invites daily fellowship. Kenneth and Gloria Copeland often teach that faith in God’s promises grows as you spend time in His Word and presence. “Draw near to God, and God will come close to you” (James 4:8, ESV).

This relationship builds confidence, and your confidence in what God says causes you to relax and depend on His ability and desire to perform His Word.

Problems come, but you can lean back on Him and hear His solution. Put all your worries on Him, because He loves you and cares enough about you to give you peace in the storms, comfort in sadness and hope in uncertainty. “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you” (1 Peter 5:7).

As you talk to God, this ongoing connection allows you to be more aware of His wisdom, His guidance and His presence. It’s OK to check in with God throughout the day: “Lord, what do You think about this?” or “Thank You for helping me right now.”

Practical Ways To Build Your Confidence:

  • When doubts arise, say out loud: “Because of Jesus, I can talk to God freely.”
  • Approach God confidently when you feel imperfect. He welcomes you because of Christ.
  • Begin your prayer by thanking God for making a way for you to come to Him.

So you want to talk to God. The wonderful truth is this: God wants to talk to you even more!

Because of Jesus, nothing separates you from Him. Talking to God isn’t complicated, restricted or reserved for perfect people. It’s the open invitation of a loving Father who has already made a way for you to come boldly and confidently. The moment you turn your attention toward Him, He hears you.

When you choose to talk honestly with God, you’ll discover a sweet way of life with the God who will never leave you. “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you” (Hebrews 13:5). God is listening. God is near. And God is ready to respond with mercy, wisdom and grace.

Are you ready to commit to Faith Habits for the New Year: Spirit, Soul and Body? The New Year is a great time to reset and refocus. Many people make goals for their health, schedule or routines. As a believer, you have a better way. You can build faith habits that help you grow in every area of life. However, instead of relying merely on yourself, bring the Holy Spirit on the scene to help you become strong in faith.

When you do the work to strengthen your spirit, soul and body, you position yourself for the victories God has already planned for you. It does not have to be complicated. Explore these simple steps to start the New Year with purpose and power.

Spirit: Exercise Your Faith Daily

When considering spirit, soul and body, it’s your spirit that is the core of your being. When you became a believer, your spirit came alive with the presence of the Holy Spirit. The way to exercise your spirit is to spend time with the Lord. Romans 10:17 tells us, “So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” When you read God’s Word with receptive eyes and ears, the Holy Spirit will teach you things you haven’t seen before. Do this exercise consistently to open your spirit, and you will find your faith becoming strong and unwavering.

Just like your physical muscles need exercise to perform at their full potential, your spirit learns to be attuned to the voice of God. As you do, your faith will grow. When you combine strong faith with your words that align with the Word of God, you will be positioned to walk in victory. Just like an athlete trains every day, make a daily faith exercise plan. Set aside time to pray, worship and read Scripture. Even just 10 focused minutes a day can strengthen your spirit. As you do this, your spiritual ear will be tuned to hear correction and direction from the Lord. Receive it with joy and a ready heart. This will cause your faith muscles to continue to grow.

Soul: Renew Your Mind, Will and Emotions

Your soul includes your thoughts, choices and feelings. God wants all three to agree with His Word. Paul wrote, “We have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16). And Philippians 2:13 says, “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” When you choose to think God’s thoughts, your words will change to agree with His words. This will strengthen your inner resolve to live a life of victory and create faith habits.

Third John 1:2 emphasizes the importance of strengthening your soul, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (NKJV). A helpful faith habit for the soul is speaking the Word over yourself. Say, “My mind is clear. I hear God’s voice. I walk in peace.” When unhealthy emotions rise, pause and picture how Jesus would respond. That simple shift can turn frustration into patience and worry into trust. This faith habit will change your soul to reflect His character.

Body: Build Healthy Routines

Your body is the house you live in on the earth. Caring for your body honors God. First Corinthians 6:19 reminds you that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and needs to be healthy.

Physical exercise is a way to develop the “you” you want to see in the mirror. A steady exercise plan, even something as simple as walking daily, will build strength and energy to succeed in what God has called you to do. Choose a simple, healthy eating pattern you can maintain. Drink more water. Plan meals that give you energy. A healthy body supports a healthy spirit and soul. When all three parts work together, you can live with greater focus and joy.

As the New Year begins, remember this: sustainable growth happens a little at a time. Small daily actions build strong faith habits that shape your spirit, renew your soul and strengthen your body. When you commit to living this way, you step into the year ready for God’s best. He is faithful, and He will lead you to victory in every part of your life.

Do you have more to do than time to do it? Is your patience wearing thin as you try to navigate through schedules, timelines and last-minute projects? Take the time needed to let the fruit of the spirit shine through you this Christmas season.

Paul reminds us that “the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. There is no law against these things!” (Galatians 5:22-23).

These are good qualities for everyone; and you, as a believer in Jesus Christ, are ahead because those fruits are already alive in you. Work with the Holy Spirit and determine to remain in His rest. Relax in the Lord and let the fruit of the spirit shine through you this Christmas, blessing your home and everyone around you.

Let Love Lead Your Interactions

Gloria Copeland teaches that each fruit is a “supernatural force” given to believers so they can overcome the pressures of life. Love is the foundation of every other fruit. At Christmastime, love may show itself as patience with long lines, kindness toward a rude stranger, or compassion for someone hurting during the holidays. We are told to “live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ” (Ephesians 5:2).

Comforting love can be like a warm fire on a cold day–everyone who gets near you can feel its warmth. When you choose words of love, a fruit of the spirit, and grace rather than expressing your frustration, you’re letting God’s love shine. Let the fruit of love shine through you this Christmas season.

Application:

  • Pray each morning: “Lord, my life is full of Your love, following the example of Christ. I open my heart to let Your love flow through me today.”
  • Look for one person each day you can bless–through a call, a gift or a prayer.

Let Joy Overflow, Regardless of Circumstances

Joy isn’t the result of perfect circumstances; joy is the result of God’s presence within you no matter the circumstance. “The joy of the LORD is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). Gloria Copeland says that joy is a supernatural expression of God’s character, empowering believers to rise above discouragement. And that fruit of the spirit is precisely what we need this Christmas season!

Joy is contagious, so share yours with others in your smile, your demeanor and your words of hope. Let the fruit of joy shine through you this Christmas season.

Application:

  • Begin your day by thanking God for three blessings. Gratitude will stir the joy within you.
  • Turn your thoughts to the joy of knowing who you are in Christ Jesus, and depend on His unshakable promises.
  • Choose praise over complaining. Listen to worship music while wrapping gifts or driving.

Let Peace Guard Your Heart and Home

The season can bring pressure, but peace, another fruit of the spirit, is an inherent part of your spiritual nature. “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7). The fruit of peace flows from the Holy Spirit and helps you stand steady when things around you feel chaotic.

Peace is like a thermostat–not a thermometer. Instead of reflecting the stress of your environment, you set the atmosphere all around you by keeping your heart anchored in God’s Word. Let the fruit of peace shine this Christmas season.

Application:

  • Schedule quiet moments with the Lord to breathe, even if just five minutes.
  • When stress rises, speak peace aloud: “Lord, I receive Your peace right now.”

Walk In Patience, Kindness and Self-Control

Gloria Copeland writes that every fruit of the spirit empowers believers to overcome temptation and pressure. “Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives” (Galatians 5:25). The Christmas season provides countless opportunities to practice patience, kindness and self-control–whether waiting in traffic or responding to family challenges. These fruit are yours to apply to every situation you may face.

Picture the fruit of the spirit like ornaments on a Christmas tree. As you yield to the Holy Spirit, these qualities decorate your life with the beauty of Jesus.

Application:

  • Pause before responding–give the Holy Spirit space to lead your attitude and conversation.
  • Let kindness become your “default setting” everywhere you go.

Conclusion: Shine the Light of Jesus This Christmas

Let the fruit of the spirit shine through you this Christmas season. When you choose love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, you reveal Jesus to your family, friends, co-workers and even strangers. With the fruit of the spirit operating in your life, you can live a strong, steady, overcoming life. In addition, you will see God use your life to bring His joy and peace to everyone around you.

Have you ever noticed how giving thanks produces a daily awareness of the presence of God in your life? When gratitude fills your heart, stress lifts, peace rises and joy takes hold.

Science confirms what the Word of God has declared for centuries–giving thanks brings healing to every part of you: spirit, soul, and body. When you choose to acknowledge God’s presence, you align your whole being with His goodness, and that produces life and health within you.

1. Giving Thanks Shifts Your Focus

When you give thanks, you take your eyes off what’s wrong and place them on what’s right–on the One who makes all things possible. The Apostle Paul wrote, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, NIV). Gratitude doesn’t deny problems; it denies them the power to control you.

Worry, fear and anxiety release harmful stress hormones that can damage your health. But when you begin to thank God, your body releases peace-producing hormones that strengthen your immune system and calm your mind. The moment you say, “Lord, I thank You that You are faithful,” your heart begins to align with His truth–and peace flows like medicine through your body.

Try this: Each morning before you look at your phone and check the news, thank God for three things. You’ll sense a shift not just in your thoughts, but in your physical energy and outlook for the day.

2. Giving Thanks Strengthens Your Heart and Mind

A thankful heart produces joy–and joy is strength. Scripture says, “The joy of the LORD is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). When you live with a grateful spirit, you protect your mind and emotions from the weariness of discouragement. Thankfulness renews your mind, helping you focus on God’s promises instead of life’s pressures.

During each day, think of what you are thankful for and voice your appreciation by saying, “thank You, Lord.” Thanksgiving comes from a heart of praise. When David faced challenges, he often began by giving thanks for God’s past faithfulness. That posture brought him peace and confidence to face his present battles. You can do the same. When symptoms or circumstances try to talk louder than God’s Word, thank Him that His power is already working in you and in your situation.

Giving thanks is more than polite manners–it’s a faith response that says, “I trust You, Lord.” That trust has a direct impact on your health because a heart weighed down by fear or anger will drain your strength, whereas a peaceful heart promotes a good life.

3. Giving Thanks Invites God’s Presence and Healing Power

Gratitude by faith is the doorway into God’s presence, as Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise”–and it’s in God’s presence that healing flows. When you thank Him, you’re inviting His power to move on your behalf whether you need physical healing, relief from hurtful words, or wisdom to carry out a difficult task.

Many believers have experienced physical healing while worshipping and giving thanks to God. Why? Because gratitude keeps your heart open to receive. As Gloria Copeland teaches, God’s Word is medicine to your flesh, but thanksgiving is what helps that medicine take full effect. A thankful spirit keeps you in faith and connected to God, the One who is the source of all life.

Whenever you begin to feel weary or unwell, lift your voice in thanks. Say, “Lord, I thank You that Your Word brings life to my body and peace to my mind.” The more you practice gratitude, the more you’ll experience His power strengthening you from the inside out.

Living In the Overflow

When you make giving thanks a lifestyle, not just a reaction, you’ll find your health, peace and joy begin to overflow. Gratitude isn’t just good manners–it’s God’s design for a healthy, victorious life. As you give thanks in all things, you’ll walk in the health and wellness Jesus already purchased for you.

So today, choose to live with a grateful heart. Give thanks not because everything is perfect, but because God is. And as you do, you’ll find that thankfulness changes your attitude and your health.

Drawing near to God is the heart’s desire of most Christians. In fact, God’s Word instructs us to draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith (Hebrews 10:22, ESV).

Yet, with work, raising kids, running errands and paying bills, even having a quiet time can feel like a challenge. So, how can you draw near to God on a daily basis? Here are three simple ways to draw near and develop the relationship with Him you’ve always wanted. Check them out!

1. Thank God Daily

When we thank someone in the natural, we think of it as a nice and polite thing to do. But that’s not all it is when it comes to God. It’s so much more than that–it’s POWER. Why? Because God says He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). What does that mean? It means that when you praise Him, His presence descends upon you, overtakes your circumstances, and anoints you with revelation and supernatural wisdom. Glory to God! It’s a power we need in our lives.

And this is something you can easily work into your daily routine. You can praise and thank God in the shower, in your car and while you’re combing your hair. You can thank Him when you wake up and when you go to bed. Praise is more than a prayer or a formality–it’s a lifestyle.

Here are a few ways that thanking God each day will change your life and help you draw near to Him:

  • It brings God on the scene.
  • It puts your challenges into perspective.
  • It focuses your mind on the Word instead of the world.
  • It strengthens your faith.

Praise and thanksgiving are weapons against the enemy. That’s why the devil tries to keep you feeling down, complaining, and full of self-pity. All those things weaken your joy and your faith–which is your strength. Want to shut the enemy down? Draw near to God and start praising and thanking Him.

