Grace teaches us! The “Spirit of grace” instructs us from the inside. Let the Holy Spirit of God counsel you and teach you how to live in this present world. If you listen to the voice of the world, you will be worldly minded, or carnally minded, which is death. But, if you tune in […]Read More

When you were born again, you weren’t half-reborn, you weren’t made half-righteous or a quarter righteous. You were made the righteousness of God in Christ! You were made a “joint-heir with Him.” According to Strong’s Concordance that term joint heir refers to “a personal equality based on an equality of possession.” Jesus went to the […]Read More

In Jesus’ Name. It’s more than a phrase we tack onto the end of our prayers. All that God is and does is represented in the Name of Jesus. The Amplified Bible says when you ask in His Name, you present your requests to the Father on the basis of all that Jesus is. So […]Read More

Think about that for a moment! God has reserved the right to override the will of a nation’s leader, if need be, to see that His people are governed according to His will. What’s more, God will hear the prayer of any government leader. Even if he’s the worst reprobate in the whole world. He […]Read More

Most of us have a distorted idea about patience. We think of it as something designed to help us suffer failure gracefully, but according to these scriptures, it will actually put us on the path to success! Patience (or being consistently constant) is the power twin of faith. They work together to see to it […]Read More

Envying, strife and divisions had reduced the early Corinthian Christians back to the natural, or carnal, state that they were in before they were born again. It had so stunted their spiritual growth that they couldn’t understand the things the Apostle Paul wanted to teach them. Satan has sent the same spirit of division among […]Read More

What is God’s reason for prospering His people? Is it so we can watch bigger TVs? So we can buy finer houses and more luxurious cars? There are times when life on this earth is hard and uncomfortable…and even downright painful. When those times come, you deeply need the comfort that only the Holy Spirit can bring. If you were given the choice between life and death, which would you choose? The answer seems obvious. But, in reality, it’s not. You see, choosing death doesn’t necessarily mean jumping from the nearest cliff. It’s much more subtle than that. The Bible says death is being carnally minded, being entangled in this present worldly […]Read More

Have you ever wrestled with one of those problems that stubbornly refuses to go away? It seems to be immune to all solutions. You swat at the thing in every conceivable way, but instead of being eliminated, it expands and multiplies until it’s wildly out of control. An Egyptian pharaoh faced just that kind of […]Read More

God has raised us up to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus! That’s what the Word of God says. Very few of us have actually dared to believe this. We’ve uplifted Jesus. We’ve exalted Him–and rightly so! But at the same time, we’ve unwittingly belittled what He did by not allowing Him to […]Read More

Who do you turn to when you need help, when you need an important answer to an important question? Do you ask God first? So many believers fail to do that! They’ll stand around wringing their hands and talking to each other all day. They’ll inquire of their pastor. They’ll inquire of their friends. They’ll […]Read More

Hopelessness. As this age draws to a close, that’s a feeling that’s going to be more and more common among the people of this world. But, you know, it’s something we as believers never have to feel! I used to wonder why we believers didn’t see more of the power of God operating among us than we do. With what we know about faith and the Word, it seemed to me signs and wonders and miracles should be happening all the time. So, one day I asked, “Lord, why isn’t the power […]Read More
