Description
- Develop and execute recruiting plans
- Network through ministry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees
- Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
- Administrative duties and recordkeeping
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Build networks to find qualified candidates
- Utilize the Internet for recruitment
- Help establish an ”employer of choice” reputation for the ministry, both internally and externally
- Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale and source new candidate leads
- Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings
- Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
- Coordinate college recruiting initiatives
- Manage the use of recruiters and headhunters
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirement
- Conduct prescreening interviews
- Schedule and administer applicant testing
- Interview and select employees
- Perform reference and background checks for potential employees
- Prepare job offer packages and rejection letters
- Prepare and send new employee orientation packages
- Coordinate travel for all out of town interviews
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data
- Work with out of state new hires concerning relocation
- Performs other special projects, as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 5 years recruiting experience
- Sensitive to the ministry’s needs, employee goodwill and the public image
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, primarily in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Knowledge and understanding of Kenneth Copeland Ministries and the employment function
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Able to travel by commercial air and ground transportation
- Able stand for long periods of time
- Able to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans
- Relate and interact professionally with diverse groups of people