2. Read God’s Word

You’ve probably heard this scripture before: “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path” (Psalm 119:105). But hearing something again and again is what opens your heart to additional understanding and draws you nearer to God. You are going to hear powerful men and women of God repeat Scripture again and again –because it’s importance cannot be overstated.

God’s Word works.

Do you need healing in your body? The answer is the Word. Do you need a miracle in your finances? The answer is the Word. Do you need a relationship restored? The answer is the Word. And…Iit’s how you draw near to God. He is the Word and the Word is God. If you want to know Him–really know Him–you will find out everything you want to know in His Word.

You cannot draw near to God without spending time in His Word. It’s a living document–and it was written personally for you. In fact, you will see revelation pop out of the pages that seem to be directed at you and exactly what you’re going through in the moment! That’s how you begin to feel close to God–drawing near to Him through the power of His Word.

3. Obey Him and Draw Near to God

Obedience is no small thing. In fact, God is straight to the point in this verse: If you love Him, you’ll obey Him (John 14:15). When you desire to draw near to God, you will begin to have a deep desire to obey Him in all things–not just those you find convenient. You’ll dig into the Word and when you see an area where you’re missing it, you’ll want it fix it fast.

When you begin to walk in total obedience to God and His Word, you will begin to see circumstances change in your life. Things you’ve been desiring for, hoping for and praying for will come to pass.

Don’t turn your blinders on–be sure you have eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart that receives correction and moves quickly into obedience. It may not be something big in your eyes, but the smallest areas of disobedience can often be the ones that hold you back the most.

So draw near to God by obeying Him daily. Listen for His still, small voice and obey the instructions He gives in His Word, and in your inner witness. You’ll move to higher levels of faith in God!

When you make a daily habit of thanking God, reading His Word and obeying Him, you will be well on your way to drawing nearer to God and achieving new levels of victory in your life. He is calling you today to draw near. Will you answer?

Do you know how to distinguish a Christmas wish from standing in faith? It seems every Christmas movie or gift advertisement includes a Christmas wish. Wishes are cute, but as a believer, you should stand in faith in God to have your needs and wants met.

Christmas isn’t about wishes; it’s about promises fulfilled. This is illustrated by the ultimate promise delivered: Jesus, our Savior and Messiah, being born into this world.

A wish is generally based on desire. The popular ones this time of year are: “I wish I had a new car,” “I wish I weighed less,” or “I wish I had a new job.” Popular culture has glorified the idea of the Christmas wish into some vain imagining that you might hope may possibly come true. We’ve all had those thoughts and wishes.

But, when you take a stand in faith that God’s Word is true, you can know it will not fail and know He will honor your faith!

Don’t Wish, But Know

Standing in faith brings God on the scene. For example, you want a new job that fits your schedule, offers better benefits, and provides a higher salary. You can wish all you want, but there’s no guarantee that your wish will be granted.

If you’re standing in faith using a specific promise from God’s Word, that’s where the power of God and His Word is engaged to work on your behalf. This turns our wishing into praying, and our Christmas wish into a stand in faith.

Instead of saying, “I wish I had a better job,” say this: “According to God’s Word in Philippians 4:19, ‘[God] will supply all my needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to me in Christ Jesus,’ so I know I have my new job; one that fits my schedule, has better benefits and pays more, in Jesus’ Name!”

When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, God’s promise of eternal life was wrapped in human form. Jesus came, not to fulfill a Christmas wish. The Lord came to give you something to believe in. Kenneth Copeland has said, “Faith is not wishing or hoping that God will do something. Faith believes it’s already done because God said so.”

This Christmas, instead of saying, “I wish I had this or that,” begin saying, “I believe God’s Word is true. He will answer my prayer and take care of my needs based on His promise!”

Faith Speaks What God Has Promised

The act of a Christmas wish is powerless and can lull you into a deceitful notion that God is in the business of granting wishes. Wishing is a mental and emotional activity that doesn’t produce anything meaningful.

Instead of wishing, take to heart what Paul wrote, “For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding ‘Yes!’ And through Christ, our ‘Amen’ (which means ‘Yes’) ascends to God for His glory” (2 Corinthians 1:20).

That same spirit of faith Paul had is alive in you today. When you say what God has said in His Word as if it pertains to you and it’s already done, that’s not a wish; that’s faith! So, if you wish something would change, that wish has no power to change anything. But if you take what God said about the change, believe that He has the power to do it and add your words of agreement, it’s done!

Faith Believes Before It Sees

The wise men didn’t just send up a Christmas wish at the star of Bethlehem. They followed the star long before they saw the Savior. That’s what standing in faith looks like: believing before the evidence shows up. “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see” (Hebrews 11:1).

When you stand in faith, you walk in the same confidence the shepherds and wise men had: The promise is real, even when it’s still unseen.

Faith Acts Like It’s Already Done

The shepherds didn’t sit in the fields wishing. They said, “Let’s go to Bethlehem!” (Luke 2:15). Faith includes action. It worships before the breakthrough, gives before the manifestation and rejoices before it sees.

Your faith shouldn’t wait for natural proof. You can live like it’s already done because God’s Word is proof enough.

Faith Stands Firm in Every Season

Christmas is a reminder that God’s promises never fail. Even when the world around you feels uncertain, His Word remains sure. “God is able to do whatever He promises” (Romans 4:21).

God’s character is all the proof you need to stand in faith for everything He promised you in His Word. God fulfilled His promise to send His Son to be your replacement as a sacrifice for sin, so you can be sure He will keep all His promises to you.

And as Matthew 7:11 shares, “So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.”

Now, stop merely making a Christmas wish and begin standing in faith for all that your Father has promised you!

Pray this prayer of faith with us:

“Heavenly Father, this Christmas, I am standing in faith on Your Word. I believe Your Word is true. I thank You for Jesus, the fulfillment of Your promise. I stand firm on faith, rejoicing that every good thing You’ve promised is mine in Christ Jesus. Thank You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

Make this Declaration of Faith:

“This Christmas, I refuse to wish–I choose to believe. I’m standing in faith, knowing that God’s Word is already fulfilled in my life. Jesus is my proof, my promise and my victory.”

Do you need a miracle? Maybe you’re at the end of yourself in your finances with no way out. Or, perhaps, you’ve tried every doctor, medicine, supplement and diet you can get your hands on, and you’re still sick and needing healing in your body. What about your family? Is that where you need a miracle–with your marriage or your kids?

A miracle is something that is impossible by man’s hand. It is the manifestation of God’s power that makes a miracle possible. Whatever your need today–God is in the miracle business, and He has a miracle in mind for YOU. He loves you. He doesn’t want you sick, broke or without something you desire in your life. He’s always ready to do a miracle. Always.

So, why don’t miracles just happen?

Faith is what opens the flow of signs, miracles and wonders. Real faith has an expectancy. So, as faith rises, the flow of the Holy Spirit gets stronger, and miracles will flow more and more. But when people stop expecting, the flow of miracles dry up. That’s why we don’t see as many miracles in the Church–people aren’t expecting to see them.

But we were created for the realm of the miraculous. When people say, “That’s going to take a miracle”–that’s our realm. That’s God’s natural operation.

It isn’t that God sometimes decides to do miracles and sometimes He doesn’t. No. He is always ready to do a miracle. Sometimes people are perceptive, and sometimes they’re not. Sometimes the faith is flowing, and sometimes it’s not.

If you need a miracle in your life, it’s waiting for you. You don’t have to turn the Holy Spirit off and on–He’s always in you, and He’s always on! There is a constant, unlimited, unceasing flow from the throne of God. Keith Moore shares a good reminder of how to receive a miracle.

1. You must hear from God.

This is the most important step, and one that many people try to skip. Then, they wonder why they don’t see a manifestation in their lives. This cannot be overstated: You cannot rush past this step–you must hear from God.

That’s why you can tarry and tarry and not receive your miracle. When you seek Him about your situation, and if you’re really in faith, you’ll hear from Him. He is faithful.

You can hear from Him through the Word of God or by the Spirit of God speaking to your spirit. But you have to listen and believe. When you need healing, you can know that it is God’s will for you because it is in the Word of God. Jesus paid a lot for you to be healed. Think about it. He didn’t have to go to the whipping post to go to the Cross. But He did so that “by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5, NKJV).

Keith Moore said this, “Every time the scourge hit Him, something spiritual happened because every disease and malady was laid on Him. He was hit with the cause and source of that disease. He took it all. That’s why you don’t even have to get the right diagnosis before you can be healed because you already know He personally took the source of every disease.”

So, healing is in the Word of God, and you can know that it is His will to perform a healing miracle in your body, but you still need to hear personally from Him about your specific situation.

Whether it is revelation from the Word of God or a direct speaking to your spirit, wait until you hear from Him. This is the critical first step to receiving your miracle.

There is no substitute to hearing from Him personally.

2. Do whatever God told you to do when you heard from Him.

When you hear from the Lord, He will give you an instruction–something He wants you to do to receive your miracle. That is always how God has worked.

Think about the timing of when miracles manifested in the Bible. Jesus gave instructions and when they were acted upon, the miracle occurred. When Jesus healed the man with leprosy, He said, “Stretch out your hand” (Matthew 12:13, NKJV). When did the miracle happen exactly? When the man stretched out his hand. “Go, wash in the pool” (John 9:7). “Fill the jars with water” (John 2:7). “Pick up your mat, and walk” (John 5:8). Instruction always preceded a miracle.

In his teaching, Keith Moore explains why instruction always preceded a miracle. He said, “God in His graciousness has allowed us to be a partner in the working of miracles.”

But you have to be listening, seeking and expecting to hear from Him. Then, act on what He says. You won’t see a miracle if you’re lying on the couch and making confessions if He told you to get up! If He says straighten your leg, do it. If He tells you to run across the room, do it. If He tells you to sow a seed, do it. Whatever He told you to do when you heard from Him, the next step is to act on it.

Now, don’t try to work something up in your mind to do. If you haven’t heard from Him yet, wait! You will. Then, when you hear from Him, do it!

3. He does it.

You don’t even have to do anything in this step except receive! When you do your part–the first two steps–God does His part–the manifestation.

Every miracle comes by the same process, whether it be healing, finances or relationships. God still manifests the working of miracles today. He never changes. Men get cold, stop believing and lose access to the miracles. But as soon as people start believing, miracles come again.

The key with every step is expecting. Are you expecting miracles? Build your faith in the Word of God, start expecting, then follow these three steps to a miracle and prepare to see your healing manifest!

Is it possible to stay thankful in all circumstances? God’s Word says, “In everything give thanks. This is what God wants you to do because of Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Is God saying you are to be thankful for everything–the good and the bad? That doesn’t sound right.

No, it’s not right. We are to be thankful for everything good. But in the bad, your thankfulness is based on God’s promise to deliver you from tough times.

God wants your life to be good and fulfilling. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” (Romans 8:28)

You have two ways to look at your current circumstances. Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble” (John 16:33), so we know that suffering and hardships are part of living on the earth, and you can focus on them. But God did not leave us without a path to victory.

The other way to look at circumstances is to be thankful and see things through the powerful love of God who promises to rescue you and keep you safe.

How can you stay thankful when everything seems to be going the wrong way? You can do what David did. His wives, children and all his stuff plus everything belonging to his men had been captured by the enemy. Things were looking bad! David’s men were so grief-stricken they were planning to kill David.

The Bible says that rather than falling into depression or fear, David encouraged himself in the Lord (1 Samuel 30:6). David knew Almighty God was his Source. In the middle of that tough time, maybe David remembered with thanksgiving all the times he was a shepherd and God helped him defeat the lion and the bear. And he could have thanked God for delivering him and the whole nation from Goliath and the Philistines. David lived in the protection of the Lord.

David knew the secret. He went to God expecting an answer that would help him and his men.

How can you do this? Here is a plan, based on biblical principles, to help you stay thankful in all circumstances.

1. Feed on Being Thankful To God

You are what you eat. That rings true for both the physical and the spirit man. If you eat junk food, it will show in the way you look, feel and sleep. The same is true of spiritual food. If you feed your spirit man negative news, opinions on social media, and secular books and movies more than you do good spiritual food, it will begin to show in your outlook on life and your overall success in your finances, relationships and health. That’s why the Bible tells us to guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23-27).

If you want to remain thankful, the Word of God is your lifeline. More Word equals more faith, more victory and a much more positive outlook! If you reduce your intake of negative information and opinions, and up your intake of the Word of God through reading His Word, listening to faith teachings, and listening to worship, you’ll encourage yourself in the Lord and find thanksgiving welling up inside you.

2. Speak Words of Thanksgiving

The words you speak have power. Whether you know it or not, there is no such thing as meaningless words. When you say something–you’re training yourself to believe it! And you set spiritual law–good or bad–in motion. That’s why the Bible tells you that your words are containers that will release either death or life into your life (Proverbs 18:21).

