Description

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans
  • Network through ministry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees
  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
  • Administrative duties and recordkeeping
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Build networks to find qualified candidates
  • Utilize the Internet for recruitment
  • Help establish an ”employer of choice” reputation for the ministry, both internally and externally
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale and source new candidate leads
  • Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings
  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
  • Coordinate college recruiting initiatives
  • Manage the use of recruiters and headhunters
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirement
  • Conduct prescreening interviews
  • Schedule and administer applicant testing
  • Interview and select employees
  • Perform reference and background checks for potential employees
  • Prepare job offer packages and rejection letters
  • Prepare and send new employee orientation packages
  • Coordinate travel for all out of town interviews
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data
  • Work with out of state new hires concerning relocation
  • Performs other special projects, as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years recruiting experience
  • Sensitive to the ministry’s needs, employee goodwill and the public image
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, primarily in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Knowledge and understanding of Kenneth Copeland Ministries and the employment function
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Able to travel by commercial air and ground transportation
  • Able stand for long periods of time
  • Able to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans
  • Relate and interact professionally with diverse groups of people
