You can experience a 100% success rate in your prayer life. That’s right.

The best part? The Bible tells us how!

Here are steps to prayer that bring results.

1. Base Your Prayers on God’s Word. (1 John 5:14-15) You can go boldly to the throne of grace when your prayers are lined up with what God has already said. There is a promise from God to you for every situation you face. Find the scriptures that match your situation, then pray accordingly. You will see results.

2. Believe You Receive When You Pray. (Matthew 21:22) Most people want to wait to see the answer before they believe. But faith believes before it sees. If you believe God’s promises to you, then you should absolutely expect to receive what you ask.

3. Do Not Fear. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) The Bible says this so many times because it is so, so important. Fear is the opposite of faith, and faith is what gets prayers answered. So, if you have fear, ditch it quick. Move over into faith to get your prayers answered.

4. See Yourself Succeeding. (Joshua 1:8) Whatever you see on the inside of you is what you’ll have. If you’re looking at your circumstances, you’ll limit your expecting when it comes to answered prayer. See yourself with the answer before you even pray.

5. Line Your Words Up With Your Prayer. (Revelation 12:11) If you pray for healing then go around telling everyone how sick you are, guess what? You’ve negated your prayer. Once you’ve prayed the prayer of faith—for healing, finances, relationships or anything else—make sure your words line up with God’s Word from that point on. Words are a powerful force—don’t ever underestimate them.

6. Sow a Seed. (Luke 6:38) This is spiritual principle. When you sow a seed toward what you’re believing for, you’re putting the law of sowing and reaping into action. So, whatever your prayer, sow where you want to go. If you need a job, sow into helping someone else get a job. If you need clothes, sow some of your clothes to someone who needs them. If you need finances, sow into a ministry that has an anointing for increase.

We hope these tips have helped you and give you more confidence in your prayer life! We’ve seen these principles work time and time again and it’s our great pleasure to share them with you.