You may have gotten into the habit of complaining about your situation. Try this: Set a goal to listen to your words for the next 30 days. Watch what you speak about your nation, your family, your health, your job and your finances. Speak words of thanksgiving over all those things! And watch your outlook and situation turn around.

3. Keep a Gratitude Journal

Instead of focusing on negative things, cultivate a heart full of gratitude! That’s why the Bible instructs us to intentionally think only on good things (Philippians 4:8-9).

A gratitude journal is a great place to start. Take the time to write down three things each morning that you are grateful for. It can be anything–even something as simple as your cup of coffee. Then, spend time thanking God for each of them. You’ll be amazed at how much it will lift your spirit over time. In fact, Dr. Don Colbert prescribes keeping a gratitude journal to many of his patients for physical and emotional healing.

It may be a change to be thankful during tough times, but when you do, you’ll begin to see not only your outlook change, but your circumstances, too! People who are thankful simply enjoy life more and live a better life. You can have that, too. And it’s the kind of life God wants for you.

Tithing is more than dropping 10% of your income into an offering bucket–it’s a Covenant connection with God. When you apply the covenant of tithing, you are putting Him first in your finances and inviting His BLESSING and protection into your life. But to walk in the benefits of this covenant, you must apply it intentionally.

Here are three practical ways to apply the covenant of tithing in your life.

1. Tithe in Faith, Not Out of Obligation

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” – Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

Tithing is not about religious duty–it’s about faith. When you apply the covenant of tithing, you are declaring, “God, You are my Source.” Don’t tithe out of fear, guilt or tradition. Instead, tithe in faith, expecting God to do exactly what He promised in Malachi 3:10-11: open the windows of heaven and rebuke the devourer on your behalf.

Application: Each time you bring your tithe, pause to thank God that He is your Provider. Release your tithe in faith, not as a bill you’re paying, but as a seed you’re sowing into His covenant economy.

2. Speak the Word Over Your Tithe

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” – Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)

Your words have power, and they work hand in hand with your tithe. Speaking God’s promises seals the covenant over your giving and keeps you anchored in faith when circumstances try to shake you.

Application: After you tithe, apply the covenant of tithing by declaring scriptures like Malachi 3:10-12 and Proverbs 3:9-10. Confess out loud: “The windows of heaven are open over me, the devourer is rebuked, and I walk in the overflow.”

3. Expect THE BLESSING To Show Up in Your Life

“The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” – Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV)

Tithing is not a one-time transaction; it is a lifestyle of Covenant partnership with God. That means you can expect to see His BLESSING in your life…not just in finances, but in protection, favor, opportunities and peace.

Application: Keep your eyes open for God’s hand at work in your life. Every time He provides, protects or promotes you, acknowledge Him with thanksgiving. The more you recognize His BLESSING, the more it will multiply.

When you tithe, you are not giving something away–you are activating the Covenant of God’s provision. Apply the covenant of tithing by giving in faith, speaking the Word and expecting THE BLESSING to be evident in your life.

As you do, you’ll discover what Kenneth Copeland teaches in The Joy and Power of the Tithing Covenant: God is the best financial Partner you could ever have.

You’ve heard the expression, “Work smarter, not harder.” That can be true to a certain extent, but your work alone will not increase and advance you for God’s blessings. His ways are higher than your ways and His thoughts are higher than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). He looks at every situation from a completely different vantage point than you do.

When you align yourself with God’s ways, you position yourself for growth and advancement in your life and in God’s kingdom.

Let’s look at 4 Ways God’s Blessings Will Increase and Advance Your Situation.

God’s Blessings Will Make You Prosperous

“The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.” -Proverbs 10:22

Abram left home and moved to the land of Canaan, which became the land God gave him and his descendants: the Promised Land. There, God blessed Abram and changed his name to Abraham. That’s when God made a covenant with Abraham to give his descendants a large portion of land, if they didn’t turn away from Him.

Abraham was blessed with cattle, silver and gold, all because he believed and obeyed God. He had God’s blessings.

When you received Jesus as your Savior and Lord, you received those same blessings. Just like with every promise of God, you must believe that, speak it and activate it by faith.

Abraham activated his faith by saying his new covenant name, which means “father of many nations.” Every time he spoke his name, he was confirming his faith in God’s Word to give him and Sarah a son. That’s how Abraham fulfilled God’s promise that he would be the father of many nations.

In the same way, you must speak the desired result of God’s blessings in your life. Speak them even before you see them. Like Abraham, say what you don’t yet see; that’s faith (Romans 4:17).

God’s Blessings Will Promote You

“The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant.” -Deuteronomy 6:11

God doesn’t want you to toil, struggle or rely on men to be promoted in any area of your life. His blessings will increase and advance you even when you aren’t qualified in the natural.

You can’t make it happen, so allow God’s blessings to do the work. Allow God to promote you, and you’ll see advancements you never dreamed possible.

As Kenneth Copeland says, “THE BLESSING will make a somebody out of a nobody.”

Do you remember the story of Joseph? He was sold into slavery and eventually was put into prison. There was nothing Joseph could do to promote himself. But God’s blessings were with him, and He delivered him from prison and promoted him to the second-in-command of the nation of Egypt.

What did Joseph do to be promoted that you can do? He trusted God. He didn’t stop being a man of integrity; he didn’t get angry with his brothers or the people who put him in prison, and he didn’t dwell on past regrets. Joseph believed in God and was blessed to be promoted to a position of high authority. You can be encouraged, too!

God’s Blessings Will Defend You

“But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from Me. I, the LORD, have spoken!” -Isaiah 54:17

When you’ve been wronged, you don’t have to fight your own fight. God says that He will fight for you so you can hold your peace and remain at rest (Exodus 14:14). God’s blessings will defend you.

If you humble yourself, God’s blessings will even prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5). Clothe yourself with humility.

In fact, in the midst of a battle, Moses reminded the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm” (Exodus 14:13-14).

You can trust that the Lord will justify you and make sure that no weapon formed against you will succeed!

God’s Blessings Will Preach the Gospel

“And then he told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.'” -Mark 16:15

It’s enjoyable to discuss the ways God’s blessings can enrich you, promote you and protect you; but above all, God’s blessings preach the gospel to a lost world. When you’re living in God’s blessings, you have the time, energy, money and anointing to minister to others; and you’re an example of what it looks like to be a child of the Most High God.

When you’re walking and living in God’s blessings, you shine as a light in a dark world. People will naturally be drawn to you; they’ll want what you have! Everyone wants to live a blessed life, and you’ll help them get there. The blessings are the gospel of Jesus Christ! Take them and be the witness He’s called you to be.

It’s time to put God’s blessings to work in every area of your life! Any place where you’ve been held back, there’s only one thing missing–God’s blessings–no more toiling, no more struggling and no more guesswork. Enjoy God’s blessings and watch Him increase and advance your situation.

God made a covenant with Jesus that cannot be broken! You have a part of that covenant by believing in Jesus and inviting Him into your heart and life. God can–and will–do anything it takes to keep you safe

He is only limited by your ability to receive from Him. Take time to explore some of the conditions that make receiving from God easy and walk in your covenant of protection today.

Make God alone your place of safety (Psalm 91:2)

Your safety in God doesn’t come by simply reading a scripture once. It comes by knowing God so well that His Word immediately comes to your mind in a crisis. When you have spent time reading, thinking and meditating on what God said, you will act on it. It’s not the Word you heard or know; it’s the Word you act on that will get you delivered.

Trust in the Lord and do good (Psalm 37:3)

When you trust in the Lord and do good, “then you will live safely in the land and prosper” (Psalm 37:3). It can be easy to put your trust in other things, such as a job or other people, but your trust should be in the Lord alone. He is the One who created you and wants to guide and lead you to a place of safety and prosperity

Speak what you believe (Mark 11:22-24)

To test what you believe, listen to what you say during adversity. When the dog knocks over the kitchen trash, when someone pulls into the parking space you were headed for, or when you hit your thumb with the hammer, what do you say? Those are small things, but as you listen to yourself, you can replace your own words with those of God’s Word.

Love one another (Romans 13:8)

When you love one another, you are fulfilling the requirements of God’s law. There is no way you could go back and fulfill all the requirements of the law, but when God sent Jesus He became the fulfillment of the law. By believing in Jesus, you are made right with God. Jesus then commanded you to love one another (John 13:35, Matthew 22:39, Mark 12:31). By loving one another you not only prove you are His disciple, but you also keep yourself safe in God’s covenant of protection.

God’s protection is vital for peace in today’s world. Whether it’s a worldwide disaster, chaos in the workplace or a family issue, you need God’s help. Believe and call on God’s covenant of protection every day!

As you live for the Lord, how do you rate your ability in recognizing God’s voice?

Jesus talks about knowing and recognizing His voice in John 10:1-16. “After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice. They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice” (verses 4-5).

If you are born again, you should know and recognize the voice of your Good Shepherd, Jesus, and the voice of a stranger you should not follow.

That was the one word God spoke to a man who had just witnessed terrorists attack the World Trade Center in New York City using two airplanes on September 11, 2001.

As a believer and member of a church located within sight of the Twin Towers, his first instinct was to run inside and help people get out of the building — but God gave him different instructions.

God led him to run to the subway tunnel across the street. Just as he descended the 40-foot staircase to get to the subway level underground, he heard the explosion that accompanied the collapse of the first tower. The intense heat made its way below into the tunnel. He later learned that the fire from the blast had incinerated everyone standing in the place he’d been when God told him to run.

He again felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit–this time, to leave the subway tunnel and move away from the area altogether. As he ran, ashes filled the air and everything turned black with soot.

Throughout his supernatural escape, he said he felt like he was in a protected place. His crisp, white dress shirt didn’t have a mark on it–not even from the sky filled with ashes.

Looking back on September 11, 2001, it seems like a terrible dream filled with fear. But for those who were impacted, whether by being in one of the buildings or having loved ones there, it was more than a dream. It was a horrendous experience no one ever wanted to have.

God’s Voice Can Lead Us from Tragedy to Safety

Americans didn’t expect a terrorist attack on their soil, especially not one committed by men who were determined to destroy America. The devastation was unthinkable, the horror unbelievable, and the damage was far-reaching.

Even in the middle of unspeakable destruction, some people were safe.

This man, who ran from the Twin Towers, obeyed God’s voice. He had learned in church how to hear the voice of the Lord, and that’s what he believes saved him that day.

God’s Word contains instructions on how to live a protected life. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 promises you’ll be blessed everywhere you go and in everything you do if you hear and obey His voice.

Follow the instructions in the Word. Instructions about your job, family, and even possible dangerous situations will come to you as you meditate on God’s Word and allow it to take root in your heart. You will have ears to hear and eyes to see God’s will.

Just like the man who escaped death at the Twin Towers, you can escape trouble by running to God for help! You can overcome fear in your life by hearing and obeying.

When you’re wanting to start a new life, the last thing you want to do is relive painful memories and feel stuck in the past. You want to put the past behind you–once and for all–and move forward with confidence. The past can hold treasured memories, but for many, thinking about the past isn’t always positive or helpful.

Rehearsing past hurts and reliving painful memories is harmful. Some people wear their yesterdays like a garment–allowing them to define who they are today. Towing around old shame, guilt and hurt only hinders the blessings of God and gives the devil a place in your life where he doesn’t belong.

Right now, determine to kick guilt and shame to the curb, and bring your thoughts under control according to 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. Instead of allowing your mind and Satan to dictate your thoughts, you can tell your mind what to think (Philippians 4:8). James 4:7 says to submit to God and resist the devil, and he (Satan) will flee from you!

It’s time to take back the peace the devil has stolen and embrace your future. Here are three steps you can take to leave the past behind and walk into a place of blessing.

Leave the Past Behind By Receiving Emotional Healing

“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.” (Isaiah 53:4, NKJV)

Spiritual bumps and bruises. Inner aches and pains that just don’t seem to go away. Most all of us know what it’s like to suffer from them, but too few of us know just what to do about them.

We limp along, hoping somehow those hidden wounds will stop hurting, thinking that maybe (with a little extra sleep or an extra helping of dessert) that nagging sense of depression will finally disappear. But inner healing is often a process rather than an event. As you daily spend time with God and in His Word, you will find that He brings healing to those inner hurts and memories of the past.

No matter how complicated or painful, nothing less than complete healing is promised to you in Jesus. The best place to start is with a promise. According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Every thought, memory and emotion can come to a place of peace and healing in the Name of Jesus. As Isaiah 53:4 says, He bore our griefs and sorrows on the Cross, so we don’t have to bear them anymore. They are all under the blood, and we are redeemed. Hallelujah!

Leave the Past Behind By Forgiving and Receiving Forgiveness

“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” (Colossians 3:12-13)

There’s nothing like unforgiveness in your heart to keep you chained to the past. Unforgiveness has been linked to depression, illness and disease. It’s toxic! So, get with the Lord and determine, with His help, to forgive every wrong ever committed against you. Then, take a deep breath, and enjoy your newfound freedom!

But, wait…what about receiving forgiveness?

Part of leaving the past behind is learning to release guilt and shame from your life. When you confess your sins, repent and receive forgiveness. You are forgiven–end of story. God doesn’t hold sin against you. He has already forgotten it, so you must forget it, too.

Of course, Satan will try to bring up and replay your mistakes and sins over and over in your mind like a movie. But remember, he is the enemy, and he can be resisted. We can forgive ourselves and forget those things that are behind, and press on toward God (Philippians 3:13-14).

God is Love, and He loves you –regardless of your past. So, receive His forgiveness and acceptance, forgive yourself, and then let go of those things that are behind.

Leave the Past Behind By Focusing Forward

“But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14)

Once you’ve stopped living in the rearview mirror, where should you put your focus? Forward! That’s where the prize is and that’s where true peace and victory are found.

Unbelief looks at the past and says, “See, it can’t be done.” But faith looks at the future and says, “It can be done, and according to the promises of God, it is done!” Faith steps out, knowing that the victory has already been won. If you’ll take God at His Word, you can wake up every morning to a brand-new world. You can live life totally unhindered by the past.

So, do it! Replace thoughts of yesterday’s mistakes with scriptural promises about your future. As you do that, hope will start taking the place of depression. The spiritual aches and pains that have crippled you for so long will quickly disappear.

A life free from the bondage of the past is within your grasp, so begin implementing these three steps and look to a blessed and bright future. Put the past behind you and start your new life today!

Children are told the story of Peter Pan, a boy who never grew up and led an exciting life of fighting pirates with Captain Hook! God’s will is for His children to grow up, get full of spiritual development, and be ready to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Having faith like a child is one thing (Matthew 18:3), but most Christians who stay like Peter Pan and don’t grow up in the Lord aren’t able to maximize their effectiveness in the Gospel message.

Ephesians 4:11-13 says, “Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.”

Your spiritual development, or to use a term that Peter Pan would recognize: “spiritual growth,” is important to God and essential for the believer. He has planned for you to grow, develop, and mature with the help of God-called leaders who will guide you on this journey.

Let’s take a look at some of them.

The Gift of Prophet

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines prophet as “one who utters divinely inspired revelations.”

Also known as seers, prophets serve as the eyes of the Body of Christ. They perceive profound spiritual revelation and see far out in the distance, with a view best likened to that of an eagle.

As beholders of visions, prophets can see the future through a tunnel of time. What seems impossible or unlikely to those around them is easy for prophets to envision.

Since this is one of the gifts Christ gave to the church, you can receive it. Learn how to obtain from the ministry of the prophet.

The Gift of Evangelist

Evangelist is defined as “a person who seeks to convert others to the Christian faith, especially by public preaching” by Oxford Dictionary.

The purpose of the gift of evangelist, like every other gift, is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the Church, the Body of Christ.

How does an evangelist do that? Riley Stephenson, Evangelist at KCM, teaches and trains others how to win the lost and minister salvation. He explains how each believer can be a laborer in their field.

The Gift of Pastor

Dictionary.com defines pastor as “a minister in charge of a church; a person having spiritual care of a number of persons.” A pastor is the shepherd over his flock of sheep, or congregation. He looks out for their spiritual needs and welfare.

Jesus is referred to as the Good Shepherd. 1 Peter 2:25 says, “Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.” He chooses people to serve as pastors.

Being part of a local church puts you under the care of a pastor. Pray to find the right church and discover all the churches that partner with KCM worldwide. There may be one near your home!

The Gift of Teacher

A teacher is simply “one who teaches.” Many ministries in the Body of Christ teach the Word of God. Victory Channel hosts various programs that teach the Word of God 24/7.

Jesus has appointed God-called men and women to be leaders in the Church or Body of Christ, and in the individual churches, so you can grow up and spiritually develop to be “mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-16).

The Purpose of Ministry Gifts

The ministry gifts of prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher equip you by preaching and teaching the Word of God.

Just as a baby has a desire for milk, believers should take in the milk of God’s Word for spiritual growth (1 Peter 2:2). Believers are to grow up into the image of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18), but this process doesn’t happen overnight.

Partaking of the Word of God, preached and taught through these ministry gifts, will help you grow and develop spiritually.

Maybe you are sensing God leading you in one of the five-fold ministry gifts [apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher] and don’t know where to begin. Kenneth Copeland Bible College is the perfect place to be trained for ministry and follow God’s plan for your life. You can be activated for maximum impact in this world!

The Church needs these ministry gifts to support spiritual development in each member of the Body of Christ. Your part is to receive these leaders as gifts from God and embrace their instruction to bring you into a victorious life that is pleasing to God.

Instead of pretending you never have to grow up and only have to float from cloud to cloud like Peter Pan, get your head out of the clouds. It’s time to grow up as Christ needs us to do. That’s the only way we will do the work God planned for us!

What is the connection between Abraham in the Bible and the freedom we enjoy in our country?

God said to Abraham, “Nor shall your name any longer be Abram [high, exalted father]; but your name shall be Abraham [father of a multitude], for I have made you the father of many nations. And I will make you exceedingly fruitful and I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you” (Genesis 17:5-6, AMPC).

One of the benefits of the covenant would be that nations would come from him, physically and spiritually. The United States of America is part of the covenant God made with Abraham! We are “one nation, under God.”

Enjoying freedom in our country doesn’t happen automatically. You must choose to preserve freedom for yourself, your family and our country.

Preserve Freedom for Yourself

How can you preserve freedom for yourself? In this country, you enjoy a vast number of freedoms. In general, no one tells you what to eat; what to wear; where to live; how to raise your children; where to work (or not); or where, how or whom to worship. You are encouraged to make these choices on your own.

And God allows you to make more serious choices–life and death, blessing and curses. However, He does encourage you to choose life and do so wisely (Deuteronomy 30:19).

Are the decisions you are making in life promoting life or death? Second Corinthians 3:17 says, “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” When you make decisions based on the leading of the Spirit, you are choosing life and you are choosing freedom!

Take the time to evaluate where you work, how you spend your free time, what you listen to and read, and decide if you need to make some adjustments to preserve your freedom.

Preserve Freedom for Your Family

When you choose life, you are preserving freedom for yourself and your family. Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” It’s your responsibility to preserve freedom for your immediate family and for generations to come.

How do you do this? By your words and actions.

God has given you the responsibility to teach and train your children in His ways. Your children will imitate you, so let your words and actions mirror hope and positive expectations at home, at work and with others.

When you and your children are choosing to live in such a way that you are led by the Spirit of God and honor Him, God will honor you (1 Samuel 2:30). He ensures freedom is preserved for your family. Decide today to set an example for your children and future generations.

Preserve Freedom for Our Country

Times change, customs change, people change, but one thing remains constant: the fact that this nation was founded in faith toward God. It’s up to us to preserve the purity that belief in God provides. How do we do this?

First Timothy 2:1-2 says, “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.”

Your prayers will direct our national leaders to provide a peaceful life for all. Your prayers open the door for God to work in your city, in your state and in our country. Set aside some time each week to pray for those in authority in our country, giving God access to work in their lives to bring about His purposes and plans for our nation.

Preserving freedom in our country involves more than political activism; it begins at the individual level, where you choose to maintain freedom for yourself and your family.

As you do, you can also educate yourself about government, support leaders who demonstrate integrity, pray for our government leaders, and speak God’s will over our country. Continue the legacy that Abraham began when he chose to obey God, and preserve freedom in our country for many years to come!

Follow in the footsteps of the woman with the issue of blood to receive healing today. Let’s learn a little about this woman in the Bible, who suffered from a chronic condition that caused constant bleeding.

“A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years, she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse” (Mark 5:25-26).

You may be able to identify with this woman. She had done everything she knew to do to get well, but instead of getting better, she got worse!

Have you been struggling with a condition for a long time and haven’t felt better, but instead you’ve gotten worse? If so, you can receive healing today by following the same biblical steps this woman took.

Hear the Word

What did she hear? She heard the Word that Jesus miraculously healed people of their diseases, even incurable ones. Verse 27 says, “She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd….”

Maybe you haven’t heard that Jesus heals. Perhaps you have wondered if a miracle could happen to you. Those answers lie in learning about Jesus, the Healer.

Watch Healing School from the 2025 Southwest Believers’ Convention on Saturday, Aug. 2. Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn share God’s Word, faith is stirred, and God’s power heals many people!

The same anointing that was present in the Bible for the woman with the issue of blood is also present at Healing School in Fort Worth. No matter the time or distance, the same Jesus can heal you today!

Believe the Word

When the woman heard that Jesus was healing people, she came behind Him “and touched his robe” (verse 27). Her action of reaching out and touching Jesus’ robe showed that she believed Jesus could heal her.

The Bible has a lot to say about healing. You can read and believe healing scriptures to receive healing for whatever you need.

Speak the Word

After hearing the Word and believing the Word, “she thought to herself, ‘If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed'” (verse 28). One translation says that she kept saying this to herself, meaning she repeatedly spoke those words.

Words are powerful, especially words spoken in faith. It’s important to say what you want to happen. She spoke her healing, believing in the power of the Word of God (Jesus).

Do the Word

Then she had to act on the Word. She had to do the Word. Hoping no one saw her, “she touched the fringe of his robe” (Matthew 9:20).

It wasn’t lawful at that time to reach out and touch someone’s garment, especially when she was considered “unclean” due to her blood condition. But she did it anyway. She had faith in her heart, rooted in the Word she had heard, to reach out and touch the fringe of Jesus’ garment.

You might think, “I can’t touch Jesus like this woman did.” However, you can. Jesus is the Word (John 1:14; 1 John 1:1), and He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Be Healed by the Word

As soon as she touched His garment, “immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition” (Mark 5:29).

“Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, ‘Who touched my robe?’ His disciples said to him, ‘Look at this crowd pressing around you. How can you ask, ‘Who touched me?’ But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him, telling him what she had done. And he said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over‘” (verses 30-34).

Just like the woman with the issue of blood, you can use the same process to receive your healing. You can receive healing in your home, in church or at special services, such as KCM’s Southwest Believers’ Convention.

God wants you to be healed (3 John 2). Put your faith in God, follow the steps, and receive your healing today!

What mountains are you facing in life? Are you struggling in a particular relationship? Are you experiencing symptoms in your body? Are you having difficulty paying your bills? Do you lack the mountain-moving faith to get that mountain out of your way?

Whatever mountain you face that may look daunting and insurmountable, you may feel discouraged. That’s normal, but it’s vital that you know it’s also not what Jesus has planned for you. Walking in faith takes work.

Jesus wants you to move mountains. He said, “I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart” (Mark 11:23). You can speak to your mountain!

He went on to say, “I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy…, Nothing will injure you” (Luke 10:19). You can use your authority to speak to your mountain.

Keep reading to discover how to apply mountain-moving faith to your relationships, your finances and any sickness in your body.

Speak to the Mountain In Your Relationships

Facing difficulties in relationships can cause anxiety and confusion. Often in relationships, misunderstandings and communication problems can arise.

There are always better ways to walk in love with others, such as being patient and kind, and always thinking the best of others. You can enjoy better relationships when you prefer one another and walk in faith and humility.

Beyond better communication, it’s important to remember that you have an enemy. You do not wrestle against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). Speaking to the enemy of your relationships and commanding him to cease and desist in any maneuver against them will be one way to move mountains with your faith.

Overcome the Mountain In Your Finances

When your bills are piling up, what do you do? You may feel helpless in the face of the accumulating debt. You may be asking, “How do I attack my credit card debt?” You can walk in faith to move any mountain of debt in your finances or stubborn obstacle in your commitment to Christ Jesus.

One strategy is to ask God for wisdom. James 1:5 says, “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” Ask God to provide you with ways to get out of debt, such as tackling the smallest debts first or seeking a better job.

God knows what will work best for you and your family. Brother Copeland says, “Faith begins where the will of God is known.” Start finding out the will of God for your finances today and speak to that mountain of debt to be removed in Jesus’ Name!

Confess Healing to a Mountain of Sickness

When the Son of God died, went to hell, then rose again from the dead, He did so for your eternal salvation, and He also paid for your physical healing. Isaiah 53:5 says, “He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

Your healing is already paid for, and you can agree with God in a confession of faith. If you need to receive healing, declare, “I am healed. The Spirit of Life lives in me.” By aligning your words with God’s Word and speaking to the mountain of sickness and disease in your body, you are using your authority and exercising mountain-moving faith!

Knowing how to move mountains and live walking in faith is only one part of receiving all the tremendous benefits of your salvation. Your faith must be nourished with the Word of God.

And if you want to see mountain-moving faith in action, consider attending the 2025 Southwest Believers’ Convention in Fort Worth next week. The event is free and will feed your faith, helping you stand firm against any obstacle and see victory in your life!

All Christians want to believe they have “strong faith,” but what if they think they don’t? What if they are convinced that they have weak faith?

Times come in anyone’s life when they don’t see answers to their prayers. Maybe a friend betrayed them. Maybe healing hasn’t arrived yet. None of that moves God, and it shouldn’t move you from your stand of faith.

Jesus was impressed with the faith of the Roman centurion. His servant was sick, and as Jesus was coming to heal him, the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed” (Matthew 8:8).

That’s strong faith.

Standing on God’s promises also means not listening to the lies of the enemy. He doesn’t want you to use your faith. Instead, like the Roman centurion, when you are faced with difficult circumstances, choose to speak the Word of God!

Here are 8 solutions to change your thinking when you believe you have weak faith.

1.    Start a gratitude journal.

Start a gratitude journal. Each day, write down three things for which you are thankful. Don’t wait for a big move of God. Nothing God does is too small. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7). The Lord enjoys your thankfulness. Write about it and use that for inspiration when life tries to beat you up.

2.    Stir up your love for others.

Stirring yourself up to love others can be an effective way to overcome any feelings of weak faith, rather than simply acting on your emotions. Where can you demonstrate love for others? At your job? At home? At the grocery store? “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples” (John 13:34-35).

Seek opportunities to bless others through your words and actions. Take a stand on faith to demonstrate to the world you are Jesus’ disciple because of the love you have–and show–for others around you.

3.    Guide your day with your words.

Brother Copeland teaches that words are primarily carriers. “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer” (Psalm 19:14).
They carry the power to guide your day to blessing or cursing; so, it’s essential to watch what you say in times of strong faith or a sense of weak faith. Say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am more than a conqueror, and the blessings of God are mine!” (See Philippians 4:13; Romans 8:37.)

To strengthen your weak faith, read 4 Ways to Grow in Your Faith.

4.    Suit up!

“Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere” (Ephesians 6:14-18).

Suit up! Put on your spiritual armor. Start with the belt of truth that keeps every other piece of armor in place. Next, put on your breastplate of righteousness. Put on your shoes and remember to walk in forgiveness and peace with everyone (Romans 12:18). Put on your helmet to protect your thoughts from the enemy; grab your sword (the Word of God) and your shield of faith. Finally, pray! Suiting up in your armor will help you stand firm in your faith.

5.    Help someone else.

By helping someone else, you shift your attention from yourself to someone who needs it. Can you open the door, carry the groceries, or give a smile as you are out and about? Notice how many people you see who need encouragement. Speak blessings over them. Tell the drive-through workers, “God loves you!”

“Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you” (James 1:27). The more you invest in others, the less you focus on yourself. You may be surprised how much better you feel about yourself and how your faith is strengthened.

6.    Praise!

Praise glorifies God, and it’s something you can do, even when you aren’t feeling too certain about your faith. Sing a song of praise, read Psalm 100, shout “Praise the Lord! For he is good and his mercy endures forever” (Jeremiah 33:11, TLB).

If you don’t know how to praise, find some psalms to read as a praise from your heart. “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God” (Psalm 50:23, NKJV). Praise will remove weakness and strengthen your faith in God.

7.    Phone a friend!

When you are concerned you have weak faith and need to be strengthened in the Lord, call a friend you can trust who will speak God’s Word to you. “So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

Don’t wallow in weakness, doubt and unbelief. Remind each other of something the Lord did for you. Soon your weakness will fade, your faith will grow stronger, and you will both be encouraged and ready to encourage others.

Watch Kenneth Copeland teach Jesus, the Developer of Your Faith

8.     Repent, pray and let the Lord encourage you.

If your faith doesn’t seem as strong as you want, check yourself and repent. Take a moment to assess if you are spending too much time on worldly things. If necessary, turn from the way you are using your time, and “seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need” (Matthew 6:33).

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, NKJV). Nothing strengthens your faith like time in God’s presence. If you feel you have disappointed God with your thoughts, words or actions; and have separated yourself from sweet fellowship with Him, receive His forgiveness. God loves you!

Let God work with you as you apply these solutions to your prayer life and walk with God. The weakness of faith you sometimes feel is a weapon the devil uses to keep you from enjoying your life with God. Don’t believe the lie that says because you have weak faith, God has turned His attention away from you, or He is finished with you. Choose to speak the Word only and see God work mightily in your life!

What is your soul? Your soul is made up of your mind, will and emotions. Are you doing the things that keep your soul healthy? These 8 Ways To Maintain a Healthy Soul will guide you toward activities that support the health of your soul.

1. Cultivate Strong, Positive Friendships

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” -Proverbs 27:17

You may already have strong, positive friendships, but it’s good to be open to more. Friends are made by starting with a smile. If you need help finding friends who will encourage you and speak positively to you, start by visiting a small group at your local church. You may want to start a prayer group and invite people of all ages. Pray for the Holy Spirit to lead you to the right people. Remember, to have a friend, you must be friendly (Proverbs 18:24, NKJV)!

2. Pray and Meditate

“I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles.” -Psalm 145:5

Meditation means spending time thinking about and talking to the Lord about His Word. Take a few moments each day to read a verse of Scripture. Then ask the Lord, the author of the Bible, to explain what He said and how it applies to you. Your time with Him will culminate in praise and thanksgiving to God for being your personal Lord and Savior.

3. Practice Thankfulness

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:6-7

Make it a practice to daily thank God for everything good. This will raise your awareness of all He does for you each day. Thank Him for your family, your health, your strength, your safety and each thing you may have forgotten to plan for, yet He took care of. Make a list of the “little” provisions from the Lord, and let thanksgiving stay on your lips.

4. Avoid Gossip and Negativity

“Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.” -Ephesians 4:29

It can be a challenge to “let everything you say be good and helpful.” The temptation to criticize and point out what is wrong is all around, but you can choose to speak what is good. If others want you to join their negative conversation, turn the talk to something good. If that doesn’t work, just walk away. Soon, they will realize your upbeat focus and perhaps join you!

5. Enjoy Positive Entertainment

“Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” -Philippians 4:8

Let the movies, music, books and TV shows you watch lift you up, not tear you down. Instead of watching horror movies that portray and exalt evil, or entertainment that demonstrates the depravity of human nature, turn to VICTORY Channel and let those godly speakers build up your faith.

6. Learn a New Hobby

“May the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!” -Psalm 90:17

Finding new hobbies and learning new skills can be fun. Learning to play an instrument, paint a landscape, or cook the perfect dish can expand your creativity and possibly hone your existing talents in certain areas. Fire up those power tools, build that bird house, and admire your new handiwork. Your introduction to new ideas will stimulate your mind and provide health to your soul.

7. Get Outdoors

“Praise him, O heaven and earth, the seas and all that move in them.” -Psalm 69:34

Nature is full of beautiful surprises like relaxing sunsets and glorious sunrises, fragrant flowers and all kinds of things you may not have taken the time to enjoy. So, take a walk or a hike in a park. Go fishing on a lake. Have a snowball fight with your kids or build a snowman. Go camping. Garden. Your soul–your mind, will and emotions–will welcome the new experiences.

8. Practice Love

“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” -John 13:34-35

Practice showing love to others. A smile, a warm handshake, or an encouraging word can go a long way toward reassuring someone they are valuable. Your words contain power, and they can have a lasting influence on others.

Allow the Holy Spirit to point out something good about each person you meet; then tell them! Ladies especially enjoy hearing a sincere compliment. Men like to know they are respected and appreciated for what they do. Even a simple, “I see Jesus in you” can brighten someone’s day.

As you give love, your heavenly Father gives it back to you (Luke 6:38). So, don’t be surprised if people begin showing love and appreciation to you!

Pick out some of these 8 Ways to Maintain a Healthy Soul to implement in your life today. In order to prosper physically, financially and in every other area in life, your soul must prosper first (3 John 2, NKJV). Your soul–made up of your mind, will and emotions–matters to the Lord!

Is your faith working as well as it should be? There are two keys that make faith work. They are like rocket fuel for your spirit. The best part–we can apply these keys and see results in our lives quickly, no matter how new we are at understanding faith.

As you read these 2 Keys That Make Faith Work, get ready to launch your faith to the next level!

Key #1: Faith Works by Love

“For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.” -Galatians 5:6 (AMPC)

Have you ever tried to quench your thirst with an empty glass of water? It’s not possible, is it? Well, the same idea applies to love. Just like we can’t expect an empty glass to quench our thirst and give our body the water it needs to operate at its highest level, so we can’t expect our faith to operate at its highest level without first filling up on love. When we choose to make time and fill up with the Word, we can’t help but to become saturated with love. Kenneth Copeland says we get to a place where “every word you speak drips with love and everyone you come in contact with is affected by that love.”

Once you fill up on love, your faith can carry you to love others unconditionally and under any circumstance. As Brother Copeland teaches, love is a way of life; we don’t put it down or pick it up whenever it’s convenient. Love is present with us all the time. Love is, as he says, “a life being love-conscious instead of self-conscious. If you are not being love-conscious, you will always take the selfish route. Being love-conscious does not come automatically; it requires training.” And we get that training by practicing our love walk on one another. As we love and edify one another, God comes to inhabit our spirit, allowing His love to become perfected in us (Ephesians 4:15-16,  6:8; 1 John 4:10-12).

Key #2: Faith Works by Forgiveness

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.” -Mark 11:25 (AMPC)

None of us is perfect, and because of that, sometimes we can fall short of walking uprightly. And yet, when others make mistakes and hurt us, we can hold on to that hurt and choose not to forgive immediately. Unfortunately, walking in unforgiveness pulls us, as well as others, down fast. It often directs our focus to hold a grudge or an offense. Instead of holding on to our faith and giving our problems over to God, we hold on tightly to unforgiveness, which lays our faith aside (Luke 6:37).

This is why Kenneth Copeland suggests that when you’re getting ready to hold onto unforgiveness, and possibly even judge someone, speak your forgiveness out loud immediately. That forgiving love you are expressing will skyrocket your faith!

Besides feeding your faith, forgiveness is attributed to walking in miracle power. In Mark 11:23, Jesus encourages us to move mountains by speaking to them. But there’s a catch. Jesus implicitly tells us that before praying in power and moving mountains, we must do one thing: forgive (Mark 11:20-25). Basically, if we want to move mountains, and operate in the miracle-working, explosive power of God, we must first have enough faith to walk in forgiveness (Ephesians 4:29-32; James 5:15-16). After all, we’ve been forgiven in Christ; and now we have the privilege of extending forgiveness to others, and being tenderhearted and kind to draw people to the love of God.

As you’ve read these 2 Keys That Make Faith Work, you’re now ready to skyrocket your faith. Walking in love and forgiveness will generate God’s presence and the blessings in your life, making you a beacon of light to others, and inspiring them to walk in the fullness of their faith as well.

Have you ever walked into a room where your kids were fussing and fighting? What did you do? Did you ignore the situation? Did you turn around and go back out the door you came in? No! You addressed the situation immediately.

That’s exactly what Paul did with the church at Corinth in 1 Corinthians 11. This church was fussing, fighting and not getting along. Paul addressed them in this letter: “First, I hear that there are divisions among you when you meet as a church…. When you meet together, you are not really interested in the Lord’s Supper. For some of you hurry to eat your own meal without sharing with others. As a result, some go hungry while others get drunk” (verses 18, 20-21). Paul then goes on to explain how they are to partake of the Lord’s Supper (Communion) and how their fussing and fighting–their not walking in love with one another–could even be a  hindrance to the healing of their bodies (verses 29-30).

Examine yourself to see if you are walking in love, make any adjustments in your heart, and follow these 7 Steps To Take Communion for Your Healing.

What Is Communion?

Communion is much more than a religious tradition–it symbolizes everything Jesus did for you at Calvary. When you partake of the cup (representing the blood), you are remembering that Jesus delivered you from sin. When you eat the bread (representing His body), you are acknowledging the physical and spiritual torment Jesus endured to deliver you from temptation, addiction, worry, care, fear, poverty, lack and every part of the curse. That includes sickness and disease (Isaiah 53:5).

When Can You Take Communion?

You don’t have to wait until you go to church to receive Communion. You can receive it anytime and anywhere. In fact, if you haven’t made a practice of taking Communion on a regular basis, it’s time to start! The Communion table is the healing table, the deliverance table and the confession table. It’s the powerhouse of God.

Watch Kenneth Copeland as he teaches about taking Communion HERE.

Every time you take Communion, it drives your roots even deeper into your faith in what the Covenant of God means to you, and what the body and blood of Jesus has paid for you. Use your faith to take Communion and do so with determined purpose.

Take Communion for Your Healing

Step 1: Purchase a Communion set for your own personal use. There are even individual, prefilled cup and wafer sets with a long shelf life available for easy use or transport. Alternatively, you can use crackers and grape juice (or anything else!).

Step 2: You can take Communion alone, or with a family member or friend.

Step 3: You can take Communion every day. Taking Communion is appropriating the blood of Jesus over your life, thanking Him for ALL He has done. It isn’t a religious ceremony, so you don’t have to wait for a minister to serve it to you.

Step 4: Examine yourself before you take Communion. Before you partake, the Bible tells you to examine your heart (1 Corinthians 11:28-29). Ask God for forgiveness in areas where you’ve missed the mark (strife, unforgiveness, jealousy, envy, hatred, covetousness, fear, worry, unbelief, etc.). Also, be sure you are not receiving Communion as just a religious exercise instead of accepting everything Jesus’ sacrifice provided.

Step 5: Partake of the bread, which symbolizes the physical and spiritual torment Jesus bore to redeem you from all areas of the curse. With this in mind, say: Lord, it’s not right that I suffer from sickness or disease. I judge it now as being from Satan, and I reject it. I refuse to receive it any longer. I partake of the sacrifice of Your Son’s body, and I receive the abundant life that You have provided, in Jesus’ Name.

Step 6: Partake of the cup and make this confession: Father, I give You thanks for all You have provided for me through the New Covenant in Christ Jesus. I partake of those promises now! I am healed. I am redeemed. I am the head and not the tail. I am above and not beneath. I take the healing You sacrificed to give me, and I thank You and praise You for it, in Jesus’ Name.

Step 7: Be settled on the matter. Once you have taken Communion, settle your healing in your heart according to God’s Word. Don’t just hope it is done–know it.

No matter what sickness or pain you are experiencing in your body, you can be delivered through these 7 Steps To Take Communion for Your Healing. God is the best parent, and instead of ignoring the fussing and fighting among His family–the Body of Christ–He has provided a way for believers to examine themselves, make sure they are walking in love, and allow the healing power of God to work in their bodies.

Be encouraged with this testimony of someone who received healing through Communion HERE.

Wondering how to get a breakthrough in your finances?

If you’re facing a challenging situation in your finances today, you may already be tithing, giving and speaking the Word over your circumstances. But if you haven’t yet achieved victory in this area, you may be wondering what else you can do, aside from standing for a manifestation. One powerful tool that is often overlooked by Christians is the taking of Communion. Follow these 7 Steps To Take Communion Over Your Finances to settle the fact that God wants you to prosper.

What Is Communion?

When you eat the bread (representing His body), you are acknowledging the physical and spiritual torment Jesus endured to deliver you from worry, care, fear, sickness, disease and every part of the curse.

God created Communion for a reason. When you receive it, you should plan to partake of everything Jesus’ sacrifice provided–salvation, peace of mind, healing and total prosperity. Third John 2 says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (NKJV). Don’t neglect to enjoy the gifts Jesus sacrificed to give you.

You’ve probably heard it said that unforgiveness is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. It’s an odd turn of phrase, but the meaning is clear: If you hold on to unforgiveness, it can cut your life short. Whether it’s carrying offense in your heart from an argument with your spouse, or harboring long-term resentment toward someone who has wounded you deeply, unresolved conflict can affect your physical well-being.

In fact, studies have shown that the act of forgiveness can lower your risk for a heart attack, improving your cholesterol levels and your sleep. It can reduce pain in your body; and lower your blood pressure and levels of anxiety, depression and stress. None of this should come as a surprise because God said, “My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life” (Proverbs 4:10).

Find out what God says to do every time you’re hurt. You can experience a better quality of life by practicing these 10 Scriptures To Forgive Others and Enjoy a Long Life.

10 Decisions for a Long Life

6 Keys To Living the Life God Planned for You

The average adult makes between 33,000 and 35,000 decisions a day. These decisions cover decisions you make for yourself like what you will wear, what you will eat and what errands you will run as well as decisions you make for others, like your children, parents, spouse or work colleagues.

Imagine if you could make all those decisions completely in line with what God wants you to do–every single time! Imagine if each of those decisions brought life–the eternal, God-kind of life that Jesus came to give you. It may sound impossible, but it’s not.

God never tells you to do something that He hasn’t empowered you to do. He said, “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20). You can make the right decision every time by implementing 20 Ways To Choose Life In 2025.

  1. Choose life by listening to the Word: “So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ” (Romans 10:17).
  2. Choose life by feeding on the Word: “But Jesus told him, ‘No! The Scriptures say, “People do not live by bread alone'” (Luke 4:4).
  3. Choose life by obeying the Word: “You must love the Lord your God and always obey his requirements, decrees, regulations, and commands” (Deuteronomy 11:1).
  4. Choose life by putting the Word first place: “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need” (Matthew 6:33).
  5. Choose life by building yourself up in the Holy Spirit: “But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit” (Jude 1:20).
  6. Choose life by thinking God’s thoughts instead of your own: “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect” (Romans 12:2).
  7. Choose life by forgiving freely: “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others” (Colossians 3:13).
  8. Choose life when you choose your words: “Don’t worry about how to defend yourself or what to say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said” (Luke 12:11-12).
  9. Choose life as you speak: “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:20-21, NKJV).
  10. Choose life by avoiding strife and contention: “For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind” (James 3:16).
  11. Choose life by believing God’s promises: “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise” (Hebrews 10:23).
  12. Choose life with the way you live: “So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” (Galatians 5:16).
  13. Choose life by using your authority: “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you” (Luke 10:19).
  14. Choose life by loving one another: “Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning” (2 John 6).
  15. Choose life by tithing and getting God involved in your finances: “‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,’ says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, ‘I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!'” (Malachi 3:10)
  16. Choose life by giving generously: “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full–pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back” (Luke 6:38).
  17. Choose life by ministering to others: “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me…when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” (Matthew 25:35, 40).
  18. Choose life by looking at the Word instead of worldly things: “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!” (Matthew 6:22-23).
  19. Choose life by walking in God’s wisdom: “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere” (James 3:17).
  20. Choose life by gathering in church with other believers: “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near” (Hebrews 10:25).

If you put these 20 Ways To Choose Life In 2025 into practice, you can be assured that your everyday decisions from small to great will be the right ones focused on God and His Word.

  5. Answer You–“You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” (John 14:13-14).
  6. Deliver You–“Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11).
  7. Protect You–“The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10).
  8. Give You Boldness–“This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her, ‘I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.’ And instantly it left her” (Acts 16:18).
  9. Cleanse You–“But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11).

The Power of the Name of Jesus–Backed by the Blood of Jesus

When you experience a symptom or issue in any part of your body and you decide to check in with your doctor or run by the neighborhood clinic, you can usually count on being diagnosed, treated and on the road to recovery fairly quickly. Of course, there may be prescriptions, a treatment plan and follow-up involved, but if you take your medicine and follow the doctor’s orders, you typically expect to get better.

God may lead you to go to a doctor, and many doctors are anointed by God to do their job to facilitate health and healing in your body. In addition to following the leading of the Lord to a physical doctor, what if you turned to God’s Word just as you would to the medicine prescribed by your health care provider? When Solomon, in all his wisdom, wrote Proverbs, he said that God’s Words “bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body,” or as another translation says, they are medicine to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:22, Jubilee Bible). That includes every body part!

God’s Word is life-giving–as it was at Creation when He spoke all things into existence (Genesis 1)–and it is also life-sustaining. God’s Word can heal you of all sickness, disease, injury and harm that might come against you. Even better, you don’t have to wait for symptoms or injuries to happen–you can take God’s Word as a preventative too! You can take God’s medicine for healing of every body part by reading, meditating and speaking the following scriptures:

  1. Healing for your eyes: “Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was clear, and he was as strong as ever” (Deuteronomy 34:7).
  2. Healing for your ears: “Ears to hear and eyes to see–both are gifts from the LORD” (Proverbs 20:12).
  3. Healing for your lungs: “God, the LORD, created the heavens and stretched them out. He created the earth and everything in it. He gives breath to everyone, life to everyone who walks the earth” (Isaiah 42:5).
  4. Healing for your back: “A woman…. was unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, ‘Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!’ Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight” (Luke 13:11-13).
  5. Healing for your hands: “Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands” (Job 4:3, AMPC).
  6. Healing for your skin: “For they [God’s Words] are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:22, NKJV).
  7. Healing for your heart: “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).
  8. Healing for your knees: “Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, and you have strengthened the feeble knees” (Job 4:4, NKJV).
  9. Healing for your legs: “And I will strengthen [Israel] in the Lord, and they shall walk up and down and glory in His name, says the Lord” (Zechariah 10:12, AMPC).
  10. Healing for your reproductive system: “He will love you and bless you, and he will give you many children. He will give fertility to your land and your animals…. None of your men or women will be childless, and all your livestock will bear young” (Deuteronomy 7:13-14).

Watch Kenneth and Gloria Copeland tell us 101 things God says about healing here:

What if you have an illness that isn’t mentioned above? God has provided for you too! Deuteronomy 28 lists many sicknesses and diseases and calls them curses; you may find your particular ailment listed in Deuteronomy 28. If you can’t find the specific illness you are experiencing, you can read verse 61, which says, “every sickness and plague there is, even those not mentioned in this Book of Instruction.” That includes every sickness and disease that exists! Then Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’)” (NKJV). Because of Jesus, you have been redeemed from every sickness and disease!

Today can be your receiving day, the day you receive Jesus as your primary health care provider, the day you learn How To Take God’s Medicine for Healing and turn your health and well-being around!

When you were first saved, you probably did not know all the promises given to you in the Word, but you did know about the Name of Jesus. You got saved when you called on the Name of Jesus because “everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved” (Romans 10:13).

The Word also says that “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11).

When you stood on that Name at the time of salvation, even though you didn’t know anything else, you could walk in the power of the Name. The Name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Old Testament are actually all the early Church had for its first 10 years–and they did just fine.

Whatever you do, don’t stop using the Name. It’s good for more than getting saved–it’s good for everything you might come up against for the rest of your life. Take authority over what comes against you using God’s Word and the Name of Jesus.

  1. When you face sickness, use the Name of Jesus. In the Name of Jesus, I declare that based on 1 Peter 2:24, by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed! I receive my healing now.
  2. When you experience lack, use the Name of Jesus. In the Name of Jesus, I declare that as a tither and according to God’s riches in heaven, every need I have is met in Christ Jesus (Malachi 3:10-11; Philippians 4:19). I declare that I have more than enough for every need in my life!
  3. When you encounter fear, use the Name of Jesus. According to 2 Timothy 1:7, God has not given me a spirit of fear, therefore I declare that fear has no hold on me in Jesus’ Name. I am free from all fear!
  4. When you have anxiety and worry, use the Name of Jesus. I declare in the Name of Jesus according to Philippians 4:6-7 that I do not need to be anxious or worry about anything. I pray about everything in the Name of Jesus, and I declare that I have the peace that passes all understanding. It guards my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.
  5. When you see your child, or another loved one who isn’t saved, wandering away from God, use the Name of Jesus. I declare in the Name of Jesus and based on God’s Word in Acts 16:31 that not only would I be saved, but also everyone in my household. I declare that ______________________ is saved and filled with the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ Name!
  6. When you discover unforgiveness in your heart, use the Name of Jesus. In Jesus’ Name and according to Ephesians 4:32, I declare that I am tenderhearted and forgiving. I forgive _____________________, Lord, just as You have forgiven me.
  7. When you need wisdom, use the Name of Jesus. According to James 1:5, God gives me wisdom. Therefore, I declare by faith and in the Name of Jesus that I am a wise person. I make wise decisions. I see the situations and circumstances in my life through the eyes and understanding of wisdom.
  8. When you identify powers and principalities in the heavenly realm and darkness of this world that are threatening any part of your life, use the Name of Jesus. According to Ephesians 6:12, I am not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places–and I have authority over them all in the mighty Name of Jesus. So, I declare in the Name of Jesus they have no power over me or anything pertaining to my life and family.
  9. When you have weather threatening the safety of your property, use the Name of Jesus. Just as Jesus spoke to the wind and the sea, I declare in the Name of Jesus that no weapon formed against me and my property shall prosper. Nothing shall harm me or my family in any way! (See Luke 8:23-26, 10:19; Isaiah 54:17.)
  10. When you are falsely accused, use the Name of Jesus. In the Name of Jesus, I declare that every word that rises up against me, You, Lord, shall condemn. You will silence every voice that unjustly accuses me (Isaiah 54:17).

When you come up against any other name, whatever it is, you can use the Name of Jesus to see victory in your life–cancer, diabetes, heart disease, debt, poverty–use the Name! The Name that is above all other names! The Name of Jesus!

The 2024 United States presidential election is not just about you; it is about future generations. What kind of nation will you leave to your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren? Proverbs 13:22 (AMPC) says, “A good man leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and goodness] to his children’s children….” In order to leave an inheritance of moral stability and goodness to your children, you must prepare them to vote. The following four steps will ensure that future generations understand the importance of voting and that our nation continues to be “one nation under God.”

1. Teach Your Children About the Importance of Voting

It is never too early to start teaching them about the importance of voting. When Jeremy Pearsons, son of Pastors George and Terri Pearsons, was a kid, he said to his parents, “If I could vote, I would.” Then he added, “When I can, I will.” His desire to vote came from his parents, who intentionally instilled that into him.

2. Teach Your Children About God’s Criteria for Leadership

God explains in Exodus 18:21-22 who qualifies for leadership within government: “But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten. They should always be available to solve the people’s common disputes, but have them bring the major cases to you. Let the leaders decide the smaller matters themselves. They will help you carry the load, making the task easier for you.”

3. Teach Your Children To Vote for Those Who Represent Biblical Values

Spend time with your children comparing the party platforms to the Bible. What does the party platform say? How does that compare with what the Bible says? In addition, compare the politicians’ actions to the Bible. What did the politicians do during their term? What kind of decisions did they make? How do those decisions compare to the Bible? The Word of God is always your standard for voting. (Confused about where to find this information? We have an election resource page with all the info you need, from national races to local. 4. Teach Your Children About Covenants Made With God Concerning This Nation

In the 1620 Mayflower Covenant, the pilgrims left England for religious freedom. Upon arrival at Cape Cod Bay, they wrote, “In the Name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God…having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith…do covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body.” Other covenants include the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the ending of the Revolutionary War.

Why Is This Important?

By preparing your children to vote, you are teaching them to vote for leaders who will best represent the standards of God’s Word. You are investing in future generations and leaving a legacy that ensures that Jesus is Lord over the United States of America.

The Apostle Paul knew what you would be up against as a believer in these last days. And he knew it wouldn’t be easy. In fact, he warned us by saying, “Be careful how you live…. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days” (Ephesians 5:15-16).

Maybe you find yourself challenged to “make the most of every opportunity” when it comes to growing in your faith, holding your family together, achieving financial goals, or just finding motivation to get out of bed most mornings. Thankfully, Paul didn’t leave us hanging, but offered some solid advice for successfully navigating through these tough end times: “Put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm” (Ephesians 6:13).

Paul then went on to list in Ephesians 6, 7 Strategic Ways to Exercise Authority–and Stand Your Ground! These are time-tested strategies we can use to combat the “evil” of our generation and overcome it by giving voice–confessing–and joining our faith to the power of God’s Word. Speak these confessions aloud every day to stand your ground!

1. Put on the belt of truth (verse 14).

I put on the belt of truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life that I follow (John 14:6). I am faithful to Jesus’ teachings, and I know Jesus (the Truth), and He (the Truth) sets me free (John 8:31-32).

2. Put on the armor of God’s righteousness (verse 14).

I put on the righteousness of God. I have been made right with God (Romans 5:1). The enemy has nothing in me, nothing on me and no power over me (John 14:30).

3. Put on the shoes of peace (verse 15).

I put on the shoes of peace that come from the good news. I am ready to preach the good news of peace with God (Isaiah 52:7, AMPC). I am always ready to explain the hope I have as a believer (1 Peter 3:15).

4. Hold up the shield of faith (verse 16).
I hold up the shield of faith that stops the fiery arrows of the devil. The “switch of faith” is always turned on in me and in my household (Hebrews 11). Jesus holds me securely, and the evil one cannot touch me (1 John 5:18).

5. Put on salvation as your helmet (verse 17).
I put on salvation as my helmet. I am covered by the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:7, 9; Hebrews 10:18-22). I am covered by the Name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). I am covered by prayers and intercessions of Jesus (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 3:1; 1 John 2:1).

6. Take up the sword of the Spirit (verse 17).
I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s Word. God’s Word is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Faith comes to me by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:13-17, NKJV).

7. Pray in the spirit (verse 18).
I pray in the spirit–in other tongues–at all times and on every occasion (1 Corinthians 14:15). I remain alert, and I am persistent in my prayers for all believers, everywhere (1 Timothy 2:1-4; 1 Peter 5:8-9). I never stop praying (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

These 7 Strategic Ways To Exercise Authority and Stand Your Ground will help you defeat the enemy and see more victories in your life. Paul knew the only way we can stay strong in any endeavor is to put on the whole armor of God, so we can stand firm against all the strategies of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We have to take each piece of God’s armor and put it on, apply it and exercise it (Ephesians 6:11). Then, we activate each of these heavenly pieces of armor by giving voice to them and releasing our faith. This is how we exercise our authority. After the battle, once the dust has settled and we’ve done all to stand–we will be found standing in our authority, and victorious in every area of life!

Did You Know You Have Authority?

What Dominion Really Means

When Jesus left this earthly realm, He did not leave us defenseless against the enemy, the devil. He didn’t leave us to be devoured or tormented by the works of the devil. No, not at all. After the resurrection, when Jesus sat down at the right hand of God, He seated us with Himself, which meant that He gave us His authority to defeat the enemy in every area of our lives. This is the same authority He used when He walked the earth and healed the sick, cast out devils, calmed the storm and raised the dead!

“For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6).

If we have been born again, we have authority over the devil and all his evil works–just like Jesus did. This includes sickness and disease, lack and poverty, relational division and strife…and every wicked thing the devil stirs up in our world.

But if we don’t take our God-given authority and use it, nothing will change, and we will leave a defeated life. God has called us to be agents of change in our world and in this world. It’s our responsibility to enforce the goodness of God over the works of the devil in our lives, in the lives of others, and in all of society. But we have to choose it. We have to rise up and speak the Word of God that’s backed by the blood of Jesus.

To help you remember your place and position of authority as a believer, consider these 10 Scriptures That Prove Your Authority as a Believer. Then, start speaking God’s Word to every area of your life, releasing the authority and power Jesus has given to you.

  1. “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you” (Luke 10:19).
  2. “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world” (1 John 4:4).
  3. “You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross” (Colossians 2:13-15).
  4. “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you” (Romans 16:20).
  5. “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm” (Ephesians 6:12-13).
  6. “These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed” (Mark 16:17-18).
  7. “I don’t have much more time to talk to you, because the ruler of this world approaches. He has no power over me” (John 14:30).
  8. “One day Jesus called together his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases. Then he sent them out to tell everyone about the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick” (Luke 9:1-2).
  9. “For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins” (Colossians 1:13-14).
  10. “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:18-19).

It’s the truth that sets us free (John 8:31-32), and it’s the truth of your authority that will make you free to use it to initiate change your life…and this world!

We are people of faith, but we sometimes need help to get past the fear that tries to overwhelm us. Just keep moving! you tell yourself. Don’t look back…. It’ll go away…. Just don’t think about it! But nothing you tell yourself works, at least not for long.

What’s keeping you up at night? Making your heart race and blood pressure skyrocket?

What’s tempting you to isolate and shut down, or lose yourself in a crowd?

Whatever those triggering conversations or scenarios may be, however long or short your list of anxieties is–there’s hope. There’s help. There are steps you can take to keep you moving; and always, God’s Word has your answer! Keep reading to discover 10 Steps to Get You Past Your Greatest Fears.

Stop the Fear–Receive the Love

When a father standing in the middle of a crowded street was told his only daughter (age 12) had just died, Jesus immediately said to him, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed” (Luke 8:50).

Jesus’ point: Don’t give any mental place to fear. It will rob you of your daughter’s life. Rather, pay attention to–set your focus on–God’s love, and believe.

Maybe love doesn’t seem a likely antidote for your anxieties, but notice what the Apostle John has to say, a follower of Jesus who had lot of insight and experience when it came to God’s love for humanity: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18, NKJV).

Fear is an age-old weapon your enemy, Satan, uses to steal your faith, which is your connection to God. Remember Jesus’ words to a father in crisis: “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith….”

At our most critical, vulnerable times in life, the enemy tries to drive a wedge of fear between us and our heavenly Father, who is love, and loves us dearly (verse 16). Those are especially the times we don’t need to be caught short on confidence in God’s love for us. So consider the following 10 Steps to Get You Past Your Greatest Fears –confessions that can help set your sights above those triggering situations.

  1. My Father’s love for me never ends; His love is faithful (Lamentations 3:22).
  2. Mountains may move and hills disappear, but even then my Father’s faithful love for me will remain; His covenant of blessing will never be broken (Isaiah 54:10).
  3. My Father loves me with an everlasting love; He draws me to Himself with unfailing love (Jeremiah 31:3).
  4. My Father lives within me; and He is my mighty Savior. He takes delight in me with gladness. He calms all my fears with His love, and rejoices over me with joyful songs (Zephaniah 3:17).
  5. This is how much my Father loves me: He gave His one and only Son, so that I would not perish but have eternal life. He sent His Son to me not to judge or condemn me, but to save me through Him (John 3:16-17).
  6. I know how dearly my Father loves me, because He has given me His Holy Spirit to fill my heart with His love…and He showed His great love for me by sending Christ to die for me while I was still a sinner (Romans 5:5, 8).
  7. Overwhelming victory is mine through Christ, who loves me. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate me from my Father’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither my fears for today nor my worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate me from His great love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate me from my Father’s love as revealed in Christ Jesus my Lord (Romans 8:37-39).
  8. My Father’s love is patient and kind; not envious; not proud or puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil of me; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears me up in all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. My Father’s love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, NKJV).
  9. Christ has made His home in my heart because I trust in Him. My roots grow down into my Father’s love and keep me strong. He gives me understanding of how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love for me is. I experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. I am made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from my Father by His love for me (Ephesians 3:17-19).
  10. My Father loves me so much, for He calls me His child, and that is what I am! (1 John 3:1).

The Apostle John encourages us that “as we live in God [love], our love grows more perfect [complete, full-grown]. So we will not be afraid…” (1 John 4:17).

There’s always more room for you to grow in God’s love–and with these 10 Steps to Get You Past Your Greatest Fears, you can!

The Scripture shows us a number of kinds of prayer. Ephesians 6:18 indicates there is all manner of prayer: “Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty” (AMPC). There’s personal prayer, the prayer for the sick (James 5:14-16), and corporate prayer, among many others. For example…

  1. There’s the Prayer of Salvation: “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved….” For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved'” (Romans 10:9-13, NKJV).
  2. There’s the Prayer of Agreement: “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:19, NKJV).
  3. There’s the Prayer of Dedication: “And He [Jesus] was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, ‘Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done'” (Luke 22:41-42, NKJV).
  4. There’s the Prayer of Thanksgiving and Praise: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6, NKJV).
  5. And there’s the Prayer of Petition: “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him” (1 John 5:13-20, NKJV).

Have you ever petitioned the very throne room of God, according to His Word, keeping in mind that His Word is His will? When Hannah longed to have a child, the Word says:

Hannah arose after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the tabernacle of the LORD. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD and wept in anguish. Then she made a vow and said, “O LORD of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.” And it happened, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli watched her mouth. Now Hannah spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk. So Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Put your wine away from you!” But Hannah answered and said, “No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. Do not consider your maidservant a wicked woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.” Then Eli answered and said, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him” (1 Samuel 1:9-17, NKJV).

If we were to keep reading, we’d see in verses 20 and 27 that Hannah received her petition. “For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition which I asked of Him” (1 Samuel 1:27, NKJV).

A petition is a formal written request addressed to a sovereign superior for a particular right or grace. In our lives, it’s a formal written request addressed to God Himself. Is there something you’re needing that is in accordance with the will and Word of God? Then write your petition. John 15:7 says, “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!”

When we ask (petition) God for what we want; when we write it down, along with the scripture we’re standing on, praying in faith, we will receive a heavenly grant! Every year, when the board of directors of Kenneth Copeland Ministries gathers and they determine what the ministry needs to operate for the upcoming year, it is written as a petition, and they all pray in agreement for God to grant their petition.

What is it that you need?

Write it down. Write a petition based on a scripture (or several scriptures) and watch God give you a heavenly grant. Watch Him grant your petition!

In Exodus 15, God shares a crucial truth about your health and healing. “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you” (verse 26, New King James Version). As this makes clear, it is God’s will to heal us!

More scriptures agree with this truth: Deuteronomy 28:61; Galatians 3:13; and 1 Peter 2:22-24, as well as in many other verses. And yet, based on what Exodus 15:26 says, God’s healing for us is conditional. Moses wrote, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes…” then….

If we do what God has asked of us, then He will do what He promised. Proverbs 4 shows us these conditions as well: “My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body. Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (verses 20-23).

To give attention to God’s Words is to put them first. To put them first place in your life. To put them first place in the morning, in the middle of the day and the last thing at night. You must read them, pray them, confess them and declare them.

When we give our attention to God’s words, they become health and healing to our flesh, or medicine as one translation says. Just like we take natural medicine for sickness, so we are to take our spiritual medicine, which is the Word of God.

To help you begin taking God’s supernatural medicine, consider these 10 Scriptures To Build Your Faith for Healing.

  1. For I am the Lord who heals you. (Exodus 15:26)
  2. You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst. (Exodus 23:25-26)
  3. And the Lord will take away from you all sickness. (Deuteronomy 7:15)
  4. The Lord nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health. (Psalm 41:3)
  5. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
  6. But he [Jesus] was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
  7. “I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 30:17)
  8. Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And He healed every kind of disease and illness. (Matthew 4:23)
  9. He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
  10. Think of it–the Lord is ready to heal me! I will sing His praises with instruments every day of my life. (Isaiah 38:20)

When we give our attention to God’s Word, He attends to us. Psalm 107:20, NKJV is a promise we can count on: “He sent His Word and healed them.”

Mark 4:24 tells us, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given” NKJV).

According to this verse, we have the power to measure our seed. We have the power to affect the harvest our seed will produce. Seed grows. Seed multiplies. Seeds produce a harvest.

For example, naturally speaking, one apple seed will produce a tree that will flourish into a harvest of apples. In the same way, any seed you plant in faith will produce a harvest. A financial seed. A relational seed. A seed of time, talent, ability, skill. Any type of good seed, sown in faith, will grow.

Ephesians 6:8 promises us: “Knowing that for whatever good anyone does, he will receive his reward from the Lord” (AMPC).

What kind of harvest do you need? Then sow a seed and consider these 3 Steps for Measuring Your Seed.

1. Sow Good Seed

When Oral Roberts first took a pastorate, there was no parsonage for him, Evelyn and their children, so they were staying with a deacon of the church. Naturally, this was distressing to Evelyn because she couldn’t see how this was going to work long term. She told Oral that if the church couldn’t provide a home, they would have to leave.

In a bold step of faith, one Wednesday night, Oral sowed his entire paycheck into the offering of the church–without telling Evelyn. At the end of the service, he told the people, “We are going to have a parsonage at this church, and I’m starting the offering with $50.” Once he did that, the piano player jumped up, grabbed a hat, and started receiving the offering in his hat.

There wasn’t enough in that night’s offering to build a parsonage, but Oral understood the power of seedtime and harvest.

Genesis 8:22 says, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (AMPC).

Well, at about 4 a.m. the next morning, there was a knock at the door. Oral opened the door to the find the wealthiest farmer in the county standing there. “Oral,” he began, “I’m ashamed that I didn’t put anything in that offering last night. I’m a farmer. I know if I want a harvest that I must plant a seed.” Then, handing Oral four crisp $100 bills, he said, “I had this buried in a can out in my backyard.”

According to Oral, he had never seen $100 bills before in his life and neither had Evelyn. But Oral’s seed sown in faith produced a harvest.

2. Remember: A Seed Will Meet Any Need

When we sow a seed in faith, we will reap a harvest, but it’s up to us what size of harvest. That’s right! We have the power to measure our seed and affect the outcome of our harvest.

In Matthew 13, Jesus told the Parable of the Sower, saying, “A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and ate them up. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they had not much soil; and at once they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil. But when the sun rose, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they dried up and withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them out. Other seeds fell on good soil, and yielded grain–some a hundred times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some thirty” (verses 3-8, AMPC). Are you sowing good seed into good ground? Then expect a good harvest!

3. Declare your return.

What size harvest do you need? Jerry Savelle says, “A seed will meet any need,” and it will! What is it that you need today? What size harvest do you need? Sow a seed. But not just any seed. Measure your seed. Sow intentionally for what you need and sow it in faith.

Your harvest can be thirtyfold, sixtyfold or a hundredfold. Pray over your seed in faith. Water it with the Word, meaning speak and pray the Word over your seed. Declare the promises of God that He’s given you over your seed. Then declare your return. Declare the end from the beginning, and see your faith manifested in reality!

Second Corinthians 5:6-9 says, “So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him” (NKJV). God wants us to walk by faith and not by sight. He wants us to please Him, and according to Hebrews 11:6, without faith it is impossible to please God.

To help you walk by faith and not by sight–living pleasing to God–consider The Checklist of Faith. By applying this checklist of fundamentals, you can ensure you walk by faith every day!

1. Believe it in your heart, then say it with your mouth.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23, KJV).

The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), and his primary mission is to steal the Word. If he can steal the Word, then he can steal what you need and want. So always find a promise in God’s Word and stand on it without wavering in your faith.

2. Faith will not work in an unforgiving heart.

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses” (Mark 11:25, KJV).
Check your heart. Is there someone you need to forgive? Sometimes the person we need to forgive can be surprising. Have you taken up an offense at a doctor because you didn’t like a diagnosis? Have you taken up an offense at a politician because of their position on legislation? Forgive them so that unforgiveness doesn’t interfere with your faith working on your behalf.

3. Abraham’s BLESSING cannot be received with Thomas’ faith.

“The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he [Thomas] said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe” (John 20:25, KJV).
Thomas, one of the 12 original disciples, made a choice–he chose unbelief. We can never be a person who chooses not to believe. If we do, our faith is blocked. Always choose to believe.

4. Faith calls things that be not as though they were.

“Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]” (Hebrews 11:1, AMPC).

When the devil came at Jesus and tempted Him, Jesus responded by saying, “It is written” (Matthew 4:4, KJV), then quoted the Word of God. This is exactly what we’re to do. We’re to speak to our finances, our bodies, our relationships and our circumstances with promises from the Word of God. When we do, we release our faith; and change begins whether we see it immediately or later.

5. Faith demands corresponding action.

“And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.

And the woman was made whole from that hour” (Matthew 9:20-22, KJV).
The woman with the issue of blood used corresponding action. She said it, believed it, did it and reported it. She not only said it in faith, but she reached out and touched Jesus’ garment. According to Luke’s account, she then declared before all the people why she had touched Him–and the miraculous results (Luke 8:47).

Put The Checklist of Faith with its five fundamentals to work in your life today and see the results. You can start by believing and speaking this prayer:

Father, thank You for Your Word. I thank You that I can speak the results I want by faith, and You hear me and answer me. I speak that I am healed and whole in every area of my life. I speak that my relationships are healed and whole. I speak that my finances flourish, and I am debt-free. Thank You for being so good to me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

To live a life of faith means we not only know the Word of God, but we know how to release it in our lives–and the primary way we release our faith is by the words we speak.

Mark 11:23 is one of the foundational verses where Jesus taught this: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” (NKJV).

God wants us to speak to the mountains in our lives. He wants us to speak the change we want to see. It’s easy to begin asking God to change what we want changed, but He’s already equipped and empowered us to do it ourselves. He’s given us His Word to speak, and when we do, there’s power in what we say.

James 3:5 tells us, “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!” (KJV).

When Brother Copeland was growing up, he was a country boy, as he calls it, and because of that, he was taught from a young age how to start a fire–and he started with “kindling.”

Kindling is small twigs or pieces of wood primarily used to start a fire because they are easily combustible. Then once the fire has started, you add bigger twigs or pieces of wood to it to keep the fire going.

Our tongues–or mouths–are like kindling, because the words we speak have the power to ignite small fires that can turn into big bonfires–both ones that are for our good and ones that aren’t. How important it is that we only speak what we want! We can speak life or death, BLESSING or cursing, hope or despair, faith or unbelief. Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Have you not been getting what you want? Are you speaking what you want? Do you need some fresh kindling? Here’s How To Ignite Your Faith by Speaking the Word:

  1. First, to start the right kind of fire in your life, put the following verses in your heart to remind you how to ignite your faith with the words you speak. (All verses are from the New King James Version of the Bible.)

    Matthew 12:35-37
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

    Romans 10:10
“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

    2 Corinthians 4:13
“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak.”

    Hebrews 10:23
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

  2. Next, find verses specific to every situation and circumstance in your life where you want to see change, and start speaking those verses. This will ignite your faith because as you speak them aloud, faith will come!
  3. Then, watch the blaze and keep stoking the fire of faith by continuing to speak God’s Word. When you feel tempted to be moved by what you see or experience, speak God’s Word instead. Call things that be not as though they were, and don’t stop (Romans 4:17, KJV)

7 Principles for Living a Life of Resilient Faith

Did you know that faith is a tangible force? It’s like an invisible shield surrounding you that is working on your behalf all the time. However, what your faith is working for is completely up to you. If you set your faith on the Word of God, and make it the final authority in your life, then you will experience His goodness in all areas of your life. In fact, it’s the key to living supernaturally, where you are worry-free and victorious all the time. When your faith is set to what God says you can have, you can overcome every circumstance (1 John 5:4; Mark 11:22-24)!

Dive into the following Three Ways to Live Supernaturally, so you can learn how to use your faith to conquer every situation and claim every victory.

No. 1: Live Supernaturally in Your Finances

Did the Lord create you to fail? No, not at all. He created you to walk in victory! Not some of the time; not most of the time; but all of the time!
You may be thinking, Well, these bills don’t look like I’m winning. That’s exactly what the devil wants you to think. He wants to keep your attention on what is happening around you, distracting you from the Word and your victory. Don’t fall for his tricks.

Gear up your faith and respond to lack and poverty with the Word of God. When you align yourself with the Word, you will overcome those bills that need to be paid and any other lack you may be facing (Matthew 6:33). Your faith will start working on your behalf 24 hours a day to bring God’s promises into your life. Faith doesn’t look at the limitations around you; it only looks at God’s unlimited abundance and your rightful access to it as an heir of Jesus (Philippians 4:19; Romans 8:17).

Speak this confession over your finances today: “Father, according to Your Word, I stand strong in my faith, and as a tither and a giver, I am ready to receive from You. Thank You for providing exceedingly and abundantly, above all that I could ask or think. Thank You that You meet all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus and for multiplying my seed sown so that I may give into every good work. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!” (Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Ephesians 3:20-21; Philippians 4:19; 2Corinthians 9:10)

No. 2: Live Supernaturally in Your Health

You are a new creation in Christ. You are not just redeemed or reformed; you have been completely remade in His image (Ephesians 2:10). That means He’s recreated you to have all that he has. Have you ever heard of God being sick? No, of course not! Since He doesn’t have sickness, you don’t have to have it either. You can live healthy and whole, just like the Lord originally intended. As Kenneth Copeland says in accordance with Isaiah 53:5, “You are not the sick trying to get healed. You are the healed, and the devil is trying to take your health away from you..” The next time any type of sickness tries to come on you, even if it’s just a sniffle, remember you are born of God and do not have to accept that illness. The Lord has empowered you to rebuke it and speak the Word over your health.

Speak this confession over your health today: “Sickness and disease, I command you to leave my body now. According to Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24, I am healed and whole. I was bought and paid for by the precious blood of Jesus, and He bore all my sickness and diseases. He carried my sorrows, so I receive healing now. Jesus is my Healer! Lord, I give You all the praise for providing everything I need to walk in wholeness. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”  (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24; Galatians 3:13; Matthew 18:18

No. 3: Live Supernaturally in Your Relationships

As Christians, our most important relationship is with Jesus, and all our other relationships fall into place after Him. Why? Because our relationship with Jesus dictates how we love and respond to others (Romans 8:7-10). In fact, our relationship with Jesus directly influences what kind of relationships we have with our friends, family and even our spouse. If we’re walking in Love, we’re less likely to over-react when someone else gets upset or offended. And we’re more likely to be open to hearing Jesus tell us if He wants us to walk away from a friend who may no longer be supportive of our walk with God (2 Corinthians 6:14). Making Jesus our most important relationship sets up our other relationships to  flourish, and it draws kind, caring and supportive people into our lives.

Speak this confession over your relationships today: “Lord, I thank You that I have the mind of Christ and walk with wise friends. I thank You that I am a friend who always loves, and my friends and I sharpen each other in You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.” (1 Corinthians 2:16; Proverbs 13:20, Proverbs 17:17, Proverbs 27:17)

When you put these three ways to live supernaturally to work in your finances, health and relationships, the devil flees, blessings overtake you, and impossibilities become realities!
